Une cuisine assez simple mais les produits sont de qualité. On se fait plaisir. La carte des vins ne nous a pas séduit. Un très joli lieu pour un moment de partage à deux ou plus. La terrasse est parfaite.

Tres décevant et overpriced… franchement pour le prix on s’attend à plus au niveau de la qualité des plats… tout a été très fade malheureusement pour 50€ par personne on s’attend à beaucoup mieux… dommage que les potatoes bravas étaient juste des pommes grenailles découpées en deux avec un peu de mayonnaise sans goût….

Expérience décevante malgré une réservation. Nous étions une table de six, arrivés entre 21h et 22h. On nous installe en terrasse, mais personne ne vient nous voir pendant les 20 premières minutes. Après avoir interpellé un serveur, on finit par recevoir les cartes. Malheureusement, la majorité des vins rouges n’étaient plus disponibles — un samedi soir ! Plusieurs plats manquaient également à l’appel, rendant le choix très limité. Le service était complètement débordé, peu attentif, et l’ambiance générale donnait l’impression d’un restaurant dépassé par son service. Dommage, car le cadre était pourtant prometteur.

Emplacement superbe mais cuisine médiocre (pour des prix exorbitants). On en ressort avec l’impression qu’on se moque du client. Les plats arrivent tièdes, le calamar est épais et caoutchouteux, les patatas bravas sont molles, les croquetas semblables à celles de supermarché. Même si c’était un peu moins cher cela serait quand même se moquer du monde.

An amazing staff in the kitchen and the dining room : really kind and helpful.

Such a cozy Catalan environnement : Hispanic music, food and very romantic !

The restaurants (caché and Amagat are in a villa at a blind alley on the end of a street in the 20th and it is really Hidden as its name emplies : amagat= hidden in Catalan).

What we tried ?????

BOQUERONES AU VINAIGRE
TORTILLA
POISSON DU JOUR AL AJILLO
BOLETS, OU CONFITAT I CEBES

3 words : delicious, smart and creative

The bloquerones : anchovies are beautifully marinated until cooked in olive oil and vinegar

The tortilla is a mystery : perfectly cooked and crispy from the outside but not so much from the inside

The fish was barbecued and served in a special sauce

And the star dish was the bolets : just beautiful : BBQ mushrooms seasoned with sherry, served with a candied egg and white onion purée

Worst service I have ever experienced in my whole entire life. They moved our reservation time 3 TIMES. When we arrived we were asked to wait outside in -1 degree weather and then wait again inside to be seated at 22:20 instead of 21:30. Food was mid, super cold inside had to eat with my coat on and the servers didn’t really care and every person next to us was complaining . Oh also a couple took the liberty to make out every 10 seconds so that made the atmosphere even better !!! Bravo !!!

Fui recomendado y ha sido un acierto. Hemos tenido un trato maravilloso y hemos disfrutado cada plato que nos hemos pedido. La atención es de 10 y nos aconsejaron a la hora de pedir, y ha sido perfecto. El ambiente inmejorable. Repetiríamos. Añado a mis lugares favoritos.

Amagat est l’un de ces endroits que l’on aimerait garder secret. Niché dans une ruelle discrète de Paris, ce lieu fait rayonner la cuisine catalane avec authenticité et caractère. Une grande partie de son essence vient du chef David Reartes, un passionné qui n’a jamais cessé de réinventer les saveurs de sa terre natale. Son parcours est marqué par une quête perpétuelle de qualité, un respect absolu du produit et une énergie créative qui transforme chaque assiette en une expérience unique. Son empreinte est toujours là, donnant à Amagat cette atmosphère sincère, sans artifices, mais pleine d’âme.

As a Spaniard, Amagat is my favorite restaurant in Paris. I honestly feel at home here. The team, the new chef, everything it’s just incredible!!!!! It’s the kind of place I’d come back to every single week.

Nous avions réservé pour le 14 février à 21h, mais nous n’avons reçu nos plats qu’à 23h, et encore, pas tous. Le service était catastrophique : un manque évident de serveurs, un personnel peu professionnel… Nous avons attendu 10 minutes à l’entrée avant que quelqu’un vienne nous voir. Notre commande a été perdue, et après avoir enfin été servis, nous avons recommandé des plats qui ne sont jamais arrivés.

