Mixed Feelings – A Disappointing Ending to a Beautiful Start

We stayed at Bloom Hotel in Paris recently, and while our arrival was met with warmth and kindness (especially thanks to the evening concierge who truly made us feel welcome- Abdl), our overall experience took a disappointing turn the next day.

We had specifically chosen this hotel because of its lovely spa amenities—a pool and sauna we were really looking forward to using on our last day in Paris, since our flight was late in the evening. However, on the day of departure, the daytime staff refused— they were inflexible even when we offered to pay extra or emphasized it was a birthday weekend. They were so rigid and lack any kind of empathy.

In every hotel we’ve stayed at—from New York to Vegas to Spain—guests are typically offered a courtesy room to change or at least allowed access to shared amenities after checkout, especially when travel timing is involved. Not here. The attitude was rigid, and the customer service, unfortunately, left a bitter taste on what had started as a lovely stay.

If you're booking this hotel specifically for the wellness facilities, be aware that you will not be allowed to use them even a minute past checkout time. Make sure to clarify all conditions very clearly with staff, as miscommunication seems to fall entirely on the guest here.

Sadly, we won’t be returning—and we wouldn’t recommend it to travelers who expect a little hospitality flexibility.

En tout point moyen. La chambre est fonctionnelle mais très petite. Le dîner était correct sans plus. Le petit-déjeuner buffet très classique avec un choix de produit suffisant mais pas extraordinaire. Le tout pour des tarifs très parisiens ! Bref, une expérience très dispensable, au rapport qualité-prix médiocre.

Great location if you want to be near Gare du Nord and Gare de l’Est! Not so great location if you want to be in central Paris, it will be about 25 minutes metro ride to everywhere. But it is a great value with a lovely spa and pool. We enjoyed the sauna a lot!

Un endroit exceptionnel !
Le décor est de très bon goût, très cosy, confortable et accueillant avec ses couleurs chaudes. La terrasse extérieure invite au calme dans un cadre verdoyant digne d’Indiana Jones !
L’intérieur est juste parfait !
La cuisine est un délice ???? les vins suivent ????
Un grand merci à toute l’équipe, parfaite, extrêmement professionnelle et d’une gentillesse confondante ❤️
Merci à Julie, Quentin, Yaël, Anaïck, Ali et Liz, vos sourires et votre bienveillance m’ont apporté beaucoup de baume au cœur en ces temps que je trouve compliqués.
Nous étions une grande tablée, nous reviendrons en couple .
Une adresse que je recommande fortement car l’hôtel restaurant est un peu caché. Vraiment un lieu magnifique et magique ????❤️????

Réservation via un bon cadeau.
Le repas du midi était très bon, pris sur la terrasse « comme un petit oasis », avec un service sympathique et attentionné.
Le spa était très agréable, beau et reposant.
Je recommande !

Nice hotel not to far from city centre. Everything you need is in the room. Towels, bathrobe, extra towels. Breakfast is very good. And quietly in the evenings.

When we checked in we were unable to get the air conditioner on as it was set on heat . I had to phone the front desk multiple times, and finally I went down to the lobby. The gentleman, well man, was extremely rude telling me to be quiet and says he resetting the thermostat. This was after I was told they were sending someone. I seem him move both rooms over to cool and finally we get some relief. The "SHOWER" had mold throughout and we found someone's scarf in our room. Prior guest? The day we arrived I realized I booked in the wrong side of the city. This was our first time in Paris and we wanted to be right by the tourist sites. I planned this trip Girls trip as my sincer has cancer and we have talked about it our entire lives. This is the main reason.we needed to be closer. I spoke with the front desk about checking out the following day, but wanting to be sure I'm not being charged. I was told I had to speak with the manager who would not be in until 10:00 am. The following morning I wasn't feeling well and the hotel staff came to the door asking if we would be.checking out. We'll this is clearly a lack of communication, as I had yet to speak with the manager. At this point we were exhausted and decided to stay. That day, I decided I would be returning to London, since I wasn't feeling well and asked that they check me out of one room for one night and again was told no. I left the hotel, and the room was empty for a day. The worst experience in my entire life at a hotel. STAY AWAY......

신혼여행으로 방문했습니다.
호텔 청결, 인테리어, 서비스, 시설(사우나, 수영장) 모든게 완벽했습니다.
중심부와 살짝 떨어진 곳이라 아쉽지만 그 점이 상쇄될만큼 만족스러운 곳이에요!
정수기가 있어서 찬물, 탄산수까지 먹을 수 있어서 정말 좋았습니다.

Overpriced for an extremely small room. If you're a tourist you want to be closer to the tower. I was told my several UBER drivers we had that this was not a good area. There was Mold in the shower, heat was on and the front desk was rude.when attempting to get the ac on. This is a newer hotel and it.was ||disappointing to say the least. I left a day early due to the flu and they wouldn't credit me even though I had asked.the day prior. .we stayed at the HILTON in LONDON for the.aame price and the service waa fantastic.

