We stayed here for 48 hours and we are initially booked a twin room and were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to an apartment with a kitchenette. It was wonderful staff were polite. Hotel and room was immaculately clean bed was really comfortable. Amenities were perfect very surprising stay and a gemma for boutique hotel Would highly recommend great location

Very good hotel, artfully appointed, lovely staff - very helpful, efficient and friendly. The room was very small but clean and the bed comfortable. It is well located in the Montmartre neighbourhood with great restaurants and cafés around it. We only stayed overnight so didn't take advantage of what else it has to offer but staff were available to help. They sent out a pre-stay survey to capture our needs and interests which was helpful. Would recommend.

Es war eine wunderschöne Zeit in Paris auch Dank diesem gemütlichen Hotel mit sehr freundlichen , hilfsbereiten Mitarbeitern, super Frühstück und einer tollen Lage im Stadtteil Montmartre.

Lovely little hotel with character in excellent location in quiet backstreet near Montmartre. Room was a little cramped but with lovely big comfy bed. Would go back next time we are in Paris.

Excellent hotel in a great location. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything i needed. Decorated to a high standard. ||||The location is excellent for Montmartre and Pigalle with a Metro station within 5 mins walk and loads of cafes, bakeries and restaurants. ||||The receptionist was very friendly (sorry I've forgotten his name) but he made the stay more enjoyable. ||||I would 100% recommend this hotel.

Schönes, sauberes und gemütliches Hotel in Montmartre, nahe Sacrè Coeur. Nette Angestellte an der Rezeption und beim Frühstück.
Frühstück bietet alles was es am morgen braucht.
Geschnittene Früchte dürfen etwas mehr nachgefüllt werden. Zimmer dürften etwas aufmerksamer gereinigt und gemacht werden. Angestellte bitte den Flur nicht besetzen und versprerren, wie auch den Lift nicht zu lange blockieren.

Pięknie położony hotel w ciekawej dzielnicy artystycznej Paryża. Niestety nasz pokój nr 40 bardzo słaby. Tak mały że dwie osoby miały problem żeby się minąć. Brak minilodówki. Widok z 1 małego okna na patio z brudnymi balkonami i odrapanymi ścianami. Prosiliśmy o pokój z widokiem na miasto a dostaliśmy bez widoku. Poza tym okno było przy samym łóżku więc nawet nie dało się w pełni otworzyć. Śniadania smaczne ale bardzo mało urozmaicone. Nie wróciłabym do tego hotelu a na pewno do tego pokoju.

As a female traveling solo, I felt extremely safe in this area and at this hotel.||The hotel was modern, clean and the staff were extremely friendly. I requested a room with a balcony with a view of the Eiffel Tower and when I checked in, that room was available. It was the perfect view!||I walked to the Montmartre square multiple times without any hassle. There are many cafes and plenty of shopping right near the hotel.||I definitely recommend this hotel if you’d like to stay near Montmartre.

Hôtel idéalement situé au cœur de Montmartre, offrant un emplacement privilégié pour découvrir ce quartier emblématique de Paris. La chambre était particulièrement agréable, avec une literie d’excellente qualité, à la fois confortable et propice au repos. Le petit-déjeuner, composé de produits locaux, était savoureux et bien apprécié. Le thème littéraire qui imprègne l’établissement apporte une touche originale et culturelle, créant une atmosphère chaleureuse et inspirante. Merci pour le petit clin d'œil gustatif à l'arrivée.

Abbiamo alloggiato in questo hotel con due bimbi in un appartamento, pulito, molto silenzioso e spazioso, comodissima l'entrata indipendente. Abbiamo usufruito anche della colazione, molta scelta sia dolce che salata. Se siete amanti dei libri è il posto giusto, in ogni sala sono disponibili vari libri da sfogliare, sia per grandi che per piccini. L'hotel è in una posizione centrale in zona Montmartre, in pochi minuti si raggiunge la metro, mentre a piedi si arriva velocemente nelle vie più conosciute delle zona.

A beautiful hotel with kind and helpful staff in Montmartre! The room was on the smaller side but were clean and felt cozy. Great location and not too far away from the metrostation. If I am going to Paris I would definetly consider staying at this hotel again.

