We booked the hotel for our anniversary mixed with business trip. We got a charming room, nicely appointed. Beautiful view to French village street. Service was impeccable, at the hotel and the restaurant. staff was very professional, gracious and accommodating, especially Maxime, he seemed to be everywhere and do everything.
The hotel exceeded our expectations and made our anniversary very special. We will definitely be back.

A great, luxury place at the heart of atmospheric Beaune. Super friendly staff throughout, with a special mention of valet parking, Everything up to date and modern, but housed in an old mansion. Brilliant bed, great pillows, perfect breakfast buffet. Of course, all this luxury comes with a price. But then again, c'est la vie...

Extremely comfortable hotel in central Beaune, with underground parking available if pre-booked. Great AC and a memorable spa experience with NUXE products. Slightly chaotic reception and we weren't greeted with a smile but I would stay again as it was so comfortable and convenient plus the spa was amazing! We stayed for one night enroute from Provence driving north.. this isn't a cheap option however.

Un lieu magnifique pour un moment inoubliable
Nous avons passé un excellent moment à l’Hôtel Cèdre à Beaune. Le cadre est tout simplement superbe, avec des jardins ravissants qui invitent à la détente. Tout est soigné, du service à l’ambiance. Les produits sont de grande qualité, qu’il s’agisse du petit déjeuner, du bar ou des prestations en chambre.
Un véritable écrin de calme et d’élégance, parfait pour un séjour en couple. Ma femme et moi en gardons un souvenir chaleureux et précieux. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

À conseiller : ancienne gentilhommière magnifiquement rénovée .
Joli Parc entouré de murs et bien au calme .

I have never written a review before so the fact that I am writing this should give you a sense of how poorly my experience here was. But first, let me talk about the positives of this hotel:

1) It is a beautiful hotel with a very nice spa and has a wonderful courtyard with delightful food and wine
2) It is very accessible to the historic section of Beune within walking distance of all the major attractions, restaurants and other activities.

The main problem I have had with this hotel is that they told me they would pack my luggage into the car, yet they forgot to pack one bag that contained my passports, credit cards, and orher essentials that were needed for our trip in Europe.

We left our hotel and they finally contacted us a few hours later to tell us they forgot to include one of our bags, but by then we were hours away.

Instead of trying to resolve this problem that they had created, they asked for $1300 Euro!!! to have a driver deliver our bag to us 4 hours away. Obviously this was not acceptable to me, and instead they offered to ship the package overnight to us in our next hotel for $200 Euro which of course we had to pay for, instead of them for the mistake they made.

Instead of using a reputable shipping provider, they chose to use the unreliable “Chronopost”. It has now been 5 days and our “overnight” package has not been delivered to us and we will need to go to US consulate to get issued new passports and overall our trip has been ruined because they made a mistake in packing our bags. They have made zero attempt to help resolve this situation on our behalf and have accepted zero responsibility for their mistake.

Yes, it’s a beautiful hotel. Yes they have a wonderful spa. Yes they are close to the attractions. But they do not treat their customers with the attention and respect they deserve, especially at the prices they are charging for staying there.

EDITING REVIEW TO RESPOND TO HOTEL:
- you say you tried to call and also sent an email… perhaps you could have tried text message as well. I would encourage you to try AS MANY OPTIONS as possible to get in touch with a guest
- $1300 Euro to drove 3.5 hours is unacceptable and is a clear attempt to pry money from your guests.
- charging $250 euro to “overnight” ship their package and then using an unreliable service instead of DHL is unacceptable
- Chronopost told me the cost for this delivery would have only been about $50 euro so I am unsure why I was charged $250 euro by your team. Again this seems like an obvious attempt to pry money from your guests.

