This is a lovely bed and breakfast in a beautiful farm house. The rooms are spacious and the property is beautiful. There is lots of outdoor space to sit and relax and have a drink. It is a short walk into town through a cute neighborhood. Our hosts were very attentive, helpful, and very friendly. We would highly recommend staying here when visiting Amboise.

Maybe the best place I've ever stayed at in France. Aude made sure to make me feel like home and location is perfect for those going across the Val de la Loire. My bedroom was extremely comfortable, rustic-styled and spotless clean. Totally recommend it!!

Wir hatten für unseren Aufenthalt ein großes und mit schönen alten Möbeln eingerichtetes Zimmer, welches über ein geräumiges Badezimmer verfügte. Hervorzuheben ist die Sauberkeit. Ebenfalls positiv zu bewerten ist das gute Frühstück. Die Gastgeber, Aude und Rob, sind sehr angenehme Menschen, ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Manoir können wir für einen Aufenthalt nur empfehlen.

The Manoir de la Maison Blanche is like a small village where everyone is welcome to share good fellowship and to pretend that the ample grounds of the fruit and vegetable farm and the horses, llamas and chickens are their own. The 17th century room lodgings are beautiful with their ancient walls and ceilings. Aude and Rob set a tone of friendship among the guests and also including themselves, which leads to amazing conversations about shared experiences and interests on the open patio. When we are next in need of a relaxing break from hectic lives, we will return to stay with our new true friends Aude and Rob.

In spite of not giving five star reviews to everything, we loved this place. The setting is beautiful but it's a bit away from town so you miss that village experience. Our room was up a spiral staircase so we ended up leaving our big suitcases in our car. You do not want to be in an upstairs bedroom there if you have any kind of physical disabilities. On the other hand, our room was huge and was very comfortable so it did not turn out to be a problem for us. Aude is a lovely hostess. If you stay there, plan on having a French picnic dinner outside in one of their many seating areas. It's extremely pleasant, quiet, and essentially bug-free at least during our visit in early June. My biggest complaint is I never found the llama!

One of the best places we have ever stayed. The setting was lovely and our room was spacious and very comfortable. But the highlight of our stay was our hosts, Rob and Aude. They went out of their way to make us feel at home! If you are visiting Amboise you should definitely stay here!!!!

Rob (English) and Auld (French) were outstanding hosts and gave that wow factor by arranging their classic car owning friends to meet us, and to put us in contact with Daniel Gatay for a memorable wine tasting on the premises. The Manoir is a lovely place and located within a 25 minute walk of the delightful history bars and restaurants of Amboise old town. One of our best classic car travelling experience’s with friends.

We weren't quite sure what to expect - we knew it was wonderful, but the reality exceeded our expectations. The hosts, Rob and Aude, were most welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. It is a peaceful and tranquil location, yet very near the centre of Amboise. The house is set on a huge plot of land with hundreds of trees, including several huge sequoias. There are birds everywhere and every day we heard a cuckoo. On our last day a hot air balloon passed really low overhead and appeared to land in the next property. Our room was delightful, well furnished and with a very comfortable bed. There is also a communal kitchen area with seating and a fridge where you can socialise and prepare a simple meal. There is also seating and tables outside in the courtyard. Breakfast was a simple affair of bread, pastries and fruit, with tea, coffee and fruit juice, served in an airy and spacious room with windows all around. Add to this two llamas, two horses, four cats and two dogs and it is a rural haven. If you want to stay in a beautiful home this is for you.

Rob and Aud were excellent hosts and made our stay here very comfortable and enjoyable.
The grounds, courtyard and rooms were gorgeous and we had a delicious breakfast too!

Un luogo fantastico, a pochi minuti dal centro di Amboise ma totalmente immerso nel verde. I proprietari sono degli ospiti perfetti, accoglienti e simpatici. Se volete visitare i castelli della zona dovete assolutamente soggiornare presso il Manoir de la Maison Blanche!

We had a lovely stay here as part of a road trip around France. The accommodation and hosts are very charming and our room was large, well equipped and very homely. The bed was comfortable and the views over the gardens were peaceful. Amboise is a beautiful town with lots of nice bars and places to eat.|I wish we had stayed longer.

Un sitio muy especial, con encanto, super tranquilo, he dormido como en casa de mi abuela, el desayuno estupendo en sala acogedora con chimenea, los anfitriones de 10. El gato muy simpático. Muchas gracias Aude y Rob ánimo aprendiendo francés.

Très grande maison avec plusieurs corps de bâtiments, aménagée avec goût, très agréable à vivre, dans un écrin de verdure exceptionnel. Accueil extrêmement sympathique des propriétaires Aude et Rob qui vous laissent vous sentir "chez vous" tout en étant là si nécessaire. Je n’ai pas vu le lama et les chevaux mais des chats doux et mignons.
Très bien situé pour accéder à tous les sites de la ville (Clos Lucé, château royal d’Amboise, Pagode de Chanteloup, château Gaillard, château de Valmer etc) l’endroit est parfait, calme et reposant. Idéal pour les enfants qui peuvent jouer librement dans le grand parc.

What a place! if I could give 6 stars I would. Beautifully maintained old manor set in lovely grounds with magnificent trees. Spacious, tastefully decorated rooms with ancient beams, antique furniture and comfy beds. Only a stone's throw from the centre of Amboise. Charming hosts who speak excellent English. There's even a little kitchen for the guests. Can't wait to go back!