Quant à la carte des vins, elle est inexistante : aucun prix affiché.

C’est vraiment dommage, car la nourriture est excellente et le cadre très agréable. Je n’ai jamais vu un service aussi médiocre.

This was, without a doubt, the worst service experience I’ve ever had. After reading other reviews, it’s clear this isn’t an isolated incident or a “system problem” as the manager tried to explain.

We reserved a table for 21:00, only to receive an email at 19:00 informing us that our reservation was pushed to 21:45. We tried calling for clarification, but no one answered. Despite this, we decided to stay positive and enjoy our Valentine’s night.

We arrived at 21:40 and waited at the door for over 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Even then, it felt like we had to negotiate for a table, as if we hadn’t reserved in advance.

After finally being seated, we placed our order. Thirty minutes later, we received our wine – without a menu or price, as if we were buying something trivial. Shortly after, the waiter returned to inform us that our order was lost and they needed to retake it. Again, we tried to remain positive and enjoy the evening. But 30 minutes later, they informed us that they didn’t have the ingredients for part of our order.

To sum up: the food we eventually received was exceptional, but the service was disastrously bad, completely ruining the overall experience. Shockingly, the staff were more attentive and concerned about calming us (and other frustrated customers) than the owners or managers, who seemed indifferent to the chaos.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place. The poor service overshadowed the quality of the food.

Comme pour beaucoup d’autre “client”, réservation faite pour ce samedi, arrivé sur place le restaurant était privatisé.
Aucune geste ni aide pour trouver un autre endroit nous a été proposé, serveur et manager dédaigneux, limite moqueur.
Bref je ne re-tenterais pas d’y aller dans le futur

Expérience inexistante!
Ayant réservé pour ce samedi 8 février avec confirmation de la réservation reçue par mail, une fois arrivé devant nous nous sommes vus refuser l’entrée du fait que le restaurant était réservé pour un événement privé.
Aucune prise en charge professionnelle et solution proposée.

Nous avions réservé au restaurant Amagat une semaine à l’avance, réservation confirmée par l’établissement. Mais quelle surprise en arrivant sur place : restaurant privatisé, porte close pour nous, et aucune information préalable ! Aucune excuse, aucun geste commercial, rien.

C’est un manque total de professionnalisme et de respect envers les clients. Comment peut-on accepter une réservation pour ensuite la balayer sans prévenir ? Nous avons dû trouver un autre restaurant en dernière minute, ce qui est totalement inacceptable.

Si vous cherchez un endroit fiable pour dîner, évitez Amagat à tout prix. Une gestion aussi désastreuse ne mérite ni votre temps ni votre argent.

Nous avions réservé pour samedi soir à 21h30. Nous sommes arrivés le restaurant était privatisé et personne ne nous avait prévenu. Après avoir du monnayer avec la serveuse pour trouver une solution à 21h30, nous avons finalement été attablé à 22h30 après être restés 1h au bar de Caché. Manque de communication entre les deux restaurants, et la cuisine à fermé une heure après, nous n’avons donc pas pu recommander. La cuisine était médiocre, et des plats ont été annulés sans qu’on nous ai tenu au courant. Cerise sur le gâteau, Amagat rappelle le lendemain pour confirmer une réservation que nous n’avions jamais faite…. Merci à l’équipe de Caché pour les efforts fournis.

Nous avons dîné chez Amagat et avons été très déçus. Une seule serveuse pour toute la salle qui courrait de partout, les assiettes de tapas servies unitairement à 20 minutes d’intervalles alors que commandées en même temps; ce qui contrevient au sens même de partager des assiettes de tapas… J’étais venue il y a 2 ans et avais adoré l’ambiance et la qualité de l’expérience, malheureusement celle-ci n’est plus.

Friendly service but probably on their 1st opening days, so not judging much. Like the vibe and definitely would visit at a later stage. Thanks for the behind-the-bar rum treats!
