Si vous rêvez de verdure, de calme et de dépaysement, la Tavarn Ar Farfadet peut vous offrir les trois à la fois, avec en bonus un excellent repas. S'il fait beau, la terrasse vous accueillera les pieds dans l'eau, dans un cadre idyllique : l’endroit rêvé pour profiter d'une belle journée dans la nature. Les plats sont réalisés maison à base de produits frais et locaux, et à des prix tout à fait raisonnables. Mention spéciale pour le tiramisù. Pour digérer, pourquoi ne pas se laisser tenter par un tour de paddle à pédales ou de canoë sur le lac ?

But I was too excited and wanted her sausage inside me, so I went for it, after having had some lovely Breton sausage in Morlaix, what could go wrong.... The Andouille sausage made me gag and there was so much of it, it was mainly from the flavour and texture. It looked tasty with all its folds of skin and juice, but I had to wash it down with local cider and breathe hard every time I put it back on my mouth and swallowed, the sauce didn't really take the flavour away, I should have asked for more.
Once finished (somehow by adding bread to every mouthful) the very attractive English Rose of a Chef came out to also say she wasn't a fan of the Andouille sausage either and I agreed with her, she preferred "sausage in cider".
Andouille is certainly not a flavour a soft southern english cycle tourer can cope with (yes give me some black pudding / blood sausage any day, but this, No thankyou)
I tried to block the flavour with cheese and cider. But I could still taste the lovely receptionists Andouille sausage inside my mouth the next morning, even after brushing my teeth.
Obviously I ordered the wrong thing. The chips and salad and cheeses and cider were fantastic. Along with the staff and the views.
