Only small issue: couldn't find the bedside outlet for mobile phone (reception helped - it's a wall plug in and another guest had moved it) and Internet signal not strong. Room staff very good. Would come again!
But the service is terrible. The main hostess is very rude. They didn’t even allow me to leave my bag before going to the airport “for security reasons” and because I “just stayed two nights”.
Expensive and rude, although nice. Would not recommend.
We were lucky enough to stay in one of the attic rooms (Casanova) and the view was absolutely breathtaking! From our windows, we could see the rooftops of Paris stretching into the distance, capturing the true essence of the city’s charm. Waking up to this stunning panorama made every morning feel like a dream.
The room itself was beautifully designed, blending classic Parisian elegance with modern comfort. The wooden beams, antique furnishings, and plush bedding created a cozy yet luxurious atmosphere. It felt like stepping back in time while still enjoying all the modern amenities we needed.
And of course, the staff was exceptional, always warm, welcoming, and eager to make our stay special. If you’re looking for a place that captures the true romance of Paris, with incredible views, history, and charm, look no further than Le Relais Saint-Germain. We can’t wait to return!
We stayed in the room with the steam shower, and the view from that room is incredible because it overlooks a plaza at the intersection of at least five streets (Carrefour L'Odeon) and multiple restaurants with outdoor seating. During waking hours, you're watching Paris be Paris. And when you sleep, the position of the room (2nd floor) means you are looking up at not just sky but other buildings with classic French architecture. It's like sleeping under Paris. Truly memorable.
My husband loved the steam shower and now wants one for our own house. The room also had a high ceiling, was well-decorated, and had a lot of seating.
The included daily breakfast at Le Comptoir was incredible. I would stay here again just for the fresh juice alone! The staff was very sweet and helpful.
The one potential pitfall I would mention is that if you have limited mobility, this might not be the best option for you. Like many boutique hotels in Paris, this hotel is in an old building with a unique layout. There are elevators, but our wing of the hotel still required steps to get to some of the rooms. It wasn't a problem for us but I would hesitate to book the same room for someone with bad knees. If mobility is not a concern (or you are able to confirm a room that is elevator accessible) and you want a destination boutique hotel in a great neighborhood, then don't hesitate to stay here.
Nearby all the amazing places
Excellent and kind staff..English speaking.. a lot of care towards clients
We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location is perfect, and the staff was exceptionally polite and accommodating—they even gave us a free upgrade, which was a lovely surprise.
I don’t agree with some reviews about the lobby being too small—it was a good size with a comfortable waiting area, and the staff was courteous enough to send our luggage up so we didn’t have to carry it ourselves. Yes, the elevator is small (about the size of a cupboard), but it’s functional, and given that it’s a heritage building, this is expected. If you’re claustrophobic, taking the stairs is a good option.
The staff truly made our stay memorable, and the neighborhood was simply amazing. I would love to stay here again on my next visit. Thank you to the hotel team for a wonderful experience!
Les petits déjeuners délicieux des produits de qualité, choisis avec soin.
Quant à l’accueil attentif, chaleureux ???? de charme comme l’hôtel. Je reviendrais avec plaisir ????
We will return.
The decoration was distinctly Parisian, which added a charming touch, but the busyness of the room’s design might feel overwhelming for those seeking to relax after a hectic day. However, the best aspects were the excellent location, which was convenient and easily accessible, and the comfortable bed, which ensured a good night’s sleep.
