Avis 1K PARIS HÔTEL Paris

As this was our first trip to Paris we were unsure where to stay and found choosing a hotel that suited our needs quite difficult. 1K Hotel was absolutely perfect for us.
After a direct 17 hour flight from Perth, Australia we were pleasantly greeted by Alexandra at reception who was incredibly welcoming , friendly, helpful and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. We could not check in till later that day, but when we did we were so happy with our room. It was large, clean, bright and there was a complimentary bottle of bubbles to welcome us! There is a lift and stairs for access to all floors. The area is close walking distance to lots of shops, patisserie’s, cafes and popular attractions.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at IK and highly recommend this hotel. I would also like to thank Alexandra for her help and beautiful hospitality, she is an absolute asset to your team.

Je n’ai pas été dans l’hôtel mais dans le restaurant, les plats sont bons, les cocktails aussi et tout ça a un prix très abordable. Je le recommande vivement ????

Zimmer sind leider sehr laut. Lage des Hotel ist gut. Wollte ein anderes Zimmer, und hätte 400 bis 1000 Euro bezahlen müssen.

Location was wonderful for our purpose.
It was very quiet. Staff was friendly. We did not use the restaurants and did not take advantage of the free cava (we do not drink). Room was nice (we were upgraded to a very spacious room). Hair dryer was a little weak.
Set up of the room was good for us, but could be treacherous with the bed at a different level than rest of the room.
The set up with the sinks in a different room than toilet was a little odd, but it worked.
The room was very well cleaned and maintained.
Overall, after finding the hotel corridors a little dimly lit, we got used to it.
The hotel had been recommended by friends of ours, and we shall consider staying again if/when we come back to Paris.

We had a wonderful stay at 1K Paris. The hotel is in a super convenient location in the 3rd arrondissement, close to several metro lines and surrounded by great restaurants and bakeries.

We stayed in the Superior Double Room, which was spacious, clean, and tidy. The windows opened wide to let in fresh air, and the room also had functioning AC, which was great. While the shower water pressure could have been stronger and the mini bar fridge wasn’t cold, these were only minor issues in an otherwise very comfortable stay.

The service really stood out, the reception staff were all very friendly and spoke perfect English. They helped us store butter in the kitchen fridge and quickly resolving an issue when our room’s card reader stopped working by giving us a physical key.

The website made the rooms look way more inviting.

Our room (414) had stained carpet (didn't feel comfortable walking around without tennis shoes), the floor boards were rotting and paint chipped away, the walls had been patched and not even painted some areas had fingerprints like people had ketchup ur blood on their hands, the lights were flickering. The sink in the bathroom wouldn't drain, the toilet gurgled and ran all night, the air unit didn't work(the second night they brought us a fan), the shower had a head on it that didn't aim down, so it sprayed water all over the bathroom. You couldn't even stand under the head to wash properly.

Pretty disappointed.

pas digne d'un 4 etoiles. salle de bains pas propre, petit dejeuner decevant pour 4 etoiles, vous prenez une suite, vous vosu retrouvez au 1ère etage et lorsque vous regardez par la fenetre vous avez une terrasse/bar couverte mais le bruit passe donc il ne faut pas etre un couche tôt ! odeur dans les toilletes de l'hotel etc...

One receptionist was extremely helpful, dark hair on dayshift. Very polite and solved our problem very well.

Otrolig Service, vi blev välkomna på ett makalöst sätt och de tog hand om oss genom hela vistelsen med det lilla extra i servicen. Rummen var fina och väldigt fräscha samt att hotellet låg extremt bra. Denna upplevelse var verkligen helt perfekt på 1k hotel.

Standort: U-Bahn 50m entfernt. Gebäude: etwas älter. Fenster schon etwas marode, Bad könnte Mal überholt werden. Kein Ganzkörper Spiegel im Zimmer.
Umgebung: halbe Stunde Fußweg bis Notre Dame. Top Cafe und Shopping für kleine Läden

The rooms and nice and big and well appointed, plenty of storage and our room was silent at night (we were able to sleep with the windows open). The bed was large and comfortable.
2 small gripes are 1) the breakfast was quite uninspired and 2) it would be nice if there were some English channels (or even better a chromecast) on the TV in the room.
This is the first time I've stayed in the 11th district and found it to be charming and a nice place to stay.
I would stay here again.

