Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt in diesem Hotel nicht. Die Zimmer sind zwar sauber, aber äußerst in die Jahre gekommen und verfügten wie in unserem Fall über keine Klimaanlage. Das Personal konnte uns persönlich nicht überzeugen. Die gepflegte Außenanlage und der Pool (direkt an der Straße, Sauna defekt) bringen die 3 Sterne gerade so über die Ziellinie.

Beautiful chateau, very clean and comfortable rooms, super lovely staff who made us feel very welcome (and thank you Louis for the brilliant tasting!). Highly recommend as a base for wine tasting in this area

Während unseres Aufenthaltes in Bordeaux haben wir hier eine Nacht gebucht. Mit grosser Vorfreude bestiegen wir den Zug nur um während der Anreise ein Mail zu erhalten, dass unsere (bereits bestätigte und bezahlte) Übernachtung seitens des Hotels storniert wurde. Weder per Telefon noch per Mail war jemand zu erreichen um den Grund zu erfahren. Ich reise seit vielen Jahren durch die ganze Welt so etwas habe ich noch nie erlebt, ganz schwach!

Tout se passe à merveille accueil très sympathique quelle bonheur très belle chambre piscine salle de sport on y est pour une nuit dommage loin de Lyon sinon on serait revenu on est tellement bien qu’on a plus envie de partir très reposant

Nous avons passé une excellente nuit au château. Les produits mis à disposition sont d'excellente qualité : literie, linge de bain, produits. L'emplacement est idéal et invite à la déconnexion. Le petit déjeuner est diversifié et propose des produits de région ce qui est parfait pour faire de jolies découvertes. C'est avec grand plaisir que nous reviendrons. A très vite :)

Lovely stay at Château Meyre and we would definitely come back.

Beautiful old Château with some rooms in the main original building, and some in the extension. Not all rooms had AC - ours didn't, but it was still quite cool with the shutters and a good tower fan. All very classic but not dated or tired - a very comfy room.

The pool and gym are very good. There are bikes to hire, though we didn't realise €25 per bike until we paid the bill - rather too expensive! Bikes were tough going on the sandy vineyard paths - would give them a miss and just walk to be honest.

We did a vineyard tour and tasted Château Meyre and Gallen - quite a short tour and felt like it should have been included in the stay since it wasn't very long or comprehensive. Best way to enjoy the wine here is to buy a couple bottles, order a charcuterie/cheese board, and enjoy it in the gardens out the front of the château. The wine is excellent and the boards were superb.

Breakfast was very good with eggs cooked to order and local pastries. There are self-service coffee machines available all day.

Service was very warm and the hotel is super relaxed.

We look forward to hopefully returning one day to this lovely spot!

Séjour fabuleux au château Meyre. Nous avons été reçus par l’équipe du château de façon fantastique. Ils étaient aux petits soins que ce soit pour la visite et la dégustation, le dîner sous la tonnelle, le petit déjeuner dans la salle a manger. |Tout était parfait et la piscine chauffée à 24 degrés bien appréciable avec notre bébé !|De plus, les tarifs des vins sont tout à fait corrects. Je recommande le château Meyre à déguster avec modération. |Encore merci pour cet épisode de vacances tout à fait charmant et dépaysant !

Très belle découverte. Un hôtel chaleureux au pied des vignes, à la décoration très soignée. Le personnel est très attentionné. Petit déjeuner copieux et varié. Mention spéciale à Mari, passionnée et pétillante, qui nous a guidés avec enthousiasme dans la découverte du domaine et du chais, et qui nous a ensuite servi un snacking sur la terrasse avec une attention et une gentillesse remarquables. Nous reviendrons !

Free parking.
Location is excellent, you are at the Margaux and other Medoc wineries within a few minutes of driving.
spacious, recently renovated and clean rooms each with its own personality (and colour on walls).
Staff super friendly and welcoming from the moment of check in - the lady even helped carry the baggage to the room upstairs.
She provided sheets for restaurants and châteaux around the area.
We had booked the wine tour & tasting accompanied with the platter which I recommend.
The pool is also great, and you can order their wines and cheese platters throughout the day.

The breakfast is extensive, you can order eggs as well.

Une parenthèse très agréable loin de la ville. Calme et tranquillité rythment le quotidien avec comme bruit de fond le chant des oiseaux.
Un accueil et un service exceptionnel, le personnel est aux petits soins.
Un très beau lieu, confortable avec une décoration soignée.
Nous avons hâte de revenir.

We had a wonderful stay at Chateau Meyre. The grounds were beautiful. We arrived late in the evening and had a delicious (and huge!) plate of cheeses, meats, and fruits, not to mention the Chateau's wine:)

The rooms were cozy and the shower had nice pressure.

Breakfast was great, and we relaxed and read outside in the sun. Sophie was our hero! When our taxi ride to the train station canceled she offered us a ride. This was an act of kindness that we will never forget.

Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

Nous avons passé un excellent week-end !
L'établissement est magnifique. La chambre est agréable, spacieuse. Cet hôtel est bien situé, dans un joli cadre pour les visites, balades à vélo dans les environs ou la détente dans le jardin ou la piscine chauffée.
Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la gentillesse et les attentions du personnel !
La restauration était très bonne, avec des produits frais !

Rode in on horses. Enjoyed the relaxing pool and comfortable beds. We had the Gaia room on the first floor which had a bathtub. Lovely spacious room with tea/coffee services, fluffy robes, towels, a chaise and desk.

Breakfast was generous with pastries, breads, yogurts, meats, cheeses, and eggs.

The grounds are lovely and inviting.

The nearby road is loud and busy. Keeping the windows closed was helpful.

Abbiamo soggiornato con una coppia di amici e fin da subito ci siamo innamorati della location e dell’atmosfera, il tutto grazie all’estrema ospitalità di Sophie che ci ha accolti con estrema gentilezza! Possibilità di degustare i loro vini, molto buoni, nel salotto du Chateux incorniciato da un romantico camino accesso giusto per noi! Possibilità di aggiungere una ricca colazione con prodotti da forno locali, portati ogni mattina!
Non vediamo l’ora di ritornarci!
