C'est une bonne cantine avec un bon rapport qualité-prix. Vaisselle très simple, mon mari a bu sa bière dans un verre à vin car pas de verre à bière. La salle rien de spéciale, c'est ancien sans plus. Serveur très agréable et très bonne mémoire vu leur système de prise de commande.

Great French simple but very tasty food for incredible prices - we spent less than €35 in total on two 3-course dinners including half a liter of rose for 2! Service is fast and friendly and the decor is authentic. As a plus it is right across Gare de l’Est which makes it the ideal place to have dinner before or after taking the train.

The man at the door was not very friendly taking us to our table. Our waiter (older man) did not speak any English and he had a hard time translating what was on the English menu to his French menu, he got it wrong many times but made no effort to get a waiter who spoke English. Even if he had basic level of duck=ganard would be helpful. Our sides came when all the meals were finished. My order of fries had 2 black hairs in it. The meal itself was cooked well but could have have a jus (confit duck). The worst part was the method of ordering where he wrote it on the table in completely not legible handwriting so even if we took a picture we could not refer to it for adding up the bill, when we did add it up using the menu there was a 20 euro difference that had been added but by this time we had left. When we asked the waiter for a receipt we were either denied or he pretended not to know or make an effort to understand. The food was not bad but very dissapointed with this service and unintelligent method of ordering and receipt.

They randomly added 20€ to our bill without saying anything. The waiter didn't speak a single word of english even if they gave us english menus. To order he wrote almost incomprehensible things on the table cloth, we had taken a photo of that and checked the list of orders and it was correct but the total was magically 20€ more . We asked for the receipt when we paid and he pretended to not understand.

Depuis le temps que nous voulions essayer ce bouillon. On profite d'une escale à Paris pour tester.
Un midi en semaine il n'y as pas d'attente. L'accueil est irréprochable, le rythme aussi. La carte est typique. On piochera dans les grands classiques.
Rien à dire pour le reste, le serveur est rapide, sur tous les fronts, l'ambiance parisienne, et le goût dans l'assiette au rendez vous.
Les photos parlent d'elles même.
Le prix est quasi imbattable pour manger ainsi dans Paris.
A coup sûr une adresse à recommander !

L’établissement nous accepte avec une poussette, puis finalement une fois les plats servis, on nous invite a sortir la poussette, résultat le papa doit arrêter son repas et attendre dehors avec le BB
C’est la 1ère fois de ma vie que j’assiste à une chose pareille, je déconseille fortement cet endroit qui ne pense qu’à votre argent, je suis profondément choquer

Accueil courtois, ambiance un peu froide entre les serveurs.
Les plats étaient bons. Un point négatif sur le bœuf bourguignon qui avait trop de morceaux avec du gras.
La profiterole et la mousse au chocolat étaient très bonnes.
Le prix est très attractif.

Direkt am Ostbahnhof gelegen lädt es ein für einen kurzen Stop - aber leider typischer Touristennapp! Aperolspritz nur orangenes Wasser - Pastis nicht mal einen Finger breit und dafür dann halt zu teuer.

Service chaleureux assuré par Olivier, toujours souriant et plein d’entrain — cela fait vraiment la différence. Cuisine typique, généreuse et savoureuse. Une belle expérience de brasserie parisienne, à un prix juste. Très bien situé, à deux pas de la Gare de l’Est.

I’ve been here now 4 evening in a row! I never go back to the same restaurant, no matter how good it is but in this case, wow, the service is hit and miss but you always get served! You always get with your meals a bread basket and a bottle of water. The meals range from 1€ homemade vegetable soup to 13.20 € for a main meal. Entrees, deserts, cheeses, apperitivo, alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks at well below the price you would expect. The main meals are very traditional French, simple and filling. They have a suggested selection to eat for the evening for less than 16€ (Entrée, mains and desert) . I enjoy my meals with a carafe of the house wine for less than 4€.

There’s always a line up, so make the most of it when you’re in the neighbourhood.

Very distracted waiter, can not understand any other language or able to see what you want on the menu paper. He could not calculate the order sum that has been written on th table paper. The table was not fixed and shaked in every move.

Une trés bonne adresse de Bouillon

Première experience chez chartier gare de l'est accueil pas beaucoup d'attente de la place en milieu de semaine ce jour . Bon rapport qualité prix . Des plats références comme confit saucisse au couteau, Andouillette 5 A etc. Service trés bien par un serveur éfficace rapide.je reviendrai.

Experience client très agréable dès l'entrée dans l'établissement. Les plats étaient copieux et bons. Le tout, sublimé par la grande sympathie de Stéphane, qui m'a réconciliée avec l'enseigne Bouillon Chartier ☺
