I recently visited Bread Street Kitchen in Dubai for their Sunday roast, and it was a delightful experience overall. The food was as great as you would expect from a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, with delicious roast meats and all the trimmings. The atmosphere was amazing, with a lively yet cozy ambiance that added to the enjoyment of the meal.

However, I must say that the prices were a bit on the higher side, even for Dubai standards. While the quality of the food and the overall experience justified the cost to some extent, it would have been even more enjoyable if the prices were slightly more affordable.

Overall, Bread Street Kitchen is a great choice for a special meal or a treat, offering top-notch food and a wonderful atmosphere, but be prepared to pay a bit more for the experience."

Now, we've been many times to Bread Street, always more than decent food, and we have especially appreciated their brunch.

So for the Saturday after Easter, my wife called and booked us for the brunch, double checking that there was a brunch, since it wasn't mentioned on the website. "Yes ma'am we have brunch on Saturday."

Saturday at 11.37 am, a mere 53 minutes before the brunch is supposed to begin, they call and say "Oh, by the way - you are aware of the fact that there is no brunch today?"

I understand mistakes happen, but the fact that they confirmed it two days prior, and their complete unwillingness to help us out with either creating a brunch package, or coming up with alternatives, left us with a sad aftertaste. Not even the manager would acknowledge that they had made a mistake.

From what we were told, they've stopped brunches altogether now, which is even more sad. But, with the lack of service given, not much of a loss.

Ordered butter chicken, was too sweet as per Indian standard but over all experience was good.

Booked a brunch for 9 people and even had them confirm back to me that they still did brunch. On the same day, 53 min before our brunch, and when we were about to jump in the taxi, they called up to say there was no brunch that day. Just a “sorry” and were not even willing to make a package for us or the kids. Bad!

We visited BSK for the Easter brunch, food was fantastic, great selection and delicious, loved the Easter themed desert section. Kids entertainment was brilliant, bouncy castle, Easter egg hunt, face painting ect. Access to the Aquariam afterwards was a win for the kids too! Only negative was the slow service, had to ask several times for a drink to then have more than one waiter bring the same drink.

Waiting over 20mins to even be asked for a drink. Food awful, service appalling. Gordon Ramsay needs to go fix his own restaurant !

Spring chicken has too much vinegar. Bread and soup are both good. Ice cream has melted when they are served.

We stayed at the Atlantis and went to Ramseys as part of the half-board package with the additional supplement.

Started off really well, staff were great and the starters and bread were really nice. For starters, I had the wagyu meatballs which tasted really good. I was really looking forward to the main and dessert. Unfortunately it was all downhill from there.

I asked for a medium cooked burger for my main, had a few bites and it was in Gordon’s words, bloody raw! It looked like it had just came out of the fridge. As for the taste, I have had better at a Weatherspoons and wouldn’t recommend even if it was cooked properly. We did show the waiter but I was off put and didn’t want another as it didn’t taste great anyway. Nothing was taken off the bill.

For desert I had sticky toffee pudding, nothing special. The starters and bread really showed promise for what was unfortunately poorly executed food with little taste.

Family of four going for Ramsays Sunday roast and wow did it dissapoint! All of us left shocked by the dinner, which was mediocre at best, that Yorkshire pudding must of been made at 8a.m and left to dehydrate for service making it stale, gravy was like water, all the meats bland and tasteless, i was hoping salt bae was around to add a generous sprinkle of Maldon. The trifle was stunningly bad, I'm not sure how something so simple can be made so bad or was it the leftover from the day before, either way for 200aed per head it was a waste of money and time. Would not go back, but not sure they would mind as the service was non existent.

