Avis HÔTEL SQUARE Paris

Nous avons récemment séjourné à l’Hôtel Square Paris 16 et avons été très déçus. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons eu des difficultés à trouver le parking. En appelant la réception, on nous a répondu sèchement : « Alors c’est 35€ par jour, donc est-ce que ça vous intéresse vraiment ? », alors que nous demandions simplement l’adresse, et que le parking était inclus dans notre réservation.

Les indications étaient confuses, et un réceptionniste plus courtois a dû venir nous guider.

Malheureusement, l’accueil général est resté froid, et le réceptionniste de nuit s’est montré particulièrement hautain, dévisageant mon mari.

L’hôtel ne correspond en rien à un 5 étoiles : odeurs désagréables, mobilier abîmé, propreté discutable (tache sur le lit), et prestations très limitées. L’accès au parking est mal organisé et contraignant.

Un séjour décevant, indigne du standing annoncé.

Este hotel está bien ubicado su personal muy amable pero lamentablemente no cumple con los standards de 5 estrellas , almohadas súper apermasadas y malas , Limpieza regular de la habitación que tenía un hermoso baño de mármol pero faltaba un medio vidrio para evitar saliese el agua al suelo , gran detalle que deberían tomar en cuenta , recepción muy amables pero el aseo de las habitaciones podría ser mejor

La chambre est tres bien et tres agreable mais la douche n'est VRAIMENT pas pratique a utiliser.||Very nice room and hotel, clean and nice bathroom with separate toilets but the shower is really not easy to use, especially if you're tall.||Still a nice hotel beside this.

Ein modernes elegantes Boutique Hotel und freundlichem und kompetenten Personal in einer guten Lage… nur wenige Meter von der Seine und nur einem Kilometer vom Eiffel-Turm entfernt. Dazu die sichere Tiefgarage die nur mit Hilfe des Personals betreten werden kann.

Très belle chambre, service de bagagerie efficace, RAS! La salle de bain est superbe.

Tout est parfait, l’accueil, le service, le lieu avec un emplacement stratégique et Godefroid toujours aux petits soins pour ses clients !|Je me rends très souvent à Paris et cet hôtel correspondant parfaitement à mes souhaits et besoins.|Je suis très satisfait depuis plusieurs années, le niveau est toujours excellent |À conseiller fortement

We had a wonderful time at this hotel with my wife. Staff was very professional, and we were blessed with an upgrade upon arrival, which was really appreciated. We certainly be coming back here when in Paris !

The room was big and clean.Service was excellent.my wife and I liked the breakfast and all the ambience. The hotel is closed to commercial center beaugrenelle where we enjoined shopping at galleries Lafayette and unicorn.there is also a cinema theater and some good restaurant.metro her is not far and there is taxi station nearby.we are frequent guests in this excellent hotel and coming soon on April.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at The Square. The reception staff as well as the bellman were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was clean and we slept very comfortably. The hotel is situated close to all tourist areas. We highly recommend this hotel!

La atención a todos mis invitados fue excelente, las instalaciones y todo lo recibido cumplió con expectativas, no se recibieron quejas del grupo de invitados y todos se sintieron confortables con la atención recibida, gracias por la atención de todas las personas del equipo de Square, solo una recomendación deben revisar el tipo de cajilla de seguridad no funcionan y son difíciles de manejar

Stay FAR AWAY from this scam hotel!

I booked a room at this hotel in Paris, but they refused to accept payment via 3D Secure and insisted that I transfer the money manually—an inconvenient and highly suspicious requirement. Because of this, I decided to book another hotel for my weekend stay.

To my absolute shock, I later discovered that they charged me anyway! I never visited their hotel, never confirmed my stay, and they explicitly told me that they couldn’t process payments any other way than a manual transfer.

I have sent multiple emails demanding an explanation and a refund, but they are completely ignoring me. This is blatant fraud!

Avoid this place at all costs – they will steal your money and disappear!

