Service was very good and they had no issue with returning my coq au vin.
With so many outstanding restaurants in Paris, I regret wasting one of my dinners at this restaurant. If you are a chicken fanatic then you might consider this restaurant otherwise….
The restaurant is on the expensive side (one should expect approx. 50€ per person) but the food and the environment make up for it + if you know how much thought and preparation goes to prepping the chicken, you'll understand the pricing makes sense.
A perfect place for a cute date in a pretty place.
As usual, the staff is friendly, patient, and the food is as always, amazing, got 1 of each kind of birds and it was so good. This restaurant is always a must go whenever I am in Paris.
Felt like a tourist trap.
Booked online and had to confirm the reservation several times. "are you sure you want to come?"
In addition it is not a feelgood initiation to a "customer / restaurant" relationship to have the "threat" of 140 Euro non-appearance fee hanging over your head. Especially when we arrive, the restaurant is far from full.
Secondly, the prices. 8 (!) Euro for a 0.33 l coke and 5 (!) Euro for a bottle of tap water (even if you have the most expensive high tech filtration system in the world) is obscene.
We expected more from a chicken when that is the main theme of the restaurant. I would have expected it to fall of the bone, be juicy and tender. It was quite the opposite. Dry, meat sticking to the bone and most of the skin was soggy. Felt like it was reheated in a microwave.
You may say... well that is what it is like eating an old hen... if so I would rather have a young one. The taste of the meat was not over and beyond what you get elsewhere.
It has to be mentioned though that the sauce was very nice and so was the vegetables. French Fries had a good seasoning, but very unevenly cooked - some soggy and some overcooked, but overall ok.
Finally, why place 3 sets of people (pairs) next to each other when the restaurant is 1/4 full? Wanting to have an intimate dinner with couples on either side within 30 cm is annoying.

An all around excellent experience. Delicious food and great service. The price is a little higher than I would like to pay, but such is life ???? We will absolutely return!!
