Very nice hotel, spacious room, clean, location is perfect, few steps away from the metro, the only drawback was the breakfast, very poor breakfast, it's my 40th time in Paris and i haven't experienced such a breakfast, plus the lady serving the breakfast was too unfriendly and ungenerous

Great space and very attentive staff, good breakfast and location excellent for many attractions and public transport
Only small issue: couldn't find the bedside outlet for mobile phone (reception helped - it's a wall plug in and another guest had moved it) and Internet signal not strong. Room staff very good. Would come again!

I stayed for two nights to celebrate my engagement with my now fiancée. The location is great and the hotel, although pretty small, is quaint and nice.

But the service is terrible. The main hostess is very rude. They didn’t even allow me to leave my bag before going to the airport “for security reasons” and because I “just stayed two nights”.

Expensive and rude, although nice. Would not recommend.

Staying at Hôtel Le Relais Saint-Germain was nothing short of magical! Nestled in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, this charming boutique hotel transports you to a world of elegance, history, and romance.

We were lucky enough to stay in one of the attic rooms (Casanova) and the view was absolutely breathtaking! From our windows, we could see the rooftops of Paris stretching into the distance, capturing the true essence of the city’s charm. Waking up to this stunning panorama made every morning feel like a dream.

The room itself was beautifully designed, blending classic Parisian elegance with modern comfort. The wooden beams, antique furnishings, and plush bedding created a cozy yet luxurious atmosphere. It felt like stepping back in time while still enjoying all the modern amenities we needed.

And of course, the staff was exceptional, always warm, welcoming, and eager to make our stay special. If you’re looking for a place that captures the true romance of Paris, with incredible views, history, and charm, look no further than Le Relais Saint-Germain. We can’t wait to return!

I’ve been to Paris many times, but this was my first time staying at this hotel. Although the lady at the reception spoke in a somewhat cold or unfriendly manner, and although the bathroom shower area is a bit small and only had a handheld showerhead with no fixed mount, the room was really spacious, comfortable, and clean. The hotel’s location is also excellent. ||But the breakfast was disappointing. The selection was very limited, and on the first day, the bread and croissants were far from fresh—it tasted as if it was made two days ago (The bread and croissant of the second morning was better than the first day). What made the breakfast not enjoyable was their poor service.||As soon as I entered the restaurant for breakfast, I smiled and nodded at the waitress to greet her. However she only glanced at me coldly and immediately turned away to continue talking to another person (who seemed to be her colleague or possibly her supervisor, as he seemed to be sternly talking her about something). After a short while, she arranged a table for us but remained completely silent throughout, showing no basic courtesy.||I took a boiled egg and while peeling it, placed the eggshells on an empty plate on the table (without realizing that it was actually a saucer for coffee). She then brought me my coffee and placed it directly on the saucer full of eggshells. She should have provided me a clean one instead. When I pointed this out, she responded rudely, insisting that it was a coffee saucer and the coffee cup should be placed there, even if it had eggshells on it. So rude! ||I have never had such unpleasant experience!

My husband and.I had an amazing week in Paris while staying at Relais St. Germain last year. The location cannot be beat -- close walking distance to restaurants, shopping, grocery/convenience stores, parks, and the Seine. For the skincare aficionados, it's a 5 minute walk to CityPharma. It's also <1 minute walk from an entrance to the Odeon Metro stop and very close to bus and RER stops as well.

We stayed in the room with the steam shower, and the view from that room is incredible because it overlooks a plaza at the intersection of at least five streets (Carrefour L'Odeon) and multiple restaurants with outdoor seating. During waking hours, you're watching Paris be Paris. And when you sleep, the position of the room (2nd floor) means you are looking up at not just sky but other buildings with classic French architecture. It's like sleeping under Paris. Truly memorable.
My husband loved the steam shower and now wants one for our own house. The room also had a high ceiling, was well-decorated, and had a lot of seating.

The included daily breakfast at Le Comptoir was incredible. I would stay here again just for the fresh juice alone! The staff was very sweet and helpful.

