AC is not worth it and neither is Lydia at the front desk, whom insists that if there is a problem with the hotel accommodations and the hotel equipment, it is a cancelation in your part and will not tell the manager, even AFTER IHG CUSTOMER SERVICE was contacted. that there is an issue. The hotel manager was a great person, understood that what happened to us, should not have happened.
Hotel is in a great area, not too far from the city center, even by walking.
Room Conditions:
The room was uncomfortably hot, with temperatures between 25–30°C. The air conditioning unit only blew warm air and did not cool the room. From 4 a.m. to 1 a.m., the room consistently felt hotter than the street, lobby, or hallway. Cold baths were the only way to cool down before going to bed and after waking up.
Overall:
Other than the heat issue, it’s a great location—close to Sacré-Cœur and surrounded by many good restaurants.
To start with, the room was unbearably hot during the night, and we couldn't sleep at all. The air conditioning wasn’t working, and there was no alternative solution offered. This made our stay extremely uncomfortable, especially with young children who need proper rest.
Things only got more frustrating during breakfast. My wife and I went down to eat while our kids were still sleeping in the room. We asked if we could take a couple of croissants back up for them — just a small gesture for sleeping children — and were told flatly that it wasn’t allowed. After explaining the situation, the staff member finally offered to bring food upstairs herself, but still insisted we couldn’t take it ourselves, which made no sense.
When we did take a few croissants and some butter for the kids, we were stopped again. We had taken three croissants and three butter packets — one for each child — and were told we could only have one butter! When I asked why there were so many petty restrictions, the staff member reluctantly gave us one more. Honestly, it was laughable. The rigidity and lack of empathy were shocking, especially in a city like Paris where hospitality is supposed to matter.
Overall, this hotel lacks both comfort and basic courtesy. Between the sweltering, sleepless nights and the oddly strict and unwelcoming breakfast rules, we will definitely not be returning. Not recommended for families.
Exceptional staff!
Quiet!
Tired hotel but the above outway a perfect spot to lay your head!
Great value for money!
Location location location
The staff make a hotel and the staff here were always pleasant, helpful and smiling. Management always seemed to be nearby and checking on guests, which makes a guest feel good.
Special thanks to Audre in the breakfast service, she was smiling every morning and so pleasant, also, thanks to Abdelhak who assisted with any questions and was always responsive.
When we are next in the area we will definitely be here again!
The promised baked beans on the breakfast never did appear ????
Thank you so much.
over all the stay was quite and pleasant, badal on reception was polite and informative, we had the top floor executive room with TV , kettle, Nespresso coffee machine and small ftidge the.
the little bar and breakfast areas were clean and tidy. I would have given it 5 stars but a couple of things spoiled it, upon arriving in the room, unpacking our things we found a used bathrobe with a baseball cap wrapped up in it stuffed into the wardrobe, and a couple of days later I found a pair of socks rolled up in the corner, so obviously to room hadn't been checked properly before we were allocated the it. Although it's all you can eat, I thought the breakfast was a little pricey for what was on offer, €10 for express breakfast, cereals, pastries and coffee etc or €20 for the full breakfast as above but with meats and cheeses, fruit, vegetables, bacon, sausage and eggs cooked in various ways. These 2 things in no way impacted our enjoyment during our stay, As I mentioned above there are plenty of local eateries close by,
If we ever visit Paris again it would be high on the list to be considered
Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.
