This has been an excellent, place to stay. The staff are polite and helpful in every way. I have only one complaint which is that it was dusty around the beds .
However if the design was different then it would ???? not be a problem. Overall perfect ???? place to stay .

The reception staff is totally the best. Kind, welcoming, helpful and professional . The location is to die for. Am definitely coming back again.

Una excelente opción para quién viaja a hostal por primera vez. Las cortinas en las camas te dan privacidad y te dan la sensación de estar durmiendo en un tren o un barco. Las camas - yo les llamaría camarotes - son cómodas y el lugar muy limpio. El personal es amable, atento y relajado. Ojo, los camarotes están en litera y sí son algo altas, si no eres muy hábil - o te gusta salir de copas - es mejor pedir la litera de abajo al momento de reservar. Algo retirado de las zonas turísticas pero en un gran barrio.

Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

We got very sick not clean even if apparence photos show you a wrong image. In a word AVOID

They messed up my check in and accidentally put me in a private room. At 3:30 AM, the girls of the room returned and brought the man at the front desk to wake me up, but he would not believe the hostel made a mistake until an hour later, at 4:30 am, when he finally put me in the right room.
UPDATE: I received a sincere apology from the manager the next day for the situation.

Everything was great, great modern hotel. I liked the way you could open the door and the safe with your phone via the app.

WiFi barely working and no phone signal in the room due to heavy concrete. All new and rather clean but soulless. The receptionist very rude and seemingly unaware of the concept of customer service. The digital lock on the room locker not working. Left after one night although paid for more.

Really nice and modern hostel to stay at. Staff is really friendly, rooms are being cleaned everyday and there is public transportation nearby. I can only recommend going there :)

Les plus : l'accueil efficace et chaleureux. La propreté des lieux. La qualité du mobilier et couchage. La réalité des chambres par rapport aux photos. Les rideaux, la lampe d'appoint et la prise pour chaque lit.
Les moins: les casiers qui bipent fort.

Super clean and amazing staff

I stayed at this hostel, and honestly, it was a great experience! Everything was super clean, including the facilities and bathrooms, which made my stay very comfortable. The receptionist was 10/10—always attentive, super friendly, and ready to help. The breakfast was also really good and had plenty of options for all tastes. I’d definitely stay here again.

J'ai passé une nuit en dortoir, c'était très propre, moderne, parfaitement fonctionnel, et les gens étaient très respectueux. Le prix est très correct pour la prestation, je reviendrai probablement lorsque j'en aurai besoin.

UPDATE: The hostel owner’s response misses the point entirely. A staff member should NEVER insert themselves into a guest dispute or share a guest’s private information without consent. Daniel is the only person who had access to my social media details and who shared them with another guest. This continued for a few weeks after my checkout, escalating a personal conflict I had with the other guest.

The owner claims Daniel “did not intentionally breach any privacy or overstep boundaries,” but that doesn’t align with the facts. If his intentions were harmless, why was my private information shared repeatedly after checkout? Why didn’t he simply tell the other guest to contact me directly? Basic professional boundaries should have been maintained from the start.

The owner also mentioned that staff “always aim to maintain professionalism,” but my experience suggests otherwise. This issue isn’t about personal feelings—it’s about a lack of professionalism and a breach of privacy. The dismissive tone of the owner’s response ("sorry that you feel this way”) does not address the core issue: how guest privacy, professional boundaries, and guest relations were mishandled.

Had the staff been properly trained to maintain boundaries, respect guest privacy, and handle disputes professionally, this situation could have been avoided. I’m deeply disappointed, and as an avid traveler, I cannot recommend this hostel to others. I suggest finding a place that takes guest concerns seriously and holds staff accountable for their actions.

During my stay, I had a dispute with another guest. This should have never turned into a bigger problem, but the staff member at the hostel, Daniel, appeared to take sides and inserted himself into the situation. After I left, I found out that he shared my private social media information WITHOUT my consent with the guest I had issues with. This is a serious breach of privacy and a failure on the staff’s part to maintain professional boundaries. Staff should not disclose a guest’s personal information, and they should be trained to respond with a firm, “No, I can’t share that.”

