Room is on the smaller size, but it was perfect for just my husband and I who really only used it to sleep. The staff was incredible. They were helpful and kind and made us feel welcome. The area is safe and close walking distance to a lot of larger sites in Paris. We would definitely stay here the next time we are in Paris

I’d like to preference that before visiting Paris for the first time this month, as an American, I was aware of a particular “pickpocketing culture” present in France, yet because of the location, ratings, and most reviews of this hotel, I was confident that my visit would be smooth. On May 21, I learned that maintenance staff at this location unlawfully stole items from my room. after completing a police report and presenting it to the manager, an older women who came off very unreceptive to my circumstance, informed me that nothing would be done and there were no solutions the hotel could provide. Mind you, the security/police present in the evenings at the location provided false information and unpromising solutions. I’m never one to write a review unless absolutely moved to but i am utterly dishearten and disgusted by the irresponsibility and insensibility of the staff members at Palais Royal. I sincerely hope that operations and heightened security measures be implemented to create a safer visit experience, especially in such beautiful area of the the city. this

Point positif : personnel accueillant et sympathique, emplacement idéal, petit déjeuner bien et propreté ok. Point négatif : la literie, sommier instable et grinçant au moindre mouvement, pour des hôtels de cette gamme sommier à remplacer, nuit compliqué de ce fait, et porte de douche fermant difficilement chambre 607

Great location, friendly and helpful staff.
The room could be furnished more comfortably, for example there is a space for a second chair and bigger wardrobe.
The sink in the bathroom is incredibly tiny. Water dripping on the floor through the bath shower door.

Stayed there years ago. Walked or used subway all over Paris, trained to Versailles and Normandy and other places over 14 days. Reminded of our trip by blog about Paris just today. We will never forget our little hotel. Location and price unbeatable.

This hotel isn’t necessarily bad. Pretty much exactly the amount of space I’d expect in a big city. However, the shower is so small, it is almost unusable and doesn’t seem properly sealed as water gets all over the floor even with the doors closed. The real big problem we have is, my husband got sick after we turned on the AC the second night. There is also visible mold on the walls which really raises concern about our health as we stay here. The staff is very friendly and helpful but that unfortunately doesn't make up for the condition of the space and if there’s mold here I cant imagine a room switch could improve our stay. Disappointed in the cleanliness being contradictory to reviews I saw when this was booked and am really hoping to not get sick again for the remainder of our trip.

As a lone female traveller I couldn't have picked a better hotel. Great location, just a couple of minutes walk from the beautiful Jardins de Palais Royal and 10 minutes from the Louvre. Loads of shops and restaurants nearby. The room was spotlessly clean and the staff were fabulous, so friendly and helpful.

Wir können das Hotel nur empfehlen. Die Lage ist genial, direkt um die Ecke beginnt der Park des Palais Royal und.am Ende des Parks befindet sich schon der Louvre. Die Zimmer sind sauber und der Service und die Freundlichkeit im Hotel sind wirklich sehr angenehm. Frühzeitige Anreise oder spätere Abreise mit Kofferaufbewahrung sind kein Problem. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Hotel is in a walkable distance to the main tourist attractions (if you are used to walk)! Many bakeries and restaurants nearby. Nice personnel and very clean. Room and bathroom a bit small, but worked fine for 2 people. There is some construction work going in the area, so you could hear some noice in the morning, but it was not a problem for us. Recommend staying at this hotel! Will stay there again when next time in Paris ????

Hôtel très bien placé à proximité du palais royal et du metro. Nous avons eu une chambre au dernier étage, vue sur les toits de Paris très sympathique avec petit balcon. Literie très confortable par contre problème au niveau de l'évacuation de l'eau dans le bac à douche et eau tiède le soir lorsqu'on a voulu prendre la douche à 23h.

Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff. The room was on the 3rd floor, the room was not big, but cozy, small bathroom, but despite this it was very clean, also in the room there was daily cleaning, tea, kettle and welcome cookies. Of course the prices are high, for 3 nights we paid 720 euros + 50 euros additional analogue upon arrival, but the location compensates for everything, the hotel is in the very center, there is no need to take a taxi. I definitely recommend it.

Hotel Palais Royal is a gem of a facility within walking distance of major attractions, in the 2eme arrondissment located on a quiet and secure Rue.||||For our friends' stay we requested the room with separate beds. The mattresses were extremely comfortable and the view over the Parisian roofs is breathtaking!||||Both room, bathroom and common spaces were curated and clean. I appreciated the breakfast and the toiletries in the bathroom (bio high quality hand/body wash, shampoo, hand/body lotion...).||||The only flaws found were the sliding door to the bathroom that cannot be closed entirely for 100% privacy and the absence of power outlets on bedside tables.||||A marvellous, attentive and friendly reception was Peter's. He welcomed us with kindness and a smile, doing his job remarkably.

Hôtel à éviter! Au delà du personnel mal aimable et qui s’en foutent de votre mécontentement, nous sommes arrivées à 23h30 (un 27 décembre) le chauffage n’était pas allumé. Que ce soit dans la chambre ou dans la salle de bain. Lit d’à peine 140 cm (nous avons mesuré). Douche pas hermétique donc le sol devient une pataugeoire (utile si vous souhaitiez un hôtel avec Spa). Attention, le clou du spectacle : « vu sur court intérieur » = vue sur le toit de la cuisine avec les groupes de climatisation.
Très peu de prises dans la chambre, les finitions sont à revoir. On était un peu comme Harry Potter et sa chambre sous l’escalier, la c’était la chambre au bout du couloir où l’on met les bons petits touristes.
Sans parler des deux personnes de l’accueil sur qui nous sommes tombés qui clairement s’en foutaient de savoir si nous avions passé un bon séjour ou non. Personne ne nous a proposé une solution de replis étant donné que nous n’avions pas de chauffage. Il fallait je cite « juste tourner le bouton du chauffage » ou dirais- je du grille pain ! Pour une chambre à 230€ autant vous dire que ça reste en travers de la gorge. Surtout qu’il s’agissait de notre premier week end en amoureux sans notre bébé. Autant vous dire qu’on a eu froid une bonne partie de la nuit.

Il y a quand même deux points positifs (nous ne sommes pas que des personnes aigris) le petit déjeuner est copieux et avec un large choix et l’emplacement de l’hôtel est impeccable.

Nous ne sommes pas du genre à laisser des mauvais commentaire, bien au contraire. Mais la c’est plus qu’inadmissible.

Ma famille a séjourné au Timhotel pendant la période de Noël. Le personnel et le concierge ont été extrêmement sympathiques et serviables. J'ai été à Paris plusieurs fois et cet hôtel est de loin le mieux situé. Calme, moins de touristes, à distance de marche du Louvre, de la rive gauche, du Marais. Très propre et récemment rénové. Excellent petit déjeuner ! Juste une belle expérience ! Un quartier parisien tranquille, c'est ça !

L'hôtel est très bien situé, les chambres propres, les services très bien.
La douche était très exiguë.
De plus un fort bruit d'écoulement permanent provenant de la plomberie qui traverse la chambre de haut en bas m'a empêché de dormir convenablement.

L'hôtel est bien situé, à quelques minutes à pied du Louvre. Le service est très chaleureux et les chambres sont très propres. Seules les chambres sont un peu petites, l'insonorisation n'est pas bonne, et le petit déjeuner est assez simple.
