Avis Mandarin Oriental, Paris Hotel Paris

Il nostro soggiorno al Mandarine Oriental è stato magnifico. Stanza comoda (tranne che per il letto aggiunto che dovrebbe essere in linea con l'eleganza dell'Hotel). Personale estremamente gentile ed elegante. Ogni nostra richiesta è stata esaudita. Special thanks to Raffaele e Jean del Front Desk che ci hanno coccolato e reso il soggiorno ancor più confortevole. Aggiungo che anche nostra figlia Francesca, seppur in sedia a rotelle non ha incontrato alcuna difficoltà. Magari per il futuro opteremo per una camera più ampia o per due camere comunicanti. Grazie ancora per tutte le attenzioni che ci avete riservato.

Ce lieu est magnifique et convivial , il est très agréable d’y aller avec un très bon accueil de la part du personnel !

Amazing property and supportive staff

Excellent cocktail dejeunatoire avec un personnel au top en particulier Thomas.|Raffinement et qualite était présent des entrées aux desserts en passant par les plats. Service très attentionné. Très belle cour jardin, tres confortable et très bien entretenu à l'abri des bruits de la ville.

I have left a fuller review on the Hotel website naming individuals so I shall rebrief this is a wonderful hotel. The staff are a credit to the hotel , rooms are spotlessly clean. This is a wonderful hotel if you’re coming to Paris, lovely location you won’t be disappointed.

We changed hotel reservations to the Mandarin Oriental Paris at the suggestion of dear friends. That change took our Paris trip from "Memorable" to "Magical". The welcome was flawless. The room comfortable and beautifully appointed, accentuated by the cloud-like bed, Japanese toilet and soaking tub. The Concierge Service, particularly Adrian Moore & Mathilde Szarjryck, arranged life-changing trips to The Louvre, Mont-Saint-Michel, and Normandy, including extremely competent-almost Historian like-guides. Oh...and they arranged for flawless, comfortable transportation. Oh...and when we weren't traveling out of the neighborhood, we walked EVERYWHERE. The Eiffel Tower is a 30-minute walk, as is the Notre Dame. The Louvre 12 minutes. The Park 5 minutes. In Closing: We shall return to Paris, and when we do, we shall return to the Mandarin Oriental. Le Mandarin Oriental, Paris est un incontournable à Paris, tant par la localisation optimale, le restaurant Camelia délicieux et paisible, le spa relaxant, mais aussi et surtout par un service exceptionnel de la part de tout l’hôtel. On s’y sent chez soi !

Wonderful stay! Hotel was centrally located, clean and the staff were amazing! Let me go back to the staff. EVERYONE we came in contact with from The Manager to housekeeping was polite, kind and caring. We can’t wait to return to this beautiful hotel.

e suis venue ce lundi 12 mai en fin d’après-midi pour un massage d’1h30, et ce fut un vrai moment de bonheur. Dès mon arrivée, j’ai été accueillie avec beaucoup de gentillesse et de sourires par le personnel de l’hôtel, tous très attentionnés.

Au spa, l’accueil a été tout aussi chaleureux : une boisson offerte dès l’entrée, et une ambiance relaxante où l’on se sent tout de suite choyé.

Le massage, réalisé par Monica, a été exceptionnel. Elle est non seulement très professionnelle, mais aussi douce, à l’écoute et adorable. Un vrai massage de grande qualité, comme on en rêve !

Cerise sur le gâteau : elle m’a emmené un petit gâteau de la part de l’hôtel pour mon anniversaire. Une délicate attention qui m’a beaucoup touchée.

We had coffee with cakes in the cake shop .. very ordinary and overpriced.. next to us Bottle fall down from windows , it was scary but management even don’t try to visit guests with apologies or some complimentary… unfortunately… definitely service not like in Mandarin out of Paris

Le Mandarin Oriental est un palace digne de sa renommée, c’est vrai, l’hôtel est magnifique et propre, et le personnel professionnel et chaleureux.
Malheureusement, nous ne sommes pas tombés sur l’une de ces pépites.
Nous sommes arrivés un soir entre amis pour siroter un cocktail.
Le personnel aux portes et à la réception nous ont accueillis aux petit soins avec un grand sourire.
Nous nous sommes présentés à l’accueil du bar, une charmante demoiselle nous a guidé à notre table dans le patio (un magnifique jardin extérieur) avec gentillesse, la soirée commençait bien.
Un jeune homme est venu se présenter, et nous a bien conseillé sur les cocktails.
Les cocktails étaient équilibrés, frais et agréables.

Malheureusement, la suite du service est totalement à revoir et absolument pas digne de cet établissement.
Après avoir reçu nos boissons, nous nous sommes aperçus que les tables adjacentes avaient eu la chance de voir accompagner de leurs boissons des petits frichtis, des biscuits apéritifs. Oui d’accord, cela peut être un oubli mais pour le standing de l’hôtel et les attentes cela ne devrait pas du tout se produire.

Étant donné que nous n'avions rien à se mettre sous la dent, nous avons commandé un saladier de frites et une salade césar.
Pour un établissement de luxe et d’excellence, les frites était granuleuse et douteuse d’une congélation?.. La salade était plutôt correcte.
Mais, encore une fois, le service.
- pas de pain ni sel et poivre
- la sauce dans une écuelle à part sans cuillère
- aucune forme de politesse, pas un merci ni un bon appétit.
Finalement nous avons pris la décision de demander du pain. Une fois celui ci arrivé, bonne surprise, le pain était garnis de raisins sec. En revanche, à la dégustation, il s’est avéré pas frais, passé voir sec.

