Avis CHEZ JANOU Paris

The restaurant was so busy and had a line with a waitlist, but the host was so organized and checked in with everyone often. Despite them being constantly busy, the service was so good from our waitress. This was our first meal in Paris and it was hard to top. We did the escargot to start followed by their duck and steak, with their house wine. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. I will think about this duck for a very long time. Also tried their famous mousse and it did not disappoint, would highly recommend..

음식의 맛은 괜찮았다.
남자 혼자 갔는데 예약자가 아무도 없이 10팀가량 기다리고 있는상황에서 제일 먼저 줄서서 말했지만 다른 5팀 가량 먼저 들어갔다. 20분 기다려야 한다해서 기다렸지만 다른팀들은 그냥 바로 드려보내줬다. 결국 받은자리는 통로의 조그만한자리... 그래도 몇몇 웨이터들은 아주 친절했다. 다먹고 영수증 달라하면 10분은 기다려야했다고 한다... 너무 바빠서 그러려니 하고싶지만 2주동안 처음 느끼는 경험이라 기억에 남는다.

Unfortunately we were served a chewy, inedible steak. The staff member dealing with the complaint was disrespectful when it was brought to his attention. The steak was taken off the bill but only when the waiter said it was because, ‘ he was a nice person .’ So much is said about any business when complaints are made - the manner and professionalism with which they are dealt is key .

Had this place on our wishlist for Paris! Got a table spontaneously at lunch time! So so worth it and amazing! Great service right from the start, food was amazing and the ambiance Paris at its best ????

If you can handle getting your reservation - which can be unpleasant - once you get there - and hopefully they find the reservation you made and you get seated - it's amazing. Great food - great staff... a must in Paris. The caveat is - if you can make the reservation in person - that's better than calling. If you call - the staff is - rushed - and their response can range from distracted to crabby. I learned the hard way - always confirm the reservation. But - once you get in - and get situated - it's fantastic.

Posto incantevole. Cibo veramente buono e con una notevole varietà di pastis. Il personale è molto affabile. Noi non avevamo prenotato, ma siamo riusciti a sederci dopo un'oretta circa. Buono il rapporto qualità prezzo. Da tornare

We ate pretty well. However, we faced a lot of stress in finding a place because, even though we tried calling the restaurant for three days (many times per day), they never replied, this was truly stressful and frustrating; for this reason, we went there one day very early and they told us to wait 45 mins and put us on the waiting list. And ok. But after 1 hour they did not remember us; after some more time they let us sit but outside. It was very cold and there was not any heating outside. Food was ok but it is not possible that it is so difficult to go and eat at a restaurant.

Bellissimo ristorante storico al Marais.
Ambiente molto rilassato e caratteristico.
Cibo ottimo, specialmente l’anatra e la mousse al cioccolato.

Вкусно, но ничего выдающегося, кроме шоколадного мусса. Впечатление немного портит количество людей, но при такой нагрузке обслуживание отличное и атмосфера на высоте. Советую бронировать.
Ещё один момент - меню у них только на французском

We had such a disappointing experience here, we had a reservation for lunch and waited for more than half an hour after our reservation outside because they didn’t have a table for us. However they were giving tables to people who arrived after us. We weren’t allowed to wait inside and weren’t even offered and apology, so after around 40 minutes of standing outside without any of the waitresses taking further notice we decided to just leave and find somewhere else. Would litterally never go here again.

Buen sitio para comer, platos caseros al más puro estilo francés y con precio económico. Mejor reservar ya que se llena.

My friend and I went here on our last night in Paris. We did not have a reservation but were lucky enough that the host got us a seat outside within a reasonable time frame.

We started with the mussels and I had the steak and potatoes, and for dessert we had the mousse - all excellent. We asked our server for wine recommendations so I don’t remember what it was except that it was delicious.

The service was maybe my favourite part. He was very kind and very patient with my broken French. And every other staff member from the bartender to the host to just the person I asked to direct me to the bathroom were all warm and welcoming. We felt very well taken care of.

Overall it was a dazzling experience. From the food to the service to the atmosphere. I left totally buzzing.

Restaurant très sympa, assez petit, dans un coin discret et calme, possibilité de manger dehors, par contre c'est bondé dedans mais c'est normal, c'est excellent ! A noter qu'ils disposent de 80 pastis différents ! Fenouil, cannelle, bleu, rouge, j'en passe et des meilleurs :) Le service est nickel malgré le monde, il y a beaucoup de personnels ! Nous y avons diner à 4 et tout le monde s'est régalé ! Entrées et plats du jours en plus de la carte. J'avais pris un foie de veau en plat qui était vraiment bon ! Une adresse à connaitre... Nous y reviendrons !

Très bonne adresse où on retrouve l'ambiance petit bistro du sud. On y mange très bien pour pas très cher et on y voit même des stars des fois! C'est souvent complet, il vaut mieux réserver par contre

Bénéficiant d'un bouche-à-oreille depuis quelques années, le succès du restaurant ne se démentit pas. Pourtant, à l'époque ou j'allais y manger et qu'il n'y avait pas encore toute cette foule, les plats étaient excellents. Aujourd'hui, c'est seulement moyen...

C'est très bon, et les prix sont raisonnables, c'est chaleureux et la sélection de pastis est exceptionnelle !
Un bémol : sans réservation, il est très difficile d'y manger...

Ah les petits farcis niçois ! Cuisine provençale savoureuse et à prix modique. Décor et ambiance sympa !
