I had a GREAT stay

I stayed by myself last week for 6 nights and picked a small room. I thought that the price I paid was appropriate and actually inexpensive considering the great location of the hotel.

The hotel was clean and decorated in a modern way. I also picked this hotel because there was an elevator, I travel with a huge suitcase so I really needed one. It was big enough to fit me and my 50 lbs suitcase.
As you know, rooms in Paris tend to be small. My room was clean and pretty small that if I left my suitcase opened, I wouldn't be able to move around, but I really didn't mind. I appreciated that toiletries were offered, and even more that they were from l'Occitane en Provence. I slept well on the firm mattress, the bedding and towels were pretty nice.
If you choose to get breakfast at the hotel (even though it would be much cheaper for you to pick up something at the local bakery), it's a nice and large assortment of sweet and savory food, nicely presented.
I was surprised by the lack of noise at night. Once I did hear a baby cry in another room, so maybe the walls aren't too thick, but I just turned on a noise cancelling machine. I also love that there was air conditioning and greatly enjoyed returning to a cold room after a full day outdoor.

As a solo female traveler, I was even more careful, so it was a relief for me that you could only go inside the hotel with a room key. I also appreciated the big windows, so that if there was an employee at the desk, he/she would see who walked by. There were times that there wasn't anybody at the desk, but that didn't bother me, because of the key access feature.

I already started to recommend this hotel to friends and family, and will return there in the future.

Moldy. Possible illness in hospital 8 days now| . Moldy mess. I am not sure if that is how I wound up in the hospital but I was in the ICU for four days and I've never had anything like this And I'm telling you that room Reeks of mold And they've been told that over and over and over Please read their reviews on Google Please read them I urge you to read them

This is like many small Parisian hotels. Maybe 30 rooms, decorated with fun stuff from the flea market. Americans who like big rooms won’t like this, but it’s very comfortable quiet nice amenities in the bathroom. And walking distance to Au Pied de Cochon and the Bourse. We will become regulars. Book early because good small hotels sell out fast!

Room smelled terribly due to moldy bathroom THey will deny mold. Also read about the couple who got FOOT FUNGUS... IM TALKING ABOUT LOBBY COFFEE. CHARGES.Location excellent The bed was comfortable. Room appeared clean the bedding was very clean. Due other reviews and some of the feedback from the hotel itself to those reviews I did not try to get my money back or point out the fact that it smelled as bad as it did You could not miss that smell so clearly they know they have an issue. It was also charged 1.50 Euro for the one cup of coffee that I had others mention free coffee machine and that's a big plus to me and it was a big turnoff to me to be charged for a nespresso when a three-night stay cost me $775 US dollars. Expected the room to be small as it is Paris. A+ for the location the staff was very nice I did not have much interaction with them but they were polite. HUGE Turn off on the charge for the coffee. BUT THE DEAL BREAKER IS THE MOLD THAT THEY CONTINUE TO HAVE IN THE BATHROOM.

По перше отель знаходиться у 5 хв від Лувру, по друге працівники рецепції відгукуються на будь яке прохання- дуже милі і привітні. Враження наче ми були вдома у гостях у французів. Також у отелі доступний сніданок з свіжоспеченими круасанами ???? ціна=якість нас все влаштувало

Despite the room being a bit small, they provide a great shower with L’Occitane shampoo, body wash, body lotion and conditioner which I enjoyed a lot. Also very friendly front desk. Free coffee machine btw.

I recently stayed at this hotel for around a week, due to work. The location is in my opinion the greatest benefit: bars, restaurants, boulangeries, metro and train station are close and all within walking distance. My room was nice and cozy: surely very small, but clean and comfortable. The staff was kind, helpful and always availiable for recommendations or help.

Unique stay! Small rooms but still very good value. We love our nice window that we can open with the street view. Rooms are clean. Staff is very welcoming. and professional. Short walking distance to Louvre. Close to public transportation and restaurants.

Great hotel in a quiet location. Easy checkbin and friendly and helpful staff. Offered free hot drinks and filtered water. Nice italian restaurant across the street and cafés nearby. Close to metro as well. Room was small, but had everything we needed. Room was clean with a comfy bed.

Personnel très accueillant et sympathique ! On a eu la possibilité de laisser nos bagages à l'accueil pour la journée (et même pour celle quand nous partions). Chambre propre et un bon petit déjeuner. Un très bon séjour d'une nuit !

Personnel et responsable qui n’ont eu aucune considération ni sens du commerce pour palier à notre situation compliquée (blocus aéroportuaire). Aucune compréhension ni arrangement commercial proposé (avoir pour séjour à date ultérieure).

Concernant l’hôtel, la moitié du groupe qui a pu partir, ont trouvé un hôtel impersonnel fade et pas à leur goût.

Real estate in Paris is expensive, so rooms at a reasonably priced hotel near the Louvre, Palais Royal and transportation are going to be small, but the shower was roomy, the noise was minimal, there was an elevator (which you don't always think of until you need to carry a suitcase), and luggage storage.

Really enjoyed staying at this quirky hotel in an excellent location. My room was on the small side but clean and very comfortable. The coffee machine and fruit bowl downstairs were a definite plus. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The decoration was fun although some of the paint work in my room could be refreshed.

Mon séjour à l'hôtel a été un mélange d'expériences positives et négatives. Malheureusement, la chambre était assez petite et la douche fuyait. Dans la salle de bain, il manquait des commodités de base comme un verre pour la brosse à dents. En raison de la petite taille de la salle de bain, il n'était pas possible d'accrocher la serviette de bain. De plus, il y avait beaucoup de bruits de couloir, on pouvait entendre l'ascenseur sonner et les clients passer dans les couloirs. Cela nuisait à l'intimité. L'armoire était très petite. Il n'était possible d'ouvrir la valise que sur le lit.

Le personnel n'était malheureusement pas toujours aimable. L'ascenseur était également petit et il y avait peu de place pour les bagages. Il y a également eu un incident avec l'alarme incendie, pour lequel nous n'avons reçu aucune excuse. Un petit réfrigérateur aurait été utile.

Du côté positif, l'hôtel était bien situé et le lit était grand et confortable. La propreté était correcte.

L'hôtel Crayon dispose d'un personnel formidable, d'un emplacement idéal et c'est l'un des hôtels les plus propres dans lesquels j'ai séjourné. Le shampoing, les lotions, les draps étaient excellents. Je recommande vivement de prendre l'excellent petit déjeuner.

J'ai adoré ce petit hôtel. Le personnel est très sympathique, il y a un petit coin pour le petit déjeuner et les chambres sont uniques. La chambre comporte des dessins de plusieurs voyageurs et c'est une expérience intéressante.

Superbe petit hôtel de charme ! Très bien situé, à proximité de nombreux restaurants et attractions. Le petit déjeuner est parfait pour commencer la journée ! Les chambres ne sont pas 5 étoiles de luxe mais c'est juste ce dont vous avez besoin !