Für die Gastgeberin: Annick, für die Unterkunft: ein herrliches Herrenhaus, für die Zimmer: liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber, für die Außenanlagen: ein wundervoller, kleiner Park mit Tieren und für das Frühstück: mit selbstgemachten Konfitüren und der täglich wechselnden Brotsorten vergeben wir die volle Punktzahl. Wir verbrachten mehrere Tage in diesem reizenden Kleinod. Annick ist eine so bezaubernde, fröhliche und aufmerksame Gastgeberin, die einem das Gefühl gibt zu Hause zu sein und zur Familie zu gehören. Sie gab uns wertvolle Tipps für Kultur und Restaurants.
Amboise ist ein hervorragender und im Loire Valley zentral liegender Ausgangsort für die Erkundungen der phantastischen Schlösser, wir würden stets wieder ins La Maison Blanche kommen und es unseren Bekannten und Freunden empfehlen.

A welcoming host and pleasant, unusual accommodation in its own grounds. Quiet position with good parking. Useful shared kitchen. Everything very clean.||We were in room 4. Be aware this is accessed by an awkward 20 step external spiral staircase which is tricky to negotiate with luggage.||Breakfast is reasonably good but as we stayed four nights we would have welcomed more variety. The town centre and it's restaurants are a long thirty minutes walk away so plan ahead.

This is a delightful B&B in every way. The owner was pleasant and a great source of travel guidance. The facility, grounds and rooms are charming, very relaxing and comfortable. Its location is great for seeing the amazing chateaus and sites in the Loire Valley. The village of Amboise is also a fun place to hang out, eat and drink wine! We would definitely come back here.

Serene, relaxing BnB in a rural setting, yet only 10 minutes walk from Clos de Luce. If you like animals, there are 2 well-behaved friendly cats and 1 sweet dog on the property along with 2 horses and a llama! The proprietors, Annick, and her adult daughter both speak English. They are so kind and welcoming, you feel right at home immediately. There is a small kitchen open to guests with a fridge and microwave, The room I had was a converted old stable with so much character! It was shady and cool, despite the 95 degree temps on my first day. (There is also a fan!) Relax in the evenings in the lovely courtyard and enjoy a simple dinner with a glass of local wine among the trees. You’ll love it here!

Wat een geweldige B&B. Annick is de meest lieve, gezellige, hartverwarmende vrouw die je je maar kan wensen. Het voelde meteen als thuiskomen. We hadden geboekt voor 5 nachtjes maar wilde graag nog een nachtje extra blijven, dit was geen enke probleem. Kamers zijn super schoon, ontbijt is heerlijk, omgeving en ligging zijn perfect. Elke avond met de fiets naar Amboise gegaan om te eten. De ligging is perfect, heerlijk rustig en alles wat je nodig hebt. Een keukentje, genoeg terrasjes voor elke kamer, de mega lieve hond en kat (wat een schatten), maar het is vooral de gastvrouw wat het verblijf helemaal af maakt. Nog een dikke knuffel bij het weggaan. Een vrouw die je vanaf dag 1 in je hart sluit. Ik ga ze nog missen nu we weer thuis zijn.

Magnifique séjour chez notre hôte Annick. L'endroit est calme et relaxant avec des chevaux et des lamas appartenant à la propriétaire. Annick s'occupe du lieu presque seule et cela force notre admiration. La maison est au milieu d'un parc et est entourée de splendides arbres dont des séquoias immenses. Nous avions la plus grande chambre dans la maison principale, la plupart des autres chambres se trouvant dans une bâtisse indépendante située juste à quelques mètres en face. Chambre très grande et très agréable avec belle salle de bain et des WC indépendants. Petit déjeuner parfait avec des produits frais et d'excellentes confitures maison. Idéalement situé à 5 minutes en voiture de la ville d'Amboise et de son château. A 20 minutes de Chenonceau ou Chaumont, 1 petite heure à peine de Chambord et à 45 minutes du Zoo Parc de Beauval (à faire absolument). Il y a tellement de châteaux à visiter dans le coin et de belles forêts, Difficile de choisir mais impossible de s'ennuyer. Je recommande le logement, parfait pour une déconnection de son quotidien avec un accueil chaleureux, à un prix tout à fait correct et parfaitement situé pour découvrir notre magnifique patrimoine.

Un manoir enchanteur et charmant tenu par Annick dont l'accueil est particulièrement chaleureux et riche en échanges. Loulou la mascotte de l'établissement en impose sacrément aussi ;o)

A proximité de lieux incontournables à visiter notamment en cette période de fêtes (décorations admirables) et de mets à découvrir (les chocolats de chez Bigot par exemple : plus de 100 ans de savoir faire), nous avons passé la transition 2023 / 2024 dans un lieu magique. Merci beaucoup Annick pour votre hospitalité. Au plaisir de poser de nouveau nos bagages dans votre établissement. Angé et Nico.

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour.
Le logement est très proche des pôles touristiques.
Accueil, comfort, petit-déjeuner, impeccables.
Le Manoir a beaucoup de cachet également et se trouve dans un endroit très calme.

C'était notre deuxième séjour à la Maison Blanche et cela n'a fait que renforcer notre opinion qu'Annick est l'une des meilleures hôtesses du Val de Loire ! Le petit déjeuner continental est composé des meilleurs pains et pâtisseries frais que vous puissiez imaginer et les chambres sont impeccables et joliment équipées. Annick est très accommodante et prête à vous aider si vous avez besoin de quoi que ce soit. S'asseoir dans la cour est un plaisir à tout moment de la journée et un endroit charmant pour un verre de vin avant le dîner ! Si vous y allez, ne manquez pas les chevaux et les lamas ! Continuez à faire du bon travail, Annick ! J'espère vous revoir bientôt !
