Nice hotel in a convenient spot, the bed was comfortable, the shower was hot with good pressure and the room was clean and had everything I needed. Nice touch with the glass refillable water bottles.
Lots of busy restaurants on the street, but I didn’t hear a thing with the window closed.
The hotel is across the park from the train and tram, just a few minutes walk.

Sehr schönes Hotel in absoluter Top-Lage!

We stayed here in June 2025 for three nights. We reserved a “Double Intemporelle/Timeless” room in this 4-star hotel. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The location is excellent for accessing the train station, walking to restaurants, and visiting sights. However, the “service” provided by this hotel pales in comparison to the 11 other 4-star and 3-star hotels during our 6-week trip. At check-in, they encourage guests to forego any/all service to the room throughout their stay in exchange for a glass of champagne. The rooms do not have mini refrigerators, nor do they have hot water kettles available for use in the rooms. There is a small coffee pod machine. However, all the cups are paper and are too small for the coffee that is brewed. The machine overflowed each paper cup with every use. In their efforts to be “greener” by foregoing service to the rooms, they only provide single-use paper cups that ultimately create more waste and mess with each use (rather than providing ceramic cups or mugs that can be reused). And while we were told we could request additional room supplies (toilet paper, towels, more coffee pods), each request left us feeling like we were imposing on the front desk staff. The towel heater rack did not work in our room, so towels were unable to dry between uses. The room safe did not work because its battery was dead. The remote control for our TV was not fully functional. We were left to wonder if any hotel staff member checks the workability of items in the rooms during room servicing to ensure the next guest has a fully functional room upon arrival. Note that we never saw any housekeeping staff members at any point during our 3-night stay.||We decided to try the hotel’s breakfast our first morning there. It is very overpriced at €23 per person. While they advertise that the breakfast includes “pastries and breads,” neither of these types of items were included or available (we arrived in the restaurant at 8:50 am). When we asked about the lack of these items, the response was a shrug of the shoulders and “may be an issue with the bakery.” We did not eat breakfast at the Hotel Continental on the remaining days of our visit. Instead, we went to the Best Western (6 doors down). Their breakfast was very reasonably priced (€13.50 per person), had all the usual French breakfast options, and was very tasty. We found that the price, value, and food offerings at the Best Western far surpassed the overpriced and limited offerings at the Hotel Continental.||Part of the reason we selected this hotel is because it was listed in the Rick Steves guidebook for Reims. However, this hotel seemed to be too reliant on that guidebook recommendation. There are numerous other lodging options that are on this same street with equally excellent location to trains, restaurants, and sights. We recommend that guests carefully weigh all other lodging options before selecting Hotel Continental. If we happen to stay overnight in Reims again, we would seek lodging elsewhere.

Great rooms and the double beds were king size. AC helped with the heat wave going on.

Really excellent hotel. It was centrally located. The restaurant was frequented by locals. It had the best food at the lowest price than any other restaurant we visited in France for 14 days.

Hotel bem localizado em uma rua com muitos restaurantes e próximo ao comércio. Para visitar as caves é necessário ir de carro ou por transfer de agência.|O quarto não é dos maiores, mas com boas amenidades, roupa de cama e banho ótimas, chuveiro bom e há um filtro de água disponível na recepção.|Café da manhã bom, com variedade.|O hotel não tem estacionamento, mas há um publico (pago) bem em frente, fácil de estacionar.

Everyone was very friendly and accommodating during our stay. We would stay here again in the future.

We were a group of 13 staying the region for 6 days and the easy access to the train station was great. They had a nice breakfast in the morning and the restaurant/bar was available for food and drinks all day. The concierge service helped tremendously with transportation, some dinner reservations and even assisted one of our customers mailing a large antique trunk. All in all, a good experience and would stay there again.

Great housekeeping

We booked as a large group to visit, staying for 2 nights. The email communication was great and they were really helpful and efficient. The check in was good and quick, rooms were very small but clean and comfortable. The bar staff were excellent.

Je ne sais pas d'où viennent les 4 étoiles, à part le prix exorbitant!
En dehors du personnel de l'accueil absolument charmant et serviable...rien n'y est:
- Il faut payer un forfait pour le parking non compris dans le prix!
- Les chambres sont plus basiques que des Formule 1; chambre avec 2 petits lits, aucune lumière ou liseuse, un seul interrupteur général.
- Chambre pour 4 avec une armoire à peine plus grande que pour 1 personne, 1 seule charlotte pour la douche.
- La porte d'une des 2 chambres ne ferme qu'en forçant et tapant dedans (les traces dans le cadre valident le fait que c'est ainsi depuis bien longtemps)
- Le verrou de la porte d'entrée ne fonctionne pas
- Salle de bain avec traces de calcaire et un miroir branlant accroché avec un clou au mur.
- Le bar...tout le personnel est stressé par un des superviseurs. Impossible de décrocher un sourire malgré leur tentative de paraitre à l'aise.
Bref, nous avons comparé les tarifs avec le 5 étoiles de Reims et pour 20% plus cher nous aurions eu une suite Duplex.

Wonderful location in the heart of Reims, the continental is comfortable, unpretentious, it has a wonderful bar and their staff? I can’t say enough nice things about them. They were incredibly helpful during our stay, and we are very grateful for their hospitality. We would definitely go back.||The one thing I will caution you on is that it is in the heart of the entertainment district with lots of restaurants so there is lots of noise that goes on late into the night. But if you’re a night owl, you’ll be right at home! And the restaurants in the area are fabulous.

