Beautiful hotel. Stepped in history that the staff were happy to tell us about when asked. Rooms clean and tidy. Staff were wonderful with us none french speakers.

Struttura a 10 minuti a piedi dal centro con comodo parcheggio interno. Abbiamo alloggiato nelle camere adiacenti alla struttura principale. Camera Silenziosa confortevole, ben arredata anche se piccolina. Colazione ricca e con prodotti di qualità. Abbiamo provato anche il ristorante dell’albergo ed è stata un’ottima esperienza. Personale gentilissimo.

This is a beautiful hotel with a heavenly garden and terrace. We were staying in the superior family room and we loved it. The room has the original wooden beams.|The service was excellent. The rooms very clean with tea facilities.|Especially would like to mention Greg at the reception, who was very helpful, nice and very professional Gentleman.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay in Hotel Clos d’Amboise! The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. Our room was beautiful and comfortable. The little touches made it very special, including the soap products in the bathroom that smell delicious. We enjoyed a very special dinner in their restaurant. It truly reminded us of the only 3 Michelin Star restaurant in our home region. The hotel is located in a walkable small town near to many sights and wonderful restaurants and cafes. We would highly recommend Hotel Clos d’Amboise!

The exterior of the hotel is lovely as is the garden. I have no idea what the rooms in the manor house are like, but Do Not stay in the renovated stables. The walls are paper thin, only 2 sconces above the bed for light, and one side of the bed was against the the wall with the luggage rack at the foot. No way to get in or out without asking the person on the outside to get up, TRAPPED! There are no lifts, a staircase with no carpet, so incredibly loud when others leave or return. Two young women checked us in, so No one to assist with luggage up the stairs. The breakfast was lovely as was the restaurant for dinner.

A wonderful hotel located in Amboise. It's more expensive than others we stayed at in the area but the rooms are beautiful and large and I would recommend the hotel. Our room in the annex had a small table outside of it where we ate our breakfast that we had bought in the local market.

Very nice hotel with a wonderful breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff who had no problems getting us into the room we had pre-booked even though the room was accidentally booked for two people and there were three of us.

We loved staying at this hotel! It was adorable and charming with cute decor in our spacious room that overlooked the garden. Staff were incredibly helpful in providing recommendations for places in town, helping with our luggage and arranging transportation. We loved having a glass of wine in the courtyard in the evenings and loved the food at the hotel's restaurant. Overall an excellent, authentic Amboise exerpience and we look forward to our return!

Un premier séjour mais certainement pas le dernier.||Les lieux sont magnifiques : hôtel, jardin, piscine ... Le service et l'accueil sont excellents, de même que les conseils pour découvrir la région. La cheffe et sa brigade font un travail remarquable : les repas sont succulents! Une très belle équipe disponible, souriante et présente. A recommander sans hésitation!

Client depuis plusieurs années, nous avons passé un excellent séjour, où tout est pensé pour le bien-être des clients( et des petits chiens ).Chambres confortables, propres et bien équipées, mais le vrai coup de coeur reste la restauration.Une cuisine raffinée, inventive et savoureuse, le tout servi avec professionnalisme et gentillesse. Enchantée de notre séjour, très bel hôtel bien situé, personnel très avenant donnant de très bons conseils tant pour les restaurants que pour les visites . Décoration soignée , possibilité d'acquérir des produits dérivés souvenirs de très bon gout et d'excellents produits de terroirs . Seul bémol personnel, lit pas assez ferme pour moi et trop petit car habitué à un 180

What a beautiful and comfortable place to enjoy Amboise. Our room was lovely, quiet and very clean. Nice modern bathroom and a view to the lovely garden. The breakfast was excellent and the location convenient to everything in Amboise. Welcoming and helpful staff made our stay even more enjoyable. We hope to return to beautiful Amboise and would definitely stay here again

Hôtel charmant, très calme. Chambres très propres.
Accueil très chaleureux, y compris avec nos enfants qui étaient nombreux.
Restaurant : rapport qualité prix rarement retrouvé avec un menu à 33 euros gastronomique et excellent. Petit déjeuner dans un cadre très agréable et de qualité.
Etablissement situé à quelques minutes de l'abbaye de Fontevraux, et 1h du Puy du fou.
Nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

We stayed here for a week while cycle touring the surrounding Louire Valley region. The hotel is a lovely old building just a short walk from the center of the delightful town of Amboise. All the staff are wonderful, helpful and helped me with my dreadful French. Our room, in the old stables overlooked the gardens and house and we loved every second we spent there. Hot air balloons over the garden every morning added magic to the experience!
Breakfast every morning was amazing and set us up for our big cycling trips around the vineyards and Sunflower fields.
Be sure to eat at the restaurant in the evening - it's going to be one of your "best ever" dining experiences (make your reservation when you arrive, it is deservingly popular).
When we return to this part of the Louire Valley we will stay here again.