The one potential pitfall I would mention is that if you have limited mobility, this might not be the best option for you. Like many boutique hotels in Paris, this hotel is in an old building with a unique layout. There are elevators, but our wing of the hotel still required steps to get to some of the rooms. It wasn't a problem for us but I would hesitate to book the same room for someone with bad knees. If mobility is not a concern (or you are able to confirm a room that is elevator accessible) and you want a destination boutique hotel in a great neighborhood, then don't hesitate to stay here.

Title: Wonderful Stay in an Amazing Location

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location is perfect, and the staff was exceptionally polite and accommodating—they even gave us a free upgrade, which was a lovely surprise.

I don’t agree with some reviews about the lobby being too small—it was a good size with a comfortable waiting area, and the staff was courteous enough to send our luggage up so we didn’t have to carry it ourselves. Yes, the elevator is small (about the size of a cupboard), but it’s functional, and given that it’s a heritage building, this is expected. If you’re claustrophobic, taking the stairs is a good option.

The staff truly made our stay memorable, and the neighborhood was simply amazing. I would love to stay here again on my next visit. Thank you to the hotel team for a wonderful experience!

We loved our stay at the Hotel Relais Saint Germain. The staff was just lovely and so helpful. We stayed in one of the suites, which was beautiful and very comfortable. The bed was great, the comforter was amazing (it was January, after all), and the bathroom great. We had a shower and a bathtub, and the plumbing was great.||The hotel is eclectic with different decor in the rooms. We were able to see into some of the other rooms as they were being cleaned, and the decor was different from ours. Each room is named after an author, and there are books everywhere. Since we're book people, we loved this aspect.||Breakfast was in the restaurant affiliated with the hotel (Comptoir du Relais). Breakfast was very good and fresh with fabulous bread and croissants, ham, thick yogurt, and assorted fruits, granola, and coffee/tea. The hotel was impeccably clean. There is a lounge area next to the main entrance area where you can sit and have a drink. I spent some time there reading a book with a glass of champagne.||The hotel has an elevator. It's very small, and really only fits 2 people. However, it is a modern elevator and worked very well. The electricity and HVAC in the rooms is modern. ||We loved our stay and the location is fabulous. It's only 1-2 minute walk to the Odeon metro station, and there are several great restaurants and cafes walking distance. It's very close to the Luxembourg Gardens, the Seine, Notre Dame, the Pantheon, and the Latin Quarter. Great room, great staff, great location.

Staying at this hotel for one night was an interesting experience. While the room was spacious by Parisian standards, the tiny toilet, uncomfortable shower, and very narrow corridors made our stay less comfortable. Additionally, the breakfast area was quite small, and the staff did not seem particularly welcoming.

The decoration was distinctly Parisian, which added a charming touch, but the busyness of the room’s design might feel overwhelming for those seeking to relax after a hectic day. However, the best aspects were the excellent location, which was convenient and easily accessible, and the comfortable bed, which ensured a good night’s sleep.

I am writing this review a couple of months after my stay here. I keep thinking about how wonderful it was. From the moment my fiancée and I walked in, we were treated so kindly and noticed how beautiful the place is. The receptionist that we saw for most of our stay made sure that we had a great time and knew everything that we needed to know. She also allowed us to keep our bags there until check in time since our flight was so early. The rooms are incredibly comfortable and the aesthetic of them is great. There are drinks, breakfast, and it is in a great location. I can’t think of a way that I would make my experience better. Thank you to the staff ♡

Enjoyed our stay at the hotel very central near metro station , fun, safe and active surrounding … comfortable bed and clean room , the elevator was very tiny though. Great breakfasts , nice staff , good restaurants around. Rooms either have heater on or air condition and they decide which is available for which day for your room!

The hotel reminded me of a 15th century english inn (a pub with bedrooms upstairs). The bedroom ceilings have dark wooden beams and the furniture is eclectic. It is quirky, which is not my thing but the location is excellent. Note the lift is very, very small, there are only 16 rooms in the hotel, and it is noisy with the restaurants outside and the old lift right outside the bedroom doors.