We were very impressed with our stay at The Continental and the great staff. The hotel was way above our expectations, our room, (more like a suite) was stunning with two balconies overlooking the park and pedestrian mall. The property appeared to have recently been totally refurbished to a very high standard. Five stars for the price of 4. R&J Brisbane, Australia

Good hotel with a great location. Our room was very comfortable and surprisingly quiet given we were on the first floor overlooking the main street. The hotel restaurant is good and we enjoyed cocktails and champagne in the bar. A great option for a few nights stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is an old building but has been completely renovated - fairly modern but the decor has a nod to history. All the staff were delightful - friendly attentive and welcoming. A nice touch for those who like to save the planet - you are given a glass water bottle for your room on arrival which you fill up at the water cooler in reception when you run out - and even better - you can opt not to have your room serviced and get a glass of champagne in the bar to compensate.|The hotel was immaculately clean, beds very comfortable and dinner and breakfast in the restaurant both excellent. |Parking - very handily there is a very large underground car park right outside the front door; don't panic if you can't find a space to start with as there are 5 levels and there seemed to be plenty of space lower down - you use a lift to get out anyway. Use the entry ticket to pay at the meter on the street level (above ground) (you can buy a multi day pass). We did have problems getting the barrier to lift, but there is an attendant near to the barrier, so we did manage to escape. |What's not to like? Would definitely stay theer if we go back to Reims.

L'hôtel est situé au cœur de Reims son emplacement est idéal. La parking public en sous terrain possède une sortie juste devant l'entrée de l'hôtel. Le service est de bonne qualité. L'accueil est excellent et soigné. L'ensemble du personnel est souriant et sympathique. Le restaurant est très bon. Le prix des vins est un peu exagéré tout comme le petit déjeuner à 23 euros par rapport aux choix. Néanmoins c'est une excellente adresse.

Our experience at the Continental Hotel was excellent from start to finish. We were on a road trip and called the hotel earlier that morning to see if they could prepare our rooms ahead of check-in. Tom at the front desk went above and beyond to make that happen, and our rooms were ready when we arrived—huge thanks to him for the seamless welcome!||A special shout-out to Benjamin at the concierge desk. We hadn’t booked any champagne cellar tours in advance, but he worked his magic and secured us four last-minute tickets to Ruinart. He gave us all the details—pricing, attire, logistics—and handled everything with efficiency and care. Truly some of the best concierge service we’ve ever experienced.||As for the room, we stayed in a junior suite that was spacious, bright, and beautifully comfortable. The bed was fantastic, and the shower was phenomenal. The only small hiccup was that the room got a bit warm at night, and the A/C took a little adjusting. But overall, it didn’t take away from a great stay.||If we return to Reims, we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

The parking accommodations at the Continental Hotel were extraordinarily difficult and created an enormous amount of stress. I would highly recommend for travelers to seek accommodations OUTSIDE of the city of Reims or bypass the city altogether. We witnessed a young couple backing out of their car and side swiping another car in the parking lot below the Continental Hotel. They drove off without even looking back.|While the hotel staff showed some amount of empathy, it was clear that they had no control over the situation. This should serve as a warning to all travelers to seek accommodations elsewhere.

We were absolutely happy with our choice. Restaurant and bar made an excellent appearance, though we just had one drink.

Chambre basique pour un 4 étoiles: doco, simple, surface mal organisée, pas bouilloire, gobelets en carton, peu de rangement. Dédales de couloirs intérieurs et extérieurs pour arriver à la chambre.
Rapport qualité prix plus que moyen.
Il doit probablement avoir une meilleur rapport qualité prix dans les environs.

Nous sommes venus ce 1er mai pour manger en famille, personnel serviable, gentil et nous avons bien mangé. Malgré tout beaucoup d'erreur de compréhension suite a notre commande.. salle de réception réservé pour nous mais mal nettoyé.. dommage ...

Et fermeture du resto plus tôt pour éviter trop de clients le midi .. allez comprendre.

The Continental Hotel was very luxurious, rooms are on the small side but very well appointed. Beds are comfortable and bath products upscale. Location is great for seeing the sights of Reims. We had a tasting dinner with champagne that was top notch

This is no longer a 4 star hotel. Stayed a few years ago and was impressed. This years visit the hotel was a huge disappointment.

Tired room, with paper and plastic cups in the rooms, no cutlery, spoons, bottle opener, choice of water. Very few towels. No bath robe. No mini bar.

Very poor breakfast - steamed bacon, steamed sausages, poor service, poor coffee.

Over priced for this level of service. More like a 3-star hotel.

We visited Reims in March. ||The hotel is perfectly located on the edge of the main pedestrianised area. Perfect for visiting the endless amounts of cafes and restaurants, waling distance to Notre Dame and the Champagne cellars. ||Staff were welcoming in all areas. We only had breakfast and drinks at the bar so sadly couldn't advise on dinner. ||The rooms were well appointed and comfortable.||I would happily stay here again.

Lieu idéal pour organiser une réunion et déjeuner.
Un personnel aux petits soins comme tout établissement haut de gamme qui se respecte.
Un salle qualitative.
Un emplacement hyper central, gare à 2 min et parking au pied , sur la place d’Erlon.
Une qualité de restauration qui situe l’établissement dans un excellent rapport qualité-prix.
Vivement la prochaine fois à Reims.