Als ich vor 8 Jahren das erste Video von Gordon Ramsay zum Beef Wellington sah, war ich schockverliebt.
Das beste Stück vom Rind ummantelt mit allen Zutaten die ich verehre, ein Gedicht. Der Fleischgewordene Erlkönig von Goethe auf englischem Porzellan.
Nachdem ich mich derzeit das erste mal in Dubai aufhalte, war vor dem Flug die Reservierung im Bread Street Kitchen bereits gebucht.
Gestern war es soweit. Zum einstimmen auf die geschmackliche Achterbahnfahrt, gönnten wir uns neben guten Cocktails auch ein paar Vorspeisen. Meine Wahl fiel auf “Crab on Toast”. Die Krabbenteile betteten sich auf einer grünen Woge. Wundervoll angerichtet, dass ich es erst nicht essen, sondern in eine Vitrine stellen wollte. Geschmacklich war der Toast fast genau so gut.
Meine Freundin entschied sich für die Wagyu Fleischbällchen. Diese waren ok. Nichts besonderes.

Wir bestellten uns ein ganzes Beef Wellington. Dieses benötigt ca. eine Stunde Zubereitung. Das Ambiente (draußen) war angenehm. Drinnen wäre mir die Musik zum dinieren zu laut gewesen.
Schließlich traf es ein. Das Beef Wellington. Gordans Signature Dish. Die Erscheinung ähnelte Franz Beckenbauer. Eine Lichtgestalt. So etwas kannte ich nur aus dem Fernsehen.
Als ich den ersten Schnitt in das schwarz Gold ummantelten Filet ansetzte, bemerkte ich, dass dieses Gericht nicht leicht und schön zu essen ist. Das Wellington fiel auseinander, so wie gleich einer meiner Träume. Als ich alle Komponenten sicher auf einer Gabel platzieren, und diese zum Mund führen konnte, stieg meine Aufregung. Doch wie Felix Baumgartner fiel die Aufregung in entsetzliche Tiefe als ich den ersten Bissen runterschluckte. Das Gedicht, war doch eher ein überbewerteter Schlager von Helene Fischer. Wir gaben mehr als die Hälfte zurück. Ich hatte glaube ich noch nie ein Essen, was ich nicht essen konnte. Mit Sicherheit noch keines in der Preisklasse. Es schmeckte leider alt, fad und schlecht. Immerhin bekamen wir dadurch einen 25%igen Nachlass bei der Rechnung. Die schwarze Pilz Paste würde ich meinem schlimmsten Feind nicht zumuten wollen. Das lässt sogar ein Labrador liegen.
Der Service war sehr gut und zuvorkommend. Alles in allem durchaus ein Erlebnis. Wie bei einem guten Zahnarzt.

I can not believe the transformation of the place in a year. It has just become mediocre. Undercooked Beef Wellington, overcooked Fish and Chips and a non-juicy burger. And there is always an answer to these like “it is our style” as if we were never been there before :)
Last and worse, the service is terrible. We had to stand up and find the guys looking to our table 3-4 times to add orders, even for the check.

Family dinner on the last night of our vacation. Menu was not extensive, but did have a good variety of options. The service was very good. The salad we got to share was delicious. Scallops were seared perfectly. The other dinner items were all good choices.

First timers,what an amazing experience,ambience,great food and superb 10/10 service.food selection were wings and tuna tartar for starters,for mains,the famous beef wellington for 2 with redwine and ended on a sweet note with sticky toffee pudding.

Definately going back for ribs,lobster and steak next!!

I came here many times, usually getting the beef Wellington. It’s a massive portion for 2 people. If you get the portion for 1 it’s only 1 slice, so way better to get the one for 2 people which is on the picture. I came on Christmas Eve and they didn’t have a Wellington for 2 which was super disappointing! It’s their best seller, they should have enough of it! Desserts are great!

We came for my daughters third birthday after exploring the fish!
The food was excellent, we can definitely recommend the beef Wellington, although it could be for three/four people instead of two! We were totally stuffed afterwards.

Service was great, and the kids menu was brilliant. It was great to see more than just pizza & chips on the kids menu.

I would definitely recommend coming here, with or without children.

We will be back for sure!