L’emplacement est idéal, dans une rue calme, à 5 min à pieds de la place du tertre, et à 5 min de la station de métro Abbesses. Élégamment décorées, les chambres sont spacieuses et très propres. Le personnel est très accueillant et serviable. Et les petits déjeuners étaient très complets ( du salé, du sucré, des fruits secs…) et en quantité suffisante. Une très bonne adresse à conserver !!

Great little hotel located in Montmartre. We booked the cheapest room and requested a higher floor. We have a slight view of the sacre coure & the balcony is magnificent. You can sit out there or just open the door and hear the neighbourhood. At night we have heard no sounds. Room is small but well renovated and clean with Nespresso machine/coffee pods, sugar, cream and tea. Front desk was very pleasant & greets us every time we enter the building. Would definitely recommend.

REVIEW FOR MARCEL AYME HOTEL MONTMARTRE.

THE STAFF WERE GOOD AND THE QUALITY OF THE BREAKFAST AND THE QUALITY OF THE BEDDING, TOWELS ETC WAS GOOD BUT I HAVE GIVEN A ONE STAR REVIEW BECAUSE THE ROOM WAS NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE - TINY ! THE SEPARATE TOILET, WITHOUT A SINK IN, WAS A TINY 'BOX' THAT THE TOILET BARELY FITTED IN AND WAS NOT SUFFICIENT AS NO ROOM TO STAND UP OR BEND OVER WITHOUT BANGING INTO THE DOOR OR SIDES. I AM SLIM BUT MY HEAD, LEGS AND ARMS BANGED AGAINST THE DOOR AND SIDES. THE TINY BOX BATHROOM WAS THE SAME. THE PHOTOS OBVIOUSLY TAKEN WITH A WIDE ANGLE LENS ,THEY WERE DECEPTIVE AND THE DESCRIPTION WAS NOT CLEAR. I HAVE BEEN TO MANY BEST WESTERN HOTELS AND THIS IS ONE WAS UNACCEPTABLE. WE HAD ROOM 35 AND WE HAD EVEN PAID MORE FOR A SUPERIOR ROOM SO THIS WAS EVEN MORE DISAPPOINTING!

We stayed here one night after a 2-1/2 week trek around France, including an earlier 6 nights in Paris. Like most city hotels, the rooms at Hotel Littéraire Marcel Ayme are small, but ours was nicely appointed and located. The bed was the most comfortable we had on our travels; the bathroom and shower were beautiful and functional, the view was sweet, the closet was large, and I appreciated getting to read the small novel by Marcel Ayme left for guests in the room. This was only an overnight before we flew out, but I’d book here again.

Great location - the area is complemented by restaurants, bars and cafés. The hotel staff are friendly and warm. The rooms are spotless clean and meet your every need. If there is something you don't have in the room just ask and the staff will accommodate you. All round a lovely stay for me and my family. I would definitely stay there again.

Just wrapped up a 5-night stay with my wife and four kids (ranging in age from 2 through 15). We had two rooms in close proximity to each other. We had a great experience. The staff were very helpful and kind. The rooms were very clean (a very big thanks to the cleaning crew who did a wonderful job and probably get very little recognition). The neighborhood is amazing. If we get to go back to Paris again, this will be our go-to hotel.

Fantastic location in monmartre near superb restaurants and basilica. We stayed in the apartment which was very comfortable and spacious for 3 people. Apartment is beautifully decorated and clean. Only minor criticisms are the microwave and fridge detract slightly from the lovely decor. Also, the door to bathroom is a bit odd and doesn’t give complete privacy but overall I would highly recommend this hotel and location. Staff were very friendly and helpful too.

Leuk charmant hotel op een ideale locatie. Keurige kamers, iets kleiner dan verwacht maar echt prima. Ontbijt ook dik in orde. Het brandalarm werk ook naar behoren, hebben we ontdekt ;-)

I loved this hotel! It was quirky and a really good mix of a beautiful old building with modern convenience. I had a standard room, which was small but well-equipped. Lovely bathroom with a view of the Eiffel Tower! Great breakfast - a very wide selection, including cooked options, fruit, cheese, pancakes. The staff were warm and welcoming and helpful. Great location - on a quiet street with some interesting independent shops nearby.
