My husband and I are in Paris 3-4 times a year, and we always stay in either the 15 or the 7 arrondissements, straddling the Champ de Mars. We’ve tried many of the hotels in the area, and while not perfect, we would stay at Hotel Tourisme again.||This trip we booked a superior room (#208), which was definitely a good size for a 5-night stay. While the main bed (two twins pushed together to form a larger bed) was not very comfortable, the little sitting area (table with 2 chairs) was perfect for a snack, and getting my makeup done in the morning. The AC worked amazingly well - which is a rarity in Paris, and quite frankly, the reason why we booked a hotel, and not an apartment! The toilet is in a separate little room from the shower/sink, which is not uncommon for Paris, but something to be aware of. Unfortunately, the shower/sink area was claustrophobically small - it was terrible. Another thing to be aware of, is that both the toilet room, and the room with the shower/sink open up right into the middle of the bedroom (not to the side, or off a hallway), so if you are a party of more than 2, or not in a relationship with your roomie, there is literally no privacy.||Another design flaw, is the extreme lack of closet space. There is no closet, wardrobe, or dresser - just a hanger rod built into the night stand/shelf combo, which holds about 7 items of clothing. We ended up laying most of our clothing out on the second bed - not ideal, but manageable. The hotel is also across the street from the metro, and there is significant rumbling in the rooms as the trains go by. If you’re a light sleeper, bring a white noise machine.||Hotel staff was fine, helped out whenever we needed toiletries replenished, and allowed us to check out 30 minutes late. The smoke alarm went off on one of the nights, and we were a bit surprised by the lack of information given, and overly lax attitude of the front desk staff. While everything was fine (some jerk was smoking in their room), the hotel should probably find a way to alert its patrons, especially in the event of an actual emergency.||For us, this hotel is all about location. Proximity to the Tower, wonderful cafes, great bakeries, access to multiple metro lines and bus routes which get you all over the city, an awesome Monoprix across the street, walkability - the location can’t be beat.

The Hotel Tourisme Avenue hotel is modern, with a limited but adequate amount of public space. The rooms are (at least mine was) fairly small, but well laid out and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable and the bedding was top notch. Its location on Ave de la Motte-Piquet is extremely convenient, being a two minute walk to a Metro stop and on a street with a number of active cafes and restaurants, all within easy walking distance. The reception desk is always manned and its staff are pleasant, though they are less outgoing and interactive with customers than in many high end hotels. Noise between the rooms was a slight issue for me with the opening and closing of the door of the room next to mine extremely audible (almost as if it was my door). Overall I was very satisfied with the hotel for its price, location, and cleanliness.

Stay in the Superior room, extra large, nice walk in shower. Very clean, beds and pillows are super comfy. Hotel staff are super friendly and welcoming-always willing to give local info. Hotel is close to train, walking distance to Eiffel Tower is 15 min, lots of sidewalk cafes. Short taxi ride to other tourist spots. I would absolutely stay here again.

We stayed here in June 2022. It was a great location. We loved getting pastries at the bakery around the corner, and it was so convenient to get to the metro. We had a lovely time, and if we ever visit Paris again, we would stay here.