As a frequent traveler who stayed for over a week at this hostel, I would have considered returning if this had not happened. It’s disappointing to see a paying customer lost over a lack of professional boundaries. I hope management addresses this issue and ensures staff respect guest privacy and maintain professional boundaries moving forward.

For those considering staying here, I’d recommend choosing a hostel closer to the main attractions, where hopefully both the staff and guest experience are better.

Unfortunately, i ate something on a previous flight and ended up throwing up in the basement of the hostel upon arrival. However, the receptionist was very kind/understanding and assisted in cleaning up the mess. I loved the hostel, how clean it was, the drinking water by the front desk, and the little curtain for improved privacy.

This hostel is perfect. Rooms are clean and fresh with private bathroom facilities. The staff are so welcoming. The locations is good as it is in a safe area and not far from a few metro stations. Breakfast was excellent and the cafe is fantastic for a drink with a large communal area. I will definitely return.

Horrible location. Caroline at front desk took 30 minutes to find parking for a another guest while there was a queue of people waiting to Check in. When I said something she was very rude and kept searching for parking lots outside of establishment. There was mold everywhere, no Kitchen. I do not recommend. Never again.

Can not recommend this hostel. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and it's nice that each shared room has their own private bathroom but that doesn't balance out the excessive mold everywhere. First of all you have to wonder how it could get this bad, there's mold on the ceiling of the common room, mold around the windows right inside the bedroom, mold on the doorframe, mold in the showers, even directly on the showerheads, which I could scrub of a bit with my bear hands, because I was desperate to shower anyways. Even though the hostel looks very new there might be some structural defects of the building itself paired with a lack of thorough cleaning is my best guess. But what might be even worse is that the hostel itself is aware of this but does not disclose this information anywhere. At the end of the day the management is putting peoples health at risk while still charging full price for all I know. This ain't it.

One of the best stays in Paris. The staff was nice. The room was well designed esp the shower/toilet and the sliding door that separates them fr the room. My only comment was it didnt have a place to hang your winter coat- it would have been the perfect place. Grateful for putting the right heating temp of the room whilst Paris is on glacial temp. The common areas can be enjoyed by all, can facilitate socialization and offer a better rest while waiting for the check in time. Was also lucky that the people I was with in the room were very respectful and observant of unwritten hostel rules at night time ie didnt make any noise at all after 10pm.

Warning! Bedbugs present in the hostel!

After my first night staying at the Beau M Hostel, I woke up to a bedbug on my bed's privacy curtain. After squeezing it, the bedbug burst into a big red spot which I believe was mine or my roommate's blood. I informed one of the members of staff about this, worrying about a possible bug infestation but the employee said that it's fine unless another bug is spotted. The following late evening, I noticed a bedbug again, this time on my bedsheet! Upon informing the staff again, I was left with no other option but to either sleep in that same bed, or stay at reception overnight. The employee explained that a refund will be issued to me, however this can only be done by a manager and they will not be there until the next morning. As a result of this, I was placed on the reception's couch awaiting for the manager to come in the morning to speak about my situation. The next morning, I was informed that the manager will arrive at the accommodation at 9am. I waited until 10am with no sight of the manager... However, another employee was actually able to provide me with a refund, although a different employee told me that they cannot refund me without a manager? Overall, the entire situation regarding the bedbugs has been handled very poorly by the hostel. Bedbugs can be a serious to risk to people's health if left unchecked. However, the handling by both the employees and by the manager, claiming that there was no evidence of presence of bedbugs in the bed, is just appalling. As a result of these circumstances, I was forced to prematurely end my trip to Paris, and to adjust my overall trip due to the risk of spreading bedbugs in case they enter a persons belongings. Unfortunately, once again, the management didn't seem to care too much considering the lack of response to my email to them regarding this situation.
