Burger patty cold, chicken cold and dry, steamed broccoli cold no seasoning, in addition to the bad food $25 per person on dinner table for a hardly one hour country show. Sorry, but no good deal. Living of the prom status but no quality.

We own a home in Yucca Valley. We go to P&H every couple of weeks. We just went back .. menu change… No Catfish Sandwich????it’s my go-to…we substituted the Cod sandwich…not good…batter wasn’t good, soggy and fish wasn’t seasoned. Harriet salad was still good… at least????‍????

One of the gems of the high desert. The staff doesn’t mess around, but that’s part of the charm. Don’t leave your cowboy hat at home, people dress the part.

Also, make sure to mosey around the rest of the ‘settlement.’ Super cool little strip that’s reminiscent of Paramount Ranch. RIP

Great spot off the beaten path. If you are near, it's a Must Visit, and well worth it.

Great place to see a show if you get there early and don’t mind waiting in line. They could use better management for their restaurant. Long line to be told the wait was 3 1/2 hours for a table at 7:30pm on a Friday. They were having two shows that night, but could figure out a better system and have more info posted so people aren’t waiting in the wrong area.

Maybe a map of the venue on their website? Where to park, check in for show, get quick service food, etc. Could have more quick service info, quicker drink service at the bar, and better line area to wait.

Real nice venue if all works out though, small and intimate shows inside and large open air stage outside.

Lots of great bands come through and they’ve definitely improved from that one time 10 years ago when I was served a drink with a dirty quarter at the bottom.

Great venue for live music, indoor stage, and outdoor stage. Always good bands. Good food and drinks. Very fun spot.

We waited 35 minutes for a table, this was expected. Waiting 1.5 hours for our food was unacceptable. Our waitress only came an hour into that to see if we wanted another round of drinks. By the time our food arrived we were getting ready to leave. The food was mediocre, the mac and cheese cold. Other tables that waited half our time were offered chips and salsa for the wait.

Pappy and Harriet's is pretty awesome. Traveled here from Mass for an outdoor show. We came early for the food. I was stoked to find there are plenty of vegetarian/vegan options and my dishes were excellent. The venue outside is small and intimate but a really bizarre setup. Like maybe only half of the grounds have a view of the stage and the ground is lumpy and slanted the opposite way it should be. Overall it was an awesome time.

This is an exclusive club pretending to be a restaurant. They have a fake list they make people wait in line to get on--but that list is just to placate people. They only let in people with a certain level of attractiveness or friends of the staff. Paying the entry fee lets you enter the building and listen to any live music that might be playing, but it doesn't guarantee anything else. Once you see it, then it's really obvious they are judging people based on hotness/influencer levels. People are "fun drunk" between 7PM and 10PM. Right around 10PM people get "sloppy drunk" and it sucks the enjoyment out of the space really fast. You decide whether (an admittedly incredible) tri-tip sandwich is worth the line and the hassle.

I have seen 4 shows here over the years and eaten a few times. It's an amazing music venue and the vibes are amazing. The restaurant is usually extremely busy (for good reason) and service can be slow.

Decent food. Too busy to enjoy. Three hours for a family with four kids is tough.

What's not to love...great food, drinks are a little weak, but the service is quick and great. Tucked away in the mountains, definitely would like to visit in the daytime!

I’ve been coming here for shows and food for a couple years now. At first, the food was decent, then mediocre and now it’s really bad. No matter how you order your steaks, they will come out over cooked. The sides that you have to order separately are flavorless. The cole slaw tastes like it has mold in it. Their chili is just not. Burgers are served on cold buns. The grilled chicken sandwich was tough as an old shoe.
The managers are terrible to the employees and one can clearly see how unhappy and over-worked they are. Their turnover rate is very high. The place is usually understaffed.
As a music venue, they routinely over-sell tickets beyond capacity. Sold out indoor shows are MISERABLE. They only staff 2 bartenders at these sold out indoor shows preventing everyone from being able to get drinks. Because the place is so crowded and tables are so close together, it’s definitely a lethal fire hazard waiting to happen. It’s not safe.
Some of the same decor from the original roadhouse is still there, but the spirit of the place has been quashed by bad management.
They only exist now by riding on the memory of the original owners establishment, while contemptuously flying in the face of everything and everyone who contributed to the original aesthetic and ambience.
The criminally over-priced Red Dog is not much better, leaving P&H the only other option in P-Town. They take full advantage of their captive audience by putting in no effort.
Their ADA seating is a joke.

Food was so delicious! Prepare to wait because this place gets busy but it is so worth the wait. The ribs and steak were perfection! Highly recommend! Ask for extra BBQ sauce because it’s exceptional!

Went there last night for dinner and ordered the full rack of ribs. The rub was so spicy and hot I could not eat them. Also, everything comes a la cart now, so you have to buy a side salad, and side fries. For the price, I think Outback is a better choice. I don't know what has happened because Pappy & Harriet's ribs used to be my favorite. :-(

The food was delicious and the atmosphere distinct — a truly wonderful experience. The only negative was that the service was slow (place was busy) so be prepared for that and all will be amazing. Though the place was full of tourists like us, it definitely was NOT a tourist trap maintaining its authenticity.

The history of the place is interesting and the decor inside reflects that — it feels one part biker bar and two parts cowboy/western saloon. The stage has hosted some incredible acts including Sir Paul McCartney, though there was no live music during our Friday afternoon visit.

Food was very tasty ranging from steaks and burgers to BBQ (see menu image). There were also a lot of fun cocktails and drinks. We left with full bellies and smiles on our faces. It took about 40 minutes to get there from Palm Springs, but makes a great stop on way back from Joshua Tree National Park.

Cool place but the ribs were terrible. Worst I have had so far. Idk who had the genius idea to make them super spicy. Fridge IQ move...

This was my second time visiting Pappys and it didn’t live up to my first visit. The ribs were a bit dry and the waiter wasn’t very helpful. But it was a really busy night and it was a really fun atmosphere so take it with a grain of salt! Still my favorite ribs in the desert!