The location of this hotel is incredible. It is steps away from three metro stations and situated in the lively Republique neighborhood which really helped us experience the city. This neighborhood is a hidden gem for sure. Paris is a walkable city, but this location made it even more so. I was surprised at how close we were to the Marais and central shopping areas, and I especially loved the amount of vintage shops nearby. If I had more time I would've explore more to the north side towards Canal St. Martin as it's also very close-by. This place also had easy access from Gare du Nord via metro station which helped us with transport to/from CDG and Eurostar. I also loved the amount of amazing bakeries nearby. Staff were extremely helpful, attentive, and responsive to requests. I loved the size of the room - a rare find in Paris. The window opens to a beautiful view of the street. The pillows and bed were comfortable for me too.

There were a few pain points for us: 1 - Lack of AC in the room made the environment stuffy. Even though temperature outside in Paris was very cool when we visited, our room was stuffy and it was difficult to lower the temperature inside the room or get proper air circulation. My first night I woke up covered in full body sweat. 2 - Cleanliness could be improved. I appreciated that our room did not have carpet, but I felt the floor and the room could be cleaner. 3 - Noise. I would advise getting a courtyard facing room as it was extremely loud on the street side from people going out late into the morning and ambulance/police car sirens. 4 - Water temperature was awful and made showering a challenge. The water temp would not stay consistent and would often get scaldingly hot or freezing cold without me touching the handle. And if I adjust the handle, the temperature would swing again.

Overall, this hotel provided great value for the price I paid and I'm satisfied with my stay. At this price point, I think it would be difficult to find a hotel room this spacious in the city - but it also depends on your priorities for hotel location vs room size vs quality of amenities when traveling. I would advise anyone who is sensitive to room/water temperature to avoid.

Nous avons passées avec ma fille un très bon séjour. L’hôtel est super bien placé. Malheureusement nous n’avons pas eu l’occasion de manger cette fois-ci au Mezcaleria mais avons eu le plaisir de de siroter un excellent cocktail au Malicia.
À refaire!

La chambre 312 est un enfer ! À éviter absolument : les fenêtres ont beau être fermées, pendant votre nuit : vous êtes sans cesse réveillé par la circulation, bruits de rue, cris extérieurs. On a passé une nuit blanche !!
En journée , si vous avez le malheur d’aérer, vous n’entendez plus votre compagne.

The hotel is definitely value for money.
Room was a decent size, had plenty of storage, large bed which was on the firmer side but good quality linen. Lovely big windows with great blackout curtains. Bathroom was a good size and the toiletries provided are nice. This room had a bath with a shower over, I'd have preferred a shower only but it was fine and worked well, I suppose it's good for a hotel to have options for all. Has a small basic mini bar but no coffee facilities which really should be a basic offer in this type of room.
The room was a bit tired and maybe could do with some updating but for the price it is a good value option.
Service at the front desk was pleasant, friendly and efficient.
I personally liked the interior décor of the hotel.
Breakfast buffet selection was basic but ok. There is a limited selection compared to other hotels I've stayed at but the quality and freshness was fine and I didn't go without. Only criticism of the breakfast is that the cutlery and crockery wasn't clean enough, I had to sort through the bowls and spoons to find what I felt was clean.
Location is very good and well connected with lots of places to eat, drink and shop close by. I booked directly with the hotel as it offered the best value. It's good value for money for Paris!

OK stay, nothing special. Room was a great size and bathroom was huge. However too many downsides to cancel out the positives. Our room faced a courtyard which housed the hotel bar, music blasting until 2am at the weekend. Lights in the room flickered constantly, I heard another guest complain about this at checkout. The response was 'Yes we know about that'. Lobby area is impressive but the bedroom was tired and in need of a freshen up. I wouldn't recommend to older travellers due to the noise and also the bed was on a pedestal/step which was quite high, definitely fall/trip hazard. I would not stay again, expensive stay for an average hotel.

До всех достопримечательностей достаточно долго добираться на такси или метро. В номере нет чайника, утюга.

Mooi hotel leuk restaurant maar onbijt viel wat tegen

Muy recomendable el hotel y muy buen servicio. Me gustaría resaltar el restaurante del hotel Inka, uno de los mejores sitios en el que he estado, con comida peruana casera, increíble y precio accesible. Deliciosa comida. Miguel y Sara.

Hôtel qui essaye de prélever plus de 300€ plusieurs mois après notre passage, donc très douteux comme pratique et à éviter d'urgence si vous ne voulez pas surveiller votre compte en banque en permanence.

Really run down, beds too hard, water temperature impossible to adjust! Breakfast below average! For the price not good enough
