Un bel endroit où prendre le temps
Le cadre est très joli, on s’y sent bien. Les plats sont simples, mais bons. Le service est chaleureux et accueillant, ce qui ajoute à l’expérience.
C’est vrai qu’il peut y avoir un peu d’attente, mais rien de gênant : on vient aussi pour profiter, discuter, prendre son temps.
Petit bémol pour moi : les prix un peu élevés par rapport à ce qui est proposé.

Chantilly is hands down one of the best café bars I’ve visited in Bordeaux. The atmosphere is cozy yet vibrant, perfect for both a relaxed coffee break during the day and a stylish evening out. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel welcome from the moment you walk in.

Their coffee is excellent, the cocktails are creative and perfectly balanced, and the selection of pastries and small bites is simply delightful. You can tell everything is made with care and quality ingredients. Plus, the décor strikes the perfect balance between chic and comfortable.

Whether you’re a local or just passing through Bordeaux, Chantilly is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Super sympa, et accepte des services gratuitement c’est génial

Il y a quelques semaines, mon père et moi cherchions un café ensoleillé et nous sommes tombés sur ce petit café mignon. L’ambiance était agréable et les prix semblaient corrects, même si nous étions juste en face de la cathédrale. Mais j’ai une remarque à faire concernant les prix du café (ou plutôt du lait dans ce cas). J’ai commandé un chai latte (4,50 €) et un café allongé (2 €), ce qui me semble un tarif raisonnable. J’ai demandé si mon père pouvait avoir un peu de lait pour son café, car on ne nous avait apporté que du sucre. L’addition finale était de 9,50 €. Quand j’ai demandé au serveur pourquoi c’était si cher, puisque cela aurait dû faire 6,50 €, il a répondu que, à cause de ce peu de lait, il devait nous facturer un double espresso et un latte — ce qui n’a aucun sens.

Je me sens simplement arnaqué, et cela donne l’impression générale que l’avis du client ne compte pas.

A few weeks ago my dad and I were looking for a coffee in the sunshine and found this cute café. Ambience was nice and also prices looked okay even though we were right in front of the cathedral. But I have a complaint about the pricing of coffee (or milk in this case). I ordered a chai latte (4.50€) and a café allongé (2€) which is a fair price in my opinion. I asked if my dad can have a dash of milk for his coffee as they only brought sugar. The final bill was 9.50€. When I asked the waiter why it was so expensive, as it should be 6.50€ he answered that because of that bit of milk he had to charge us for a double espresso and a latte - which makes no sense at all.
I just feel ripped off and generally gives the impression that the customer has nothing to say.
