Très belle découverte de cette location avec les propriétaires Gladys et Ian. La chambre est très propre et donne sur la piscine et egalement une vue sur la vallée depuis la terrasse. Le petit déjeuner au calme au bord de la piscine est assez sympathique. On partage le séjour avec le ballet d'hirondelles.

La mise à disposition de boissons fraîches et de glaces nous permet d'être comme à la maison.

Accueil très agréable et mérité d'y revenir.

We have had 2 fantastic meals here this week. The menu is small but the food is fantastic and the hosts were so friendly and welcoming. Lovely relaxed meals in a lovely location and very attentive hosts who are passionate about their restaurant. We would definitely come back if we are in the area again and would love to stay here next time.

The Dordogne and the prehistoric cave paintings have been on my bucket list for many years, but I could never figure out where to stay. Fortunately, I learned about Domaine Lacoste, which is near to just about anything you'd like to see in the Périgord. Even the small town in which it is located - Carsac - is a joy to walk around. We particularly enjoyed the Carsac Water Gardens. Our lovely room opened onto a balcony where we could enjoy a beautiful view. A big plus is the restaurant - we had two dinners there and the food was absolutely delicious. Much (most?) of the ingredients and wine were locally sourced. But best of all, we enjoyed meeting the innkeepers, Ian and Gladys. They are so welcoming and really known and love the area. Would we go back? Recommend this to our friends? Yes!

We had the most wonderful dinner here. Sitting in beautiful gardens the staff were excellent and the food was 5 star ++. We have been to this region many times and can honestly say it was one of the best meals we’ve had. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. We didn’t stay in the accommodation but wish we had! We will definitely be back. Seek it out!!!

Nous avons passé un séjour des plus agréables dans la maison d'hôte de ce couple si chaleureux et accueillant. Dès notre arrivé, nous avons été reçus avec un sourire et une gentillesse sincères qui nous ont tout de suite mis à l'aise ????
La chambre était juste magnifique et décorée avec goût , et une propreté extraordinaire, un véritable cocon pour notre séjour en amoureux.
Le petit-déjeuner servi chaque matin était délicieux, avec des produits locaux frais ????

????????????ce qui nous a le plus marqués, c'est la bienveillance et la générosité de ce couple qui s'est assuré que notre séjour soit parfait en nous conseillant sur les meilleures activités à faire dans la région ????????

We found this little Paradise by surprise looking for a place to eat. The staff was so nice and the food so extraordinary that we dirextly came back two days later.
We did stay at another place theses days, so I cannot reta the accommodation. The place itself is a small island to relax amnd restress. The dinners we had were wonderful.

Domain Lacoste is one of the best places you would ever want to stay in the Dordogne. The hosts Ian and Gladys run a wonderful and cozy B & B. We felt so very welcome from the moment we arrived and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We felt as if we were staying with friends because of the excellent hospitality. The property is well located with a lovely swimming pool, which we used during the warm afternoons. The bedroom was spacious And well equipped.||Ian has restaurant on site and can prepare wonderful meals which were served overlooking the pool. ||We were feeling so rested and relaxed that we would have extended our visit if we not had onward reservations.

Magnifique séjour, une semaine complète dans ce superbe établissement tenu par un couple merveilleux.
La chambre parfaite avec tout le nécessaire, les petits déjeuners à la carte et le restaurant un régal.
Endroit très calme, magnifique piscine et une multitude de choses à faire et découvrir dans un rayon de 50 kilomètres.

I recently stayed at this charming bed and breakfast and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The cleanliness was impeccable, and I felt right at home in the welcoming environment. The food was exceptional, with the chef cooking delicious homemade meals every day and selecting the perfect wines to pair with each dish. The pastry chef made a special tart with pistachios and strawberries on top, which was completely delicious. Both the chef and pastry chef were very respectful and attentive. The town itself was historical, beautiful, peaceful, and safe. Whether you're looking for a peaceful getaway, a romantic retreat, or just a relaxing stay, this bed and breakfast has it all. Additionally, it's the only location in the area with a nice, clean swimming pool, along with updated air conditioning and heating, which made the experience even better. Overall, it was a peaceful and delightful stay. Highly recommended!

Cette table a été une très belle découverte.