Étant donné l’heure (23h) nous commencions à avoir froid, je pris l’initiative d’interpeller le serveur pour pouvoir activer et profiter du radiant. Celui ci n’avait pas l’air de marcher. Le garçon ne pris même pas la peine de s’excuser ni même nous proposer de changer de table, et finit par partir sans aucun mot?.
Une fois les assiettes terminées, ces dernières sont restées un bon quart d’heure sur la table à nous regarder.
Étant du métier, je trouve honteux que notre garçon ne pris pas la peine de s’occuper de nous, et ne se soit même pas assuré que tout ce passe correctement pendant et après le repas, ni même à la fin au moment de payer.
Sa seule interaction autres que lors de la prise de commande et du règlement, était de nous proposer de re commander avant la fermeture du bar avec nos assiettes vides sous le nez et toujours pas débarrassées.

C’est indigne pour un si bel établissement d’avoir comme service du porteur d’assiette.

Service déplorable .
Petit café matinal à 12 euros , normal vu le lieu .
Le service n’est absolument pas à la hauteur de cette catégorie d’hôtel …
Obligée de réclamer un verre d’eau et un chocolat …
Meilleur service au café du coin …
C’est honteux !

Had an amazing weekend at Mandarin Oriental, Paris.

The hotel is stunning with impeccable service and style. Dinner at Camélia was a highlight — delicious food, great atmosphere, and super friendly staff. Afterward, we grabbed drinks at Le Bar 8, which had an excellent selection and the perfect vibe for a night out in Paris.

Everything we were looking for!

I’ve had an amazing time at the Camelia restaurant. The service was perfect and Chef Dugourd’s pastries were exquisite !

The hotel is beautiful but the staff is what made our trip so enjoyable. Everyone was so kind and helpful especially JJ, Jean, and Alex. The practice of allowing your guests who arrive well before check in time from an overnight flight to stay in a temporary room until their actual room is available is an unbelievable benefit. We were exhausted and needed some sleep which this allowed. The fresh fruit delivered each day was a wonderful treat which we thoroughly enjoyed as well as the little extra surprises like a homemade chocolate Easter bunny really top off the experience. All of the bellmen and concierge staff were extremely helpful and prompt. The location only adds to the experience- within walking distance to many of the sites and of course shopping as well.

Had an incredible experience at the Camelia restaurant! The ambiance was elegant yet relaxed, and every dish was beautifully crafted. Huge thanks to Chef Dugourd and the amazing team for making it truly memorable!

J'ai récemment visité le bar et j'ai passé un excellent moment ! L'ambiance générale est vraiment très cool, détendue et agréable. C'est l'endroit parfait pour se retrouver entre amis.

Un gros point fort est leur terrasse, elle est absolument top ! Idéale pour profiter des beaux jours ou d'une soirée douce.

Et pour ne rien gâcher, les cocktails sont bons et bien préparés.

Je recommande vivement le bar pour une sortie sympa !

I had a really great time at the Camelia restaurant and I specially loved the pastries of Chef Dugourd! Will definitely be returning the next time I’m in town.

J’aime beaucoup cet hôtel leur jardin pour lire un bouquin pour réviser être tranquille en dehors de Paris, le lieu est recommandé pour boire du petit thé et un verre de vin. Allez allez-y les yeux fermés

Fue una experiencia muy buena con toda la familia, mi hijos encantados con la habitación y los desayunos todo excelente para repetir. Los baños se disfrutan al máximo, la bañera y la ducha y todo el material de ducha está exquisito repetiremos segurísimo

I stayed in this location for a week with my family. The location is ideal for an easy walk to major attractions including Louvre, Notre Dame, Musée D’Orsay, the Palace of Concorde etc. I also took a 15 min taxi ride to the Sacre Coeur and 15 min subway ride to Versailles as well. Many fancy shops on the street where the hotel is located. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Everything about the hotel was just fantastic. The price was on the higher side but definitely worth it!!

Personnel très accueillant et chaleureux, service impeccable et disponibilité des équipes. Jeremy et son équipe au bar ainsi que L’équipe du restaurant nous ont permis de passer un moment inoubliable.

So it was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in my life. Location is perfect, right at St Honore. Staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, from the moment we arrive until our check out time. Upon check in we were offered a glass of champagne. The room is a HUGE 38sqm despite just being the superior room, with King sized bed, separate shower and toilet, and his and hers wash basin. Our room oversees Rue St Honore and had the best view in my opinion. We visited during Easter season so we got a surprise Easter bunny shaped chocolate in our room.
We visited the 24/7 gym during off peak hours and was glad to see the full range of equipment. They even had a swimming pool which unfortunately closed after 10pm.
The price point is a bit high but is worth every penny if you could splurge. Would definitely come back when we visit Paris

Absolutely an amazing hotel. All the staff are extremely helpful and attentive. I will definitely return.

I had a really terrible experience staying in the Penthouse Suite. It was such a disappointment. The room was not properly cleaned, even after the day cleaning service. To make matters worse, I had to wait 40 minutes for breakfast, when I was promised it would only take 7-20 minutes. And when my order finally arrived, it was incomplete. They forgot to bring half of the dishes, even though the service provider repeated my order correctly. On top of that, the elevator in the room doesn’t work . I ended up getting stuck in the elevator and had to get out myself because the emergency button didn't work. There was no ventilation in there either. I had to rely on a colleague to call for help, and it took the employee 20 minutes to arrive. To add to my frustration, some of the connectors in the room didn't work. Overall, I am deeply disappointed with the poor service at this hotel. I will definitely not recommend it to anyone. Even though the meeting at the reception was great it unfortunately couldn't change my overall negative impression.

Fantastic hotel. The outstanding part was the level of care and service from the people working there.

Service is helpful and attentive, food is good and wide choice of drinks.
The garden is just lovely.
