My Husband and I had just come from another 3 star hotel in Paris and let me just say- unfortunately this “ hotel” which felt more like a run down “ hostel” really doesn’t even deserve one star.
We arrived at the start of Summer here in Europe and the hotel advised air conditioning- however it was “ not working” the day we arrived and apparently they were fully booked so could not offer another room. However after ready some other reviews this is common practice- as they renovate the floors above or below. When asked for a fan- no fans were available so we had to sleep with the windows open for air- which was on the Main Street and it was EXTREMELY loud and noisy!
I did ask the Manager for a refund or compensation and had to email the hotel- nothing has been received or replied to since our stay. I advised her for the price that was paid this simply was not good enough.
Room was VERY small and shower even smaller.
Certainly not a 3 star hotel and we would certainly not stay again. Tourists be warned- stay away from this disappointing place.

Awful experience. Hotel was old, dirty and staff couldn't give a dam. Air-conditioning not working. Thank heavens as the unit was filthy. Area extremely unsafe. Carpet was worn down to fibres. Wifi not working. Offered Euro69 compensation. Went to Sleeping Belle hotel near Gare de Lyon. turned my trip into a wonderful experience.

Bel emplacement pour cet hôtel (proche métro L7) mais les chambres sont petites et la salle de bains encore plus !
Impossible de faire changer un éclairage insuffisant dans les toilettes malgré 2 relances (en laissant la porte ouverte et avec l'éclairage de la chambre il était plus facile de voir qu'avec la lampe installée au mur !).
La literie est trop molle et la cloison avec la chambre attenante n'est pas assez insonorisée!
Je ne recommande pas cet établissement !!

I stayed at Hotel Paris La Fayette for 4 nights in May 2025 and had a deeply disappointing experience. The hotel was under construction during my entire stay — something that was never disclosed at the time of booking.
The room had no working air conditioning and extremely poor cleanliness: I found fingernails and hair on the bed, yellow stains on the towel, and what appeared to be dried vomit on one of the pillows. When I asked to change rooms, the front desk said there was no availability — probably because most of the third floor was also under renovation.
This is absolutely not the level of service one would expect from a 3-star hotel in Paris, especially for nearly $600. the hotel refused to take any responsibility.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone until they complete renovations and address serious hygiene issues.

La douche était très sale avec de la moisissure et un rideau noirci et puant, le shampoing de l'hôtel sentait pas bon et ça m'irritait les mains. La chambre sur les photos avait l'air bien mais c'était vraiment décevant, et l'ascenseur ne fonctionnait pas, nous avons dû monter de nombreux mini escaliers avec de gros balises lourds et je dois dire que le traitement du personnel n'était pas le meilleur . Je ne le recommande pas.

Little Hotel with cute rooms and good breakfast. Beautiful area with lots of Cafés and Restaurants atill not too busy, since the hotel is in a little street. Sadly the windows are thin so you can hear lots of streetnoise, but at night its not very noisy. The hotel is in walking distance to Montmartre and Seine (30 minutes). We asked for a 2 meter Bed because of our size but we got a 1.90 Bed. That's why and because of the noise i can give just 4/5 stars.

This was our first hotel on Back Roads La Belle France tour. It was disappointing! We were early for check in but were able to wait for,our room - an hour later just before 3pm we were told we could go,to,the room. Maybe if we were told it was going t9 be that long we may have gone for a walk!|The room was reasonable but the bathroom was,up three steps - possibly dangerous in the middle of the night. Breakfast was ordinary. Small foyer. Clean and quiet, but in an unusual area, although close to the Metro Poissionare

Clean and quiet with helpful staff.
Centrally located, 1 minute from a metro, and a 10 minutes walk from the Eurostar.
Spoilt for choice with the excellent restaurants and coffee shops nearby.

hotel en cours de rénovation donc pas mal de bruit mais c'est pour la bonne cause ! chambre sympas malgré la petitesse de la douche et les lits jumeaux au lieu d'un lit double...

personnel un peu limite mais bon on a connu pire
situation idéale dans le 10e arrondissement à l'angle d'une rue où l'on trouve beaucoup de restaurants de toute sorte et même une patisserie Michalak !

Ho prenotato tramite Smartbox e nel complesso sono rimasta abbastanza soddisfatta. La posizione è decisamente comoda, sia dal punto di vista dei mezzi pubblici, che per quanto riguarda i ristoranti. Il problema è che ci sono dei lavori di ristrutturazione nella struttura proprio a ridosso delle camere, questo in tutti i piani, e sia noi che altri clienti siamo stati svegliati la mattina presto a causa dei lavori.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per un weekend con prenotazione effettuata tramite smartbox.
Ottima la posizione, con fermata metro Poissoniere quasi adiacente, e tanti servizi a pochi metri (supermercati, farmacia e tanti locali con vari tipi di cucina).
Camera piccola ma molto accogliente e pulita. Colazione dolce e salata. Anche il personale estremamente gentile (ci hanno stampato gratuitamente i biglietti aerei di ritorno). Reception aperta 24/24!!! Dovessimo far ritorno a Parigi, sicuramente proveremo a prenotare qui.

Hôtel bas de gamme, chambres petites et glauques, disjoncteur chauffage déclenché donc ça veut dire interdit d'avoir un peu chaud...petit déjeuner minimaliste avec du pain de la veille

Very clean and close to the metro station. There are great places to eat nearby. It was really good value for money. We needed a room to sleep in only since we were out exploring all day and this hotel was perfect for that.

La camera non era un granché, al terzo piano senza ascensore con una scala a chiocciola molto scomoda e non ci hanno dato nemmeno una mano a salire i bagagli. Copriwater rotto, microonde rotto e climatizzatore rotto, dopo varie lamentele ci hanno dato un termosifone elettrico che scaldava ben poco. Una vera delusione.

J'y passe plusieurs nuits par mois pour le travail et je m'y sens très bien. l'accueil est chaleureux et rapide, les chambres propres et calmes, le petit dej très bon. Le nouvel ascenseur très rapide et silencieux apporte un vrai plus. la situation géographique est excellente, gare du nord à moins de 5 mns à pied et Opera; Montmartre... très proche également. je recommande vivement!

La posizione è comodissima, camere piccole ma essenziali e curate. Purtroppo non c'era il mini frigo ma vabbè......
Appena arrivati ci hanno offerto un caffè in sala colazione (erano le 11 del mattino).
le altre mattine siamo rimasti un po' delusi in quanto stavano facendo dei lavori: magari sarebbe meglio farli non alle 9-10 del mattino quando tutti utilizzano l'unica ascensore????!!?!?! che dire.
per due mattine così. tra operai e rumori di trapano. avessero aspettato qualche ora avevano l'hotel vuoto.
ad esempio l'ultima mattina abbiamo dovuto fare 4 piani di scale con le valigie perché gli operai occupavano l'ascensore e non è stato per nulla carino.
Tolto questo imprevisto, nel complesso è andata bene, posizione super comoda a 3 minuti a piedi dalla metro.
zona molto carina. Nei dintorni ci sono bar, boulangerie, kebab ecc
ci hanno fatto lasciare gratis le valigie l'ultimo giorno.