Le cadre est dépaysant, les hôtes sont d’une rare gentillesse et ils sont à l’écoute pour que notre séjour se passe au mieux !
La chambre a été d’une propreté irréprochable, tout est mis à notre disposition (serviettes de bain, serviettes de piscine, bouteilles d’eau, cafetière avec capsules…) et un coup de ménage est proposé à la moitié du séjour.
Le restaurant est délicieux ! Il faut absolument y manger si vous passez par le Domaine Lacoste !
Je connais l’endroit où je viendrai lorsque je repasserai par Sarlat, merci encore !

The hosts of this BnB are so friendly, polite and dedicated. A beautiful building with character, clean swimming pool. Rooms renovated recently with his taste and awareness that this is a country house. Spotless clean. Toiletries and linen of good quality. Great location to explore sarlat and the caves. Food in restaurant tasty, well cooked and of good quality, but portions not to generous. Breakfast a bit limited, only white bread, for example, I like buffet because then you can vary your choices but that is more difficult in cozy small accommodation. And of course, the hosts can speak English to welcome you!

Un gîte absolument remarquable !
Les patrons sont aux petits soins pour que votre séjour se déroule de façon paradisiaque.
Les chambres sont très propres et bien équipées, la literie est confortable et il n’y a aucun bruit.
Nous avons également eu le plaisir de goûter la nourriture du restaurant qui est a la hauteur de la qualite de l´endroit.
A peine partis, nous avons deja hate de revenir !

Attention ce n'est pas un Hotel mais une magnifique chambre d'hotes!! Chambres très bien equipées: tout le confort souhaité,(il y a même un frigo). Très propre. Service de menage pendant le sejour! Un couple Gladys et Ian très attentionné, amical, ne cherchant qu'à faire plaisir.
Petit déjeuner selon votre demande, table d'hotes!
Pas assez de mot pour décrire les moment agréables passés autour de la piscine..tout semble neuf tant l'entretien est régulier, piscine, jardins..
De plus l'emplacement est génial, dans un petit village, au cœur de tous les sites à visiter et à 2 pas de Sarlat.
Réservez sans hésitation.

Pas facile de booker un endroit à des milliers de kilomètres et on ne sait jamais vraiment à quoi s'attendre.Dans le cas du domaine Lacoste tout était encore plus beau que sur les photos.Le paysage du haut du balcon, la piscine, les jardins, le village à quelques pas et évidemment les hôtes, Ian et Gladis......tout était super...Pour ma part, j'y retournerai c'est certain car la région de la Dordogne a été notre coup de coeur et le Domaine Lacoste est au coeur de la région, ce qui facilite la visite des petites villages dans toutes les directions.
Je n'hésite pas à recommander à tous les gens que je connais car c'est un endroit d'exception, dans une des plus belles régions de France.

Ian and Gladis are great, warm-hearted hosts who make you feel like visiting friends.
We enjoyed our vacation with the family a lot and are happy that we also asked for dinner, which was just perfect.
The pool was fantastic, extremely clean with perfect size and temperature.

Ian and Gladis are wonderful hosts, have created a serene getaway with scrumptious foods, large rooms, and easy access to to explore by bicycle, on foot, or drive the beautiful countryside with cave dwellings, chateaus, stunning prehistoric artwork, and boat rides on the Dordegone.

Perfect place to unwind after visiting big cities with the hustle and bustle. Great Farmers markets too, BTW!

Domaine Lacoste is a veritable paradise tucked away in the charming village of Carsac-Aillac. This location is very close to so many of the historic sites in the Dordogne. On the days you’re taking a break from touring, soak up the charm of the area by renting a kayak nearby or using one of the bikes available for guests and ride along the lovely paved path right in town. The hosts, Ian and Gladis, truly make a trip to this area delightful. The grounds are lovely with beautiful flowers and a gorgeous pool. The rooms are charming and a bit larger than the typical European hotel. While the accommodations are wonderful, be sure to dine in the restaurant. The food is outstanding and some of the best we had in France. Ian is a world class chef and Gladis is a master of desserts. You will want to spend every night of your trip dining on Ian’s specials of the day. If you’re really lucky, you will get to try Gladis’ strawberry pistachio tart. We will be returning!