Très belle hôtel avec un bon emplacement à proximité de la Gare du Nord et du métro.
Mon gros point négatif et qui ne me fera pas rechoisir cet hôtel est l’impossibilité de manger au restaurant de l’hôtel. Nous sommes arrivées dans l’après midi et vu que le restaurant est accessible à tout le monde il n’y a plus de place pour les clients de l’hôtel. De plus celui ci est fermé le dimanche et lundi, pas top pour les week ends prolongés. L’hôtel nous a recommandé un autre restaurant extérieur sans s’assurer qu’il y avait des places disponibles. Finalement nous nous sommes débrouillées seules. Je testais cet hôtel pour des futurs voyages professionnels et le restaurant indisponible après une journée de congrès ou formation est non acceptable.

Très très mauvaise expérience, un bruit assourdissant dans la chambre. Le réceptionniste ne fait preuve d’aucune compréhension, et refuse le remboursement de la chambre alors que nous avons dû partir de l’hôtel car il était impossible de dormir avec ce bruit assourdissant

We had a lovely stay at Bloom House. The decor throughout the hotel was truly fantastic—stylish, unique, and thoughtfully designed. We stayed in a room on the 6th floor (I believe it was room 611), which offered a charming view of the Sacré-Cœur. Although I would have preferred the adjacent room with a balcony, our room was still very enjoyable.||The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the reception team were incredibly friendly and welcoming. One standout feature was the water cooler dispensers on each floor, which we appreciated greatly. But I would suggest adding a water-resistant base underneath the coolers, as the surrounding carpet was getting soaked.||A couple of small drawbacks: the room didn’t have a fridge, but given the space constraints, I can understand why. The bigger letdown was the breakfast—it didn’t quite meet expectations (especially gluten free options were limited). I’d recommend walking toward Canal Saint Martin and enjoying breakfast at one of the cafés overlooking the water instead. We didn’t get the chance to try lunch or dinner at the hotel, so I can’t comment on those meals. The hotel’s courtyard was a lovely spot for drinks, although the bar service could use some improvement.||Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. Bloom House offers a beautiful, comfortable experience in a great location. Thank you to the team for making our visit so enjoyable.

Solo female traveler~ This was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Paris I can’t wait to come back! The amenities were wonderful, the pool and sauna were great and the food was absolutely delicious. Staff were very friendly and attentive as needed, thank you for a lovely experience!

We had a wonderful quick stay at Bloom House Hotel! The staff was accommodating and welcoming. We arrived a little early and they were able to give us an early check in which was much appreciated! We had a balcony along the street and were surprised how quiet it was. We slept peacefully and are glad we went with Bloom for our stay! Hotel was clean and smelled lovely as soon as you walked in. Room was perfect for our needs and we appreciated having a thermostat for our room, and the tea and coffee being in room made for a nice calm morning pick me up before setting off to the city. We didn’t use the pool but took a look and if we had more time we would have definitely taken advantage of it. Overall would highly recommended for those staying in Paris.

A very nice and unique Hotel in which a lot of Effort and Heart flew in to create something exceptional.
A small (but not too hot ????) Sauna and a great little Pool wait downstaires.
As usual in most of Southern Europe you please don't forget a Swimming Suit.

Must stay location if you dont want the hustle and are looking for a new hotel (it opened in 2023). While it is not in the center of Paris, it is close. The train station is short walk from this Boutique hotel, and maybe a 20 minute train ride will get you to Paris city center. I WILL TOTALLY STAY THERE AGAIN. The staff (Julie Robert ???? in the bar and restaurant) were helpful and attentive. Even the manager Bruno was friendly and inviting.

The breakfast offerings were artisan and well thought out. From the small dairy yogurts, the house made juices (even cranberry), the pastries, the small batch preserves to the selection of perfectly ripe cheeses and eggs meats, there had it all. THEY EVEN HAD GLUTEN FREE TOAST. We ate lunch as well in the onsite restaurant SUAVECITO. My wife loved the stuffed chicken breast, and I was floored by the Chestnut soup, and the roasted bass.

Do not miss the pool with its jet bays or the sauna. I can't speak to the spa treatment offerings as I didn't have time for that. Upper floors will be rewarded with views of Sacré Ceour and even the eifel tower. Balconies on lower floors will enjoy a beautiful courtyard view. The neighborhood has a good offering of restaurants (although we only ate out twice in our 3 nights) and shops.

Don't hesitate to stay at this hotel.

Le spa est plaisant avec une belle piscine et un sauna.

Quand le professionnalisme rencontre la chaleur humaine et la bienveillance. Plus qu’un hôtel restaurant, c’est une parenthèse du temps. Je vous recommande de vous laisser guider par le personnel aguerri et attentif pour les mets et les boissons : ils savent guider nos papilles vers la découverte. Je recommande cette bulle de bien être. Merci à toutes l’équipe de nous avoir fait passer un moment si « à part »
