Die Eigentümer Christine und Stephane sind die perfekten Gastgeber und das Anwesen sowie die Zimmer und Apartments sind ein Traum! Wir waren 2 Wochen zu Gast und haben jede Minute genossen. Wir hatten ein Apartment mit einer nagelneuen Küche, einem geräumigen und geschmackvollen Schlafzimmer sowie ein sehr schönes und großes Bad. Die Eigentümer kümmern sich sehr rührend um die Gäste, super freundlich, wenn man will auch sehr persönlich und freundschaftlich! Die Location hat das bestimmte Etwas, hat Flair und ist einfach schön. Zudem ist man in 5min direkt in Blaye mit Geschäften, Gastronomie und Wochenmärkten. Ein großer Discounter ist mit dem Auto in 3min zu erreichen und hat alles was das Herz begehrt. Wir haben viele schöne Ausflüge gemacht aber uns auch einfach fabelhaft entspannt, u.a. an dem schönen Pool. Christine und Stephane, vielen Dank für diesen unvergesslichen Urlaub mit viel Herz und Seele!

Juste exceptionnel !
Les pavillons, la décoration soignée et juste, les extérieurs, une jolie piscine, un grand sens de l'accueil et une magnifique table de petit déjeuner. On s'y sent très bien à se demander s'il serait raisonnable de sortir de ce cocon.

Nous avons tout aimé au Clos Réaud, de l’emplacement calme et proche du centre ville au site magnifique en passant par un service impeccable. La deco des chambres est soignée, le jardin, la piscine et les alentours superbes, la salles à manger et les communs très plaisant. Christine et Stephane sont charmants et soignent leurs hôtes avec une attention particulière. Ils sont toujours prêt à rendre service et ne sont pas avare de conseils. Nous avons vraiment adoré le Clos Réaud et reviendrons certainement!

If you’re travelling in this part of France or you want to find a great place for a short break then this is the place for you. A fabulous experience from first to last. Superb accommodation with great hosts. There is secure parking for both cars and bikes there are charging points for EVs and the bike garage allows you to charge your e-bike. The cycle path which starts a few hundred meters from the hotel is an added bonus. The ‘icing on the cake’ is the pool and decking area around it.

Séjour dépaysant, reposant et répondant à toutes nos attentes.
Tout y est super : le charme de la chambre, le petit-déjeuner copieux, les hôtes très accueillants et aux petits soins, le cadre et les prestations (jacuzzi, piscine...) de grande qualité.
Massage très apprécié avec beaucoup de bienfaits.

Accueil très agréable. La propriété est un petit havre de paix. Le gîte est décoré cocooning, vraiment très propre et confortable. De nombreuses prestations bien être: yoga, massage, piscine, transat…Petit déjeuner copieux, frais et appétissant. L’emplacement est idéal: en centre ville mais au calme. À proximité (5 à 10 minutes à pieds) de tous les commerces et points de restauration. À 10 minutes à pied de l’embarcadère. À aller visiter sans aucune hésitation, vous ne le regretterez pas

Jolie chambre, calme, romantique avec une belle salle de bain. Peut-être un peu humide.
Nous n'avons pas pu utiliser la piscine car elle était déjà en hivernage.
L'accueil était très convivial et le petit déjeuner parfait.

Cette grande demeure est idéalement située à quelques minutes à pieds du centre de Blaye. Attention de ne pas en rater l'entrée ! Après une bonne nuit dans la chambre Angelus, nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisir à échanger avec Christine et Stephane pendant le petit-déjeuner. Merci à eux de cet accueil.

Esperienza ottima sotto tutti i punti di vista..!! Purtroppo abbiamo potuto beneficiare della confortevole e simpatica ospitalità di Stéphane e Christine solo per una notte, stanchissimi e con il pensiero dello stress della vita quotidiana che ci attendeva a Roma, al ritorno da un bel viaggio itinerante in Aquitania, ma avremmo davvero desiderato prolungare il nostro soggiorno per un periodo sicuramente più lungo: il soggiorno - ancorché limitato - ci ha “rigenerato” e resi ben disposti ad affrontare il periodo successivo ..!! Abbiamo dormito nella camera ricavata nell'antica “Colombaia”, favolosa: letto ampio e avvolgente, doccia ampia ed efficiente, arredamento grazioso e vista dall'alto del grande giardino, “chiuso”, come il resto dell’affascinante struttura alla vista e all'indiscrezione esterna, e in cui abbiamo gradevolmente passeggiato, sperimentando anche - e rilassandoci - nella piscina riscaldata. Stéphane gentilissimo e subito disponibile per qualsiasi necessità, gioviale e "internazionale". Christine con il suo aiuto ci ha deliziato & viziato la mattina dopo con una colazione esagerata e gustosissima. La posizione tranquilla e defilata di Blaye è indicata come base per giri nei dintorni (compresa la stessa Bordeaux..) anche allontanandosi di molto. Insomma: una vera "Chicca" in cui speriamo prima o poi di tornare. Grazie ancora Stéphane e Christine: vi salutiamo cordialmente anche se con un po' di colpevole ritardo. Paola & Marco da Roma

Quel plaisir d'avoir pu séjourner au Clos Réaud !
Cette chambre d'hôtes est celle dont on rêve : une demeure magnifique pleine de charme, des chambres très calmes indépendantes les unes des autres et surtout un couple d'hôtes (Christine et Stéphane) qui sont aux petits soins avec beaucoup de gentillesse, d'humour et d'intelligence. Belle reconversion professionnelle !

We loved our stay at Clos Réaud de la Citadel. We received a warm welcome from Stefan upon arrival with an orientation to the beautiful and spacious rooms, pool and breakfast area. We felt like guests in his home. We easily walked to nearby restaurants and attractions. The rooms were comfortable and very charming. It was a wonderful experience! One note - it’s easy to miss from the street. We passed by the first time as it’s a bit tucked away off of a busy road.

Wonderful place with the most beautiful and romantic rooms. Super service!!!
Wonderful breakfast on a long table. The best service you can imagine. Nice garden and pool. Christine and Stéphane are dedicated, everything was clean.
The town centre is in walking distance and has at least two nice restaurants.

Hartelijke ontvangst. Prachtige kamer met goed bed en fijne inloopdouche. Mooi zout, verwarmd zwembad. Op loopafstand van centrum Blaye. Er is fietsverhuur en ze serveren een lekker ontbijt!

We have just spent three nights in this superb Chambres D’hote and highly recommend both it and Blaye. Stephane and Christine are wonderful hosts where nothing is too much trouble. Their home is situated a short walk from centre ville and the beautiful citadel but is a haven of tranquility and perfect for relaxation or as a base to explore the area. We had a beautiful private and spacious room with our own terrace and entrance. Our room was well equipped including coffee machine, kettle and mini-fridge. Breakfasts are wonderfully generous and social occasions where guests can mingle and enjoy multi- lingual discussion aided by Stephane and Christine. The swimming pool is perfectly heated with a good supply of loungers, shade and towels. A real home from home in a lovely period French property. Thank you Stephane and Christine for providing us with the perfect spot to relax after the stress of packing up and selling our Maison Secondaire. Lots of love and best wishes Lorraine and Nigel x
