I heard about this place through a Parisian blog and visited on May 24, 2025. The food was great, but the service was meh. I don’t recall the waitress’s name. I just recall that she seemed annoyed that we didn’t speak French so it definitely made us want to get in and get out. The tagliatelle I had though was phenomenal. I usually don’t like capers but they blended in nicely for a well-balanced taste. I would give this place another shot on account of the food.

Un déjeuner parfait pour la fête des mères avec notre fils de 3 ans : un service irréprochable, un menu très bien dessiné avec de belles surprises et bien proportionné, les vins proposés au verre sont diversifiés/interéssants et pour finir des attentions particulières pour notre fils. Le cadre était très chaleureux, et renforcé une fois de plus par un service que je n’avais pas vu depuis longtemps, et qui vous fait vivre une très belle expérience.

Nous y sommes allés pour un déjeuner professionnel. Très peu de choix en plats alors que beaucoup de choix en entrées.
Les plats sont hors de prix et minimalistes. Raviolis à la joue de bœuf, 6 bouchées sur du concassé de tomates à rester sur notre faim. On a été obligé de prendre un dessert pour caler un peu notre faim. On s’en sort à €40 par personne sans alcool et sans entrée sans avoir été rassasié.
Très dommage car cadre sympa et service agréable !

A hidden gem for Italian food in a magical Paris setting

Racines was one of our favorite meals in Paris. Tucked away in a stunning covered passage, the setting feels like a secret escape from the city. We sat outside under the glass roof, which made the whole experience feel even more special.

The food is Italian, simple in the best way, and beautifully executed. The gnudi was a standout—light, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. You can tell they care about ingredients and let them speak for themselves.

Service was excellent. It’s a small place, but everyone we interacted with was wonderful, and clearly cared about creating a great experience. It all felt personal and unrushed.

Highly recommend if you're looking for thoughtful Italian cooking in a one-of-a-kind Parisian atmosphere.

We managed to get a seat without reservation but it was very crowded. Food was great and service staff were friendly. Recommend the tiramisu, best I've had.

The veal was delicious. Pasta dishes were also very good (what the kids ordered). The meringue is amazing (and new on the menu today). Service was excellent!

Booked this reservation on March 15 for April 3. We were seated in the back of the restaurant by a meat slicer and by the hot kitchen. This is not a space where customers should be seated. Not to mention it is subject to staff walking by to serve in an extremely tight space. Asked for a different table and was told there were no options which is understood because there is limited seating. This table should not even be an option for diners. And to add to this, after we asked for a table change, the service was dismissive, rushed and they never even checked in with us after bringing apps or entrees. Very disappointing birthday celebration.

This tiny restaurant is a gem. Due to the size of our party, we were placed in the cozy upstairs dining room which hosts a fixed - and substantial - menu. We had no idea what to expect and were so pleasantly surprised by each course. Our server was lovely and did her best to accommodate requests. We highly recommend!

J'ai eu un soucis avec ma reservation il y a plusieurs mois, et le problème a été géré par Stephanie avec un professionnalisme et une bienveillance tellement étonnante que je reviens dîner depuis souvent avec plaisir. La nourriture y est toujours excellente, et l'ambiance très agréable.

Super restaurant parfait pour un dîner à 2
Une carte minimaliste avec des produits frais et très bons.
Table légèrement petites mais cela apporte un aspect cosy.

What a venue! Truly amazing atmosphere and design. Lovely staff, very intimate and good food. Highly recommend the Milanese!! Absolutely delicious. The rest of the meal lacked a little in salt but other than that it was great!

Belle découverte avec un super bonus :-)
Comme à mon habitude, je réserve toujours à la dernière minuté donc difficile d'obtenir une table dans ce restaurant, mais la semaine dernière super chanceux, une annulation de dernière minute nous a permis de découvrir enfin cet établissement et cerise sur le gâteau nous avons eu accès à la salle à manger privée à l'étage :-)
Le résultat est parfait, une ambiance chic mais sobre, un peu comme à la maison, un personnel souriant au top, une carte alléchante, nous avons tenté de goûter une grande partie de la carte, tous les plats étaient raffinés et excellents.
Une belle carte des vins avec un superbe Montepulciano.
Effectivement une adresse gastro donc un peu chère mais vraiment le rapport qualité/prix est parfait.

Le personnel et l'ambiance retro du lieu sont top!
En revanche côté cuisine et c'est surtout pour cela que l'on vient, si vous cherchez une cuisine italienne avec du gout ce n'est pas ici. Les plats sont tristes et fades. Désolé pour le chef.
Le rapport qualité prix n'y est pas!

A charming bistrattoria tucked away in the Passage des Panoramas. For a family event, we reserved the dining room on the first floor, enjoying a set menu that featured three appetizers, two main courses, and one heavenly tiramisu. This place is not to be missed, thanks to its exquisite food, warm atmosphere, and excellent service.

Établissement haut de gamme dans l'esprit, l'ambiance, la qualité gastronomique et le goût mais tout en prix plus que corrects grâce à une carte bien étudiée et réduite. Romantique à souhait dans le passage des panoramas... Je ne peux que recommander ce restaurant pour notre très belle expérience avec ma partenaire. Très bonne sélection de vins également. N'hésitez pas à réserver la salle à l'étage si vous êtes 5, c'est vraiment l'expérience ultime à faire entre amis !

food was delicious! especially the butter sage gnocci and milanesa. also the tiramisu was to die for! every single plate even the 2 complementary ones they gave us : delicious. wine selection was good as well. and the people were extremely nice! it’s a cosy restaurant i think it would be cool for a date

Great food, decent service and nice ambiance. However, the staff really needs to manage the seating better. We were asked to move the table midway while eating to make room for someone else to sit. The table behind me barely had any space to sit and our chairs were constantly hitting each other. Prepare for this beforehand please. Don’t make me get up and move tables around without so much as a ‘sorry’.