Chambres spacieuses et confortables avec toutes les commodités. La salle de bain en marbre est très belle. Le personnel est très sympathique.||Le petit-déjeuner est également fortement recommandé. Les madeleines sont délicieuses. Tres bon!

Nice place to stay and great value, room service are remarkably perfect, I got my room cleaned and arranged in daily bases, the hotel was cosy and front desk did their best to help and answer all my questions.

Hôtel loin du standing d un 5 étoiles.( Quand on compare avec le relai SPA Nuxe de Chessy , il y a une énorme différence de service , de standing).J aime faire le tour des hôtels / spa Nuxe... Et celui ci est une déception... Le petit déjeuner est fade avec des produits grossiers ...
La chambre quant à elle est très bien entretenue et belle. Je ne reviendrai pas que ce soit pour l expérience SPA ou l hôtel en lui même...

Mieux avant, il semblerait que l'hôtel fasse également hôtel social depuis quelque temps.

Je n'ai fait que le spa, c'est un moment cocooning merveilleux. Allez vous faire masser, que du plaisir.

Das Hotel ist durch seine Lage und dem dazugehörigen Parkhaus absolut Top.
Ich war anfangs eher skeptisch, da ich in Paris eher ein traditionelles älteres Hotel gesucht hatte.
Mit etwas mehr Budget war die Suite absolut preislich top und zu empfehlen.
Der Concierge Aminda war an Freundlichkeit nicht zu überbieten und hat uns rum um glücklich gemacht.
Das das Auto im Parkhaus nur mit einer kleinen Info an der Rezeption zugänglich war… empfand ich aus Sicherheitsgründen sehr positiv… vor allem in Paris.

A deux pas de la Maison de la radio cette hotel est incroyable. Merci à Aminda pour son accueil et gentillesse pendant mon passage. La suite était très belle avec un calme serein. Merci à toute l'équipe qui est super.

J'ai été à l'hôtel pour un weekend. Le service était toujours présents si besoin. L'ensemble de l'hôtel était très bien entretenu et le spa était très bien. Le seul point négatif serait le métro qui est à 10 minutes à pieds mais au moins ça force à marcher !

Loin d’être digne d’un 5 étoiles !
À mon arrivée dimanche soir, après un long vol, j'ai été accueillie à l'hôtel par le concierge/réceptionniste. Malheureusement, il m’a fait des propositions inappropriées, me suggérant de prendre un verre avec lui à un autre moment et insinuant qu'il était là si je souhaitais "me défouler". De plus, en montant mon bagage, il a eu un geste déplacé en me caressant la taille, ce qui a été particulièrement angoissant pour moi, étant une femme voyageant seule.

Concernant les services, le petit déjeuner ne correspondait pas du tout à mes attentes et n'était pas du tout à la hauteur. Par ailleurs, la carte du room service n'était pas à jour, et le pauvre employé, seul, a dû monter les trois étages à pied avec un lourd plateau, car il ne pouvait pas utiliser l'ascenseur car n’avait pas le droit. Il était visiblement épuisé, et j’ai ressenti de la compassion pour lui, de devoir supporter cette charge de travail seul.
Cependant l’emplacement et la chambre sont plutôt bien.

Beautiful hotel, rooms were nicely appointed and provided everything you could need. Room service was limited and the breakfast offering is not worth €35. Eat elsewhere. |Great location for visiting the city.|The best part about this hotel were Katia and Amindar, both who went above and beyond to make my stay wonderful. I cannot thank them enough for their attention and kindness.

We were very unsatisfied with our recent stay at Hotel Square. First off, this hotel has no business being a 5 star and I am genuinely concerned for whoever rated this as a 5 star property. You can tell that the rooms are old and but have just been renovated in the last few years. This property is 3.5 stars at best, and even that’s pushing it. I’ve stayed at 3 star hotels that were nicer and cleaner than this.

We arrived at around 10 PM to check in and the evening concierge staff was very helpful. Upon checking in to our room however, we were met with an extremely heavy smoke smell. It had been evident that the previous guest had been smoking in this room despite the no smoking policy. We brought this up to the staff and he was able to switch us to another room right away. This room still had a smell of cigarettes, but it wasn’t as bad as the first room. We were very tired and decided to just turn in for the night.

