Cleaning of the room is not a 4 stars standard, not attentive, clean and cleaning staff not really friendly and forthcoming.
Also the toiletries and shower gel comes in plastic bags not sufficiently refilled
The neighborhood was pretty quiet over night, but there were plenty of great cafes and boulangeries and shops close by. We will absolutely stay again on future trips!
C'est un bol d'air frais, une parenthèse enchantée, un coin de Paradis au milieu de Paris.
Mais la personne qui s'est longuement occupée de nous était fort sympathique !
Concernant le cadre:très surfait.
The only slight downside is that being in the heart of the fashion district, there isn’t much nightlife immediately around the hotel. However, it's not far from other lively areas of Paris, so it's easy to explore more when you're looking for something to do in the evening. Overall, I’d highly recommend staying here for a chic and peaceful experience in Paris!
The hotel itself is beautifully appointed, with comfortable rooms and very soft bedding/robes that felt like a home away from home. But it's the exceptional service that truly sets this place apart. Camille at the lobby was incredibly helpful, providing recommendations and making us feel welcome.
And a special shoutout to Remi, the front office manager, for his exceptional attention to detail and care. When we realized my partner had left behind a cherished vintage jacket, Remi and the team at the hotel immediately sprang into action to help us retrieve it. Their dedication and care made a significant impact on our experience.
This hotel truly made our visit to Paris memorable. The combination of prime central location, charming ambiance, and outstanding service created a TRULY unforgettable experience that we will certainly come back for!
1. The windows were not soundproofed AT ALL
2. The bedroom was located at the corner of two busy streets (I’ll let you imagine the noise)
3. The door giving access to the corridor could not be closed entirely, adding another layer of noise from the other guests
Overall, I slept 3 hours and had to book another hotel for my second night in Paris. The manager did not offer to reimburse part if not all of the night I didn’t stay in the hotel. I would not recommend that place. There is clearly a lack of cooperation from the hotel and lack of alignment between the standards expected from a 4-star hotel and the reality behind it.
What truly stood out was the exceptional hospitality of the staff. They were incredibly friendly and supportive throughout our stay. One morning, we overslept past breakfast hours, but instead of being met with disappointment, the staff graciously prepared fresh coffee for us and allowed us to enjoy a leisurely start to our day.
A memorable highlight was the thoughtful gesture from the hotel management on Christmas Eve—a box of exquisite chocolate sweets from a local Chocolaterie. It was a heartwarming touch that truly enhanced our holiday experience!
