Our experience at The Sands was absolutely amazing. The layout is both practical and private. Privacy is well controlled on the beach which turned out to be an essential.

Facilities are sufficient for holiday requirements and you have everything you need here in one place. The rooms are very spacious and well maintained with a lovely ambience.

The staff was the highlight of the experience. They truly make you feel a part of their family. This part of the experience cannot be overstated.

The food was fantastic and very authentic and the kitchen staff interacted well with the patrons for a lovely personal touch. I would list individual members, but the list would be too long. A facility and experience like this, cannot exist without great management and of that Ally was a grand example.

We hope to return again and would recommend this as a holiday location for anyone looking to visit Zanzibar.

Was looking forward to my trip with my family to Zanzibar and staying at this resort, but then the day before our trip I was notified of a family member in the hospital and that they were going to die. We immediately canceled our trip to travel to the United States to be with the family member and we were fortunate to make it just in time before they passed. We attempted to work with the resort to see about getting a refund, or credit, to book a future reservation. However they were unable to do so and could only provide credit for the additional amenities we purchased. It's truly disappointing that during such difficult times, and one of the worst time of my life, businesses cannot do the right thing. I understand that people attempt to use these types of events as excuses, but I can provide all appropriate documentation. Not only did I lose a close family member, but I lost a lot of money on this trip, all the additional flights to go home, and lost faith in this resort.

Resort incroyable après plusieurs semaines de recherches et au vu des avis nous avons choisi le sand resort, nous ne regrettons pas, villa magnifique propre et spacieuse, ménage fait 2 fois par jour !! Un plaisir après les journées d'excursions de retrouver un lieu calme et fleuri, plage en face à couper le souffle. Le petit dej et repas variés et délicieux. Enfin le personnel souriant et serviable, à chaque souci la solution immédiate. MERCI POUR CES VACANCES INOUBLIABLES

Siamo stati fino a ieri in questo bellissimo resort… che dire, resort pulito e casetta bellissima in mezzo al verde,per gli italiani che vogliono passare la loro vacanza in questo resort ne vale la pena anche per la posizione , ci si può spostare tranquillamente con transfer per andare a girare la fantastica isola ma allo stesso tempo è la zona migliore per il relax perché non caotica.il cibo molto buono sempre pesce fresco, noi abbiamo fatto all-inclusive e ne è valsa la pena al rientro ci hanno preparato la colazione anche se siamo partiti alle 5 di mattina, fantastici brevissimo tutto lo staff e Alli il responsabile sempre disponibile, veramente vacanza da sogno, da rifare????grazie ragazzi

For the second time my family and I are spending Christmas at The Sands Beach Resort. We have never before experienced such a caring and wonderful staff at a hotel before. The location is so beautiful overlooking the Indian Ocean, clean and nice rooms and the food is outstanding prepared by chef Edgar. Mr Ally, Shadya and the hole staff makes sure that all your needs are fulfilled. No doubt that we will spend another holiday here again hopefully very soon.

Our family has Stayed at this lovely Beach paradise over Christmas- we are travelling with our 83 year old grandfather. It has been a lovely holiday and the staff has been truely amazing headed by Shayda, treating us like family. The the reception with Simeni and Ally always taking care of our needs, the food prepared by chef Edgar In the kitchen and the boys in the beach bar, Hassan, Isaya, Cassiano has been amazing. The snorkelling in the blue lagoon was breathtaking, and the sandy white beach really gives this little paradise justice.
This is a place to recommend for family and friends.

Har haft den dejligste ferie med min familie på The Sands. Personalet er så søde, smilende og hjælpsomme og maden er helt fantastisk. Omgivelserne og selve ressortet kunne ikke være bedre. The Sands er en helt klar anbefaling til alle!

Ho soggiornato con il mio compagno presso il Sands Beach Resort dal 17 al 24 dicembre, e non avremmo potuto trovare di meglio.
L'accoglienza è cordiale e gentile ed accompagnata dalla cura di Ally, un ottimo padrone di casa e una persona davvero speciale. Parla inoltre benissimo l'italiano, il che aiuta.
Le camere sono immerse in un verde al quale gli occhi non vi si abitueranno mai. Sono pulitissime, grandi, fresche e spaziose. Il bagno è grandissimo e di fronte al letto avrete un'enorme vetrata (da fuori non si vede nulla) che vi permetterà di godere della vista.
Il personale è favoloso, gentilissimo e attento.
Si mangia benissimo e ci sono sempre tante proposte per ogni gusto.
In spiaggia ci sono belli e comodissimi lettini ed ombrelloni, e nel resort c'è anche una grande piscina.
Il resort organizza inoltre ogni sorta di escursione: non si deve fare nulla, è sufficiente sceglierla e penseranno loro alla prenotazione, al trasporto (puntualissimo) e alla guida che parlerà sempre italiano.
Il mare è spettacolare e gode di importanti maree: durante la giornata potrete quindi nuotare e vedere qualsiasi tipo di pesce, coralli o stelle marine, o passeggiare per km per ammirare i fondali (fondamentale portarsi scarpette).
Se cercate relax in un posto da sogno, tranquillo, nel nostro caso nemmeno troppo affollato, e immerso in un vero e proprio paradiso, questa è la scelta giusta. Unica cosa con cui si dovrà fare i conti: la nostalgia.

Excellent séjour en famille

Une semaine dans une villa 2 chambres à 5 dont 2 ados et 1 enfant.
Personnel au petit soin, hébergement propre et spacieux... une très belle plage où on peut marcher jusqu au rock restaurant... à marée basse, on va très loin à pied ( étoiles de mer, poissons, coraux...) top.
Repas variés avec des fruits au top...