After going to our new room, we realized that we had left some personal belongings in the previous room and contacted concierge to meet us there to retrieve it. When I searched the room and bathroom and could not find the item. I told the staff member that it was a portable charger, upon which he quickly went into the bathroom and came out with it in his hand, stating that it was on the bathroom counter. It was pretty obvious that he had stashed it in his pocket as I had just been in the bathroom 10 seconds earlier and would’ve noticed it if it was on the counter. Regardless, I was glad to have it back so didn’t make a big deal out of it but it was still pretty sketchy.

The rooms were old, dirty and smelled like cigarettes, despite the renovations done in an attempt to make it look more modern. The shower situation in the bathroom was extremely confusing, as there were no shower curtains or barriers dividing it from the rest of the bathroom, so when you take a shower the entire bathroom basically gets flooded.

We hung the Do Not Disturb sign on our door throughout our stay as we did not require housekeeping services, yet we returned to our room after our first day out and noticed that someone had been inside our room. Housekeeping wasn’t done but someone had clearly gone through our belongings. Thankfully nothing was missing as I had locked away all of our valuables. While we were resting in our room, someone unlocked and entered our room without knocking. When he realized that we were in our room, he looked surprised and asked if we needed housekeeping. It was 5 PM and the DND sign was still on the door. I’ve never stayed at any hotel where the staff just comes into your room unannounced and without knocking. Absolutely no privacy, what if I had just come out of the shower?

The elevators are activated by motion sensors so there are no physical buttons. While this may seem cool at first, it’s an inconvenient gimmick as there were multiple times where our elevator stopped at every floor simply because somebody had walked by in the hallway. There was one incident where we were stuck on a specific floor because the sensor kept picking up the housekeeping staff that was in the hallway, and there is no close door button inside the elevator to prevent this from happening.

Upon checking out, we were charged a “city tax” that hadn’t been disclosed. It was €7.50 per night, for a total of €22.50 for the duration of our stay. A quick Google search will tell you that this tax should only be €3.75 for a “5 star” property. When questioning the staff member about this, he was rude and didn’t have any answers.

The only saving grace for this hotel is that it’s located in a convenient spot, we were able to walk to the Eiffel Tower and there are lots of good restaurants close by. The staff were also friendly for the most part.

Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel as you can easily stay at a 3 or 4 star hotel that is comparable for a cheaper nightly rate.

i've stayed at a lot of 5* hotels around the world. the standards are always a lot lower in european capital cities, so my expectations were accordingly lower when i checked in. sadly, my low expectations were not met. just one of dozens of fall-short examples: the bathroom is a death trap. it's so unsafe that the hotel would likely be shut down if it were in the usa. every time i got in/out of the shower/tub combo, i was taking my life in my hands, because the design involved water being sprayed all over the marble surfaces, none of which had any hand rails, or anything else to grip while clambering over the ( tall and covered in water / slippery stone ) wall of the tub. again: that's just one example. as far as i can tell, customer-focused engineers were not involved in building the place at any stage.

الفندق لايستحق ابدا ٥ نجوم صغير جدا لاتوجد بطاقات للغرف ؟؟ مفاتيح بميداليات معدنيه وواحد فقط !!! بالعموم نظيف ومرتب ! عندما وصلنا لايوجد عمال يحملون الشنط وعندما غادرنا كذلك !! اخذت سويت وللاسف نفس مساحه الغرفه مساحه الحمام ! كبير بدرجه اكبر من الغرفه ! غريب جدا ! تصرفات الفتاه على الاستقبال غير مفهومه وغريبه ! وبطيئه ! افتح الشباك وسترى العجب من ازعاج السيارات ! لايطاق وامامك مبنى راديو فرنسا اعتقد انهم كانوا بغرفتنا ازعاج على الدوام ، الميزه الوحيده المطعم الايطالي بالاسفل لذيذ وراقي !
