We had a very relaxing and enjoyable evening at Caffè Stern. Authentic Italian cuisine in an historic setting. Professional and gracious service, interesting and creative menu, not standard/expected Italian fare. Creative decor. Leisurely pace between courses. Not for when you need a quick meal!

Unfortunately this place is not one you want to choose for lunch anymore… I’ve been here a number of times but never for lunch- It was an unpleasant and uncomfortable experience- three different people greeted us before someone seated us- two people touch table one man twice, but couldn’t seem to find menus - the first one came by for a third time and my husband (we are 20 minutes in at this point) asked again for menus (yet another person showed up with water- but said not to order with him- well, we need menus to do that!) - after another 10 minutes we got up and left…confused as to the management incompetence to have this happen…I hope the owners read this, it wasn’t busy and maybe there’s a good reason…went around the corner to Traders where staff are on top of running a restaurant…sorry just the truth!

Un sommet ! Dans le cadre atypique de cette ancienne lmprimerie au cœur d'un des très beaux et fameux passages couverts parisiens, on profite d'une cuisine excellente et impeccable aux accents vénitiens. Le service aimable et compétent ajoute au plaisir gastronomique. Bravo aux équipes qui officient là !

Accueil très professionnel et sympathique, Tartare de veau, foie de veau Vénitien et risotto aux asperges prodigieux , sommelier pertinent avec de belles découvertes sur des blancs de Toscane et Vénétie un soirée de très belle facture, à découvrir ou redécouvrir

An exclusive italian restaurant placed in a beautiful XVIII century passage. The interior is very posh and dishes satisfy both the eye and the stomach. There is a wide selection of wine to pair with the dishes. I would recommend the snail risotto which was a masterpiece. The bill was quite high, but worth it as the taste was an unique experience.

We’ve tried the Cappuccino “Alla Bolognese”
Cuttlefish ink and dill tagliatelle.
Ricotta and Pumpkin Gnocchi
Duck Ragù and Orange Lasagna
Roast Suckling Pig “All’Amatriciana”
Beef Rib Eye and oh my god, everything was amazing!!! Homemade stern pistachio gelato is to die for ! And the service. They are so kind and attentive and knowlegdeable. This place is worth a trip to Paris alone! I’m no Michelin inspector but 3 stars from me, thank you chef Massimiliano and the staff!

Excelente experiência num italiano moderno, numa Paris do Século XVIII. O restaurante fica numa “Passagem” parisiense de 1799 e onde há muitos cafés e restaurantes. O Stern é um ambiente elegante e de ótimo serviço. A carta de vinhos é grande, mas é cara. Fala-se francês, inglês e italiano. Procure por vinhos de médio preço e que também são bons. A comida é maravilhosa. Como casal, pedimos para compartilhar a entrada e a sobremesa e cada um pediu um prato. Não fizemos a sequência italiana, nem o menu degustação de 120 euros, mas saímos absolutamente satisfeitos. Acompanhou um vinho tinto. Conta de 215 euros, com muito prazer. Recomendo vivamente!

Une vraie expérience que de manger dans ce restaurant.
La situation dans le passage des Panoramas est très sympa, le décor accueillant et l’équipe aux petits soins.

Les plats sont excellents de l’amuse-bouche au dessert, sans oublier les différents pains et huile d’olive ????
Tout est réalisé avec précision et générosité !

Nous y avons passé une très bonne soirée et avons hâte de réitérer l’expérience.

You can have mixed reviews about this place, the food is very peculiar but it definitely has great taste.
If I wanted to share one thing that you should not miss, it’s the cappuccino alla bolognese, it is a bottom layer of bolognese sauce with cream that mixes into a variety of exquisite flavors.
You would have to spend your time exploring the ingredients used in the other dishes, I would recommend to just dive in and try out.

Repas bon mais vraiment pas à la hauteur de l'addition. L'assiette d'anchois est à éviter, 32 euros une boîte d'anchois très salés sans aucune plus value si ce n'est un morceau de beurre et une tartine de pain grillé.

Very nice dinner at Stern. The table was really well set in a separate room. Food was innovative, special mention to the Pistaccio ice cream (one of the best ever). Nevertheless, super pricey for French clients.

Absolutely outstanding!!! It was a marvellous surprise. The service and the atmosphere were delightful but the food was the real star. We had the tasting menu and the dishes were one better than the other, including the dessert that was delicious. A must go place! Thank you again to the whole team!!!

Very good adress if you fancy lunch in a discrete place near metro Bourse, lovely Italian Osteria in the middle of Paris, great atmosphere , and lovely team . You can even have a private lunch or diner inside a safe like a bank. The Alajmo adress from the Venetian based group is with a visit. Very good food and great wine list

Dopo qualche tempo ho rivissuto questo luogo, immerso nella propria storia dove la cucina è senza ne dubbio ne esitazione un non prusultra tra presente e tradizione.

Grazie allo chef Mattiuzzi alla sua brigata di cucina e sala per un nuovo ricordo indelebile trascorso da voi.

Même si la nourriture y est très bonne, l'ambiance bistro dont les tables hautes sans nappe sont calées avec des bouchons, la vaisselle peu raffinées et le service ne justifient en rien de tels prix. Cela reste pour moi du snobisme car on peut trouver largement aussi bons dans le quartier pour 2 fois moins cher. C'est dommage car le personnel est très gentil mais selon moi on ne peut accepter un tel rapport qualité prix.

The tagliatelle here is a must try! It’s amazing. And the beef with truffles is also great! Generally speaking I’m not a huge fan of Italian food but this resto has surpassed my expectations! Not to mention they’ve got super friendly waiters

Un lieu très particulier, ne vous laissez pas influencé par le décor. La cuisine est exquise, les pâtes un régal, le dessert nous emporté directement en Italie. Le service au petit soin. Une expérience à renouveler.
