We tried 3 different starters, all of them were really good.
For the main course I had the duck with potatoes, which I can also highly recommend.
The chocolate cake as desert was delicious.
The waiters were friendly and quick.
Overall, a great restaurant with really fair prices (especially also on their drinks), but because a lot of people think the same way, I'd recommend to make a reservation in advance to skip the queue.
This spot was hyped up as a great place to try "good" french food for budget prices. The budget prices are very true but calling it good food would be an over statement. I would compare this spot to mediocre diner food in the states. Think of it as the Dennys of French cuisine. Although I've most certainly had a better steak at Denny's lol. If you're drunk and want French food and continue to drink for extremely cheap prices then this the perfect spot. If you're looking to sample French cuisine and don't want to break the bank there's better places for a few more Euros.
The service was good if you're a New Yorker like me and love things fast but they will literally take dishes off the table before you even finish them. I can only assume there's a buffet of dishes ready to go in the back because everything comes out mere minutes after ordering. Overall I was not impressed but for the price it's hard to be too upset. I guess wasting my time is the biggest complaint I have. I think my biggest complaint is making a reservation for what was ridiculous mediocre food. Spend your time elsewhere if It's limited and don't wait inline for this place.
Onion Soup was not good.
Snails we're decent.
Foie gras was ok for the price why not?
Fish was horrible.
Steak was meh.
Fries good.
Wine for the price is great.
Just go somewhere else!
Sagar was super nice to us!
The food is great and super cheap!
Highly recommend this place!