We loved everything about this hotel. We were visiting on our honeymoon and received the warmest welcome of all the places we stayed on our two week trip here. The grounds are wonderful and breakfast was excellent. We had already eaten a big lunch on the day we arrived so didn't have dinner in the restaurant, but it looked gorgeous and we would absolutely do so next time! Our only regret was that we didn't stay longer :)

Best hotel in beaune in terms of location , service, food and ualiry, comfort and cleanliness. We used their e-bikes and mini Moke in the vineyard secondary routes, simply magic

We had a fantastic 3-night stay at Hostellerie Cèdre in Beaune this past May and can’t say enough good things about it. We booked a Privilege Room, which was spacious, modern, and impeccably clean. The layout was thoughtful, with the bathroom nicely separated from the bedroom area—something we really appreciated.

The location is unbeatable: just a short walk to Beaune’s incredible restaurants and a quick drive to explore some of Burgundy’s best wineries. The hotel made our special occasion even more memorable by surprising us with balloons and a sweet treat in the room—a lovely and personal touch.

Evenings started perfectly with well-crafted drinks at the cozy hotel bar. We also had a car and were grateful for the valet service, as the garage is quite tight and the assistance made things so much easier.

Everything about our stay was top-notch. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

This is an outstanding hotel and I can recommend every aspect in the highest terms. The room was the nicest and most convenient one we had on our whole trip. Breakfast and dinner on the terrace was outstanding

the spa is amazing , the staff are super nice it is 20 minutes from the route of the grands cru (all wineries)

We have been staying at the Cedre for many years and have been consistently impressed with the level of service and the quality of the rooms. The hotel is perfectly located both to explore Beaune and as a base to tour the surrounding area. We are usually driving from the UK to the south of France and their underground, secure car park is a bonus.

This is a beautiful hotel with the perfect location for a day trip wine tasting or a walk into the village. ||The service and staff as well as the food and drink are all five stars. ||Breakfast is well prepared with a wide variety of menu items and the outside patio is a great place to eat just have a pre dinner spritz. ||What can be said about dinner ? Make reservations early and leave plenty of time. You will be amazed by the courses and the surprises. ||A gastronomic ride you will enjoy.

Luxury stay in the centre of Beaune, high quality facilities and excellent location, we had a suite which was a good size and comfortable bed, bathroom was well equipped. The bar area was very pleasant to relax after dinner.

Beautiful bar and outdoor area. The bar is a fantastic night spot and the patio is perfect for their tea service. Vegan and gluten free options available.

Superbe expérience : suite junior parfaitement équipée et très conviviale, petit déjeuner excellent, même le bar nous a fait découvrir une planche mixte exceptionnelle. Le SPA (soins, jacuzzi et Hammam sans piscine/balnéo) et ses caves voûtées est aussi de haut niveau. Et le restaurant gastronomique est l'apothéose avec un menu et son accord de vins qui sont un voyage culinaire et sensoriel, dans un décor et un service si luxueusement français. Enfin, et ce n'est pas si courant même dans un 5*, le personnel est en permanence aux petits soins et surtout extrêmement aimable et serviable : parking, accueil, bar, petit-déjeuner, SPA et restaurant. Simplement un sans faute et pourtant nous en avons vu beaucoup d'autres. A expérimenter ne serait-ce que pour un repas ou une nuit. Merci pour ce moment mémorable et simplement parfait.

Wonderful hotel situated conveniently walking distance from the main square. The staff is exceptional and attentive. Everything at the hotel is first class. We very much enjoyed our stayed.

L'hostellerie est très belle avec un excellent buffet pour le petit déjeuner, bien que un peu cher à 30 euros par personne. Vous trouverez de charmantes boulangeries dans le centre de Beaune. Le spa NUXE est également très agréable, bien que le jacuzzi soit un peu cher. Le personnel est très chaleureux, cependant, il y a eu une petite dispute entre deux collègues concernant le nettoyage d'une table, qui s'est déroulée derrière le bar, ce qui n'était pas très professionnel. Dans l'ensemble, le cadre est très agréable, mais les chambres sont un peu vieillottes et pourraient bénéficier d'un rafraîchissement.

De passage à Beaune pour une visite en bourgogne nous avons fait une halte à l’hôtel le Cèdre
Nous avons bien fait car de l’accueil au repas du soir à la table étoilée en passant par le petit déjeuner tout était au rendez-vous
