I will never stay at a la quinta every again! this location robbed me! I had my room already pre paid for through best hotel deals and when I arrived after my 6 hour plus drive for check in they were very un-orgnized and having issues already with other people when I got in. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but soon turned into fustrations when they first said they couldnt find my reservation. Then they finally do and then try charge me for my room I already paid for. They did reverse the first charge they did but then it hit again for another 200 and i was told by the AGM on duty Cory Jackson that he didnt know why it charged my card again and said the payment would fall off my bank account it was just a hold for the room. he then proceeded to tell me if it didnt then just dispute with my bank and they would get it sorted. Well guess what! i took it up with my bank and la quinta refuses to give me my money back! i sent proof that I already paid for the room and everything and shouldnt have been charged the 200 i was charged! I went to new orleans for my birthday weekend and had all these problems! Not to even mention I was suppose have room with two kings which they don't have but tjey said they had two queens which i was fine with but when i got to the room it was two full size beds not queens! It was an overall horrible experience all together and I'm out 200 because they dont want to make it right!

3 nuits du 11 au 14 février 2024 : Je me présente à l’hôtel j’ai une réservation active dans l’application (la quinta Wyndham) ainsi que le mail avec le numéro de confirmation.
L’hôtel me dit qu’ils n’ont plus ma réservation et que je dois payer le 3 fois plus chère la chambre pour rester dormir, enfin peu de temps après ils me disent qu’ils sont complet. Bref il est 19h l’hôtel nous laisse (avec ma fille de 3 ans) sans aucune solution d’hébergement pour la soirée sans aucune aide et sans aucune compassion.
Visiblement l’hôtel est en surbooking je peux comprendre la situation mais pourquoi ne pas m’avoir averti?

An over priced run down motel at $85.00
The room wasn't even vacuumed all the way from the last person that stayed in the room.
Big potholes in the front of the entrance.
I'm telling you they should be ashamed of charging anyone $40.00 much less $85.00
I had no choice, I couldn't get home, due to the bad weather, ????️ and the bridge being closed. ????

This has got to be the dirtiest La Quinta I have ever stayed at. The clerks are way unfriendly and the floors in the rooms are so dirty you can't walk on them without shoes. The shower was awful.

The room they gave us looked like housekeeping never came and cleaned the room. 1 of the beds looked like someone had already slept in it. The trash can was full. The bath towels were all used and on the side of the tub. We probably will never stay here again.

My family stayed here for a week due to my husband working a job in this area
The rooms were not up to par
The tub was old and outdated
The floors were dirty
The shower head was horrible outlets barely worked even the ac had broken pieces underneath it..people were out hanging over the balcony all day and night!
The curtains had holes in them
Where people can clearly see thru
Then to top it off we were actually put out due to “technical difficulties” when we tried to rebook our room after almost a week of staying there,the front desk lady claimed the system was down.
I feel if their system was down all laquintas systems in the area should be down as well which was not the case.
I noticed the people that were next to us or maybe a few doors down were asked to leave as well. I feel there was some sort of discrimination because no clear reason was given as to why we had to leave we were just told simply there was no way around it
It was “technical difficulties”due to the booking system being “down”
The washers and dryers were out of order
the pool was out of order
For the price this place is asking they are clearly out of their minds
Someone needs to have a talk with the owner/corporate and it will be me first thing Monday morning.
I have a two year old this was totally an inconvenience! I would suggest to anyone DO NOT STAY HERE
they definitely need better management!

Check-in an check-out was easy. The staff was so friendly. Location of this place was in a bad area tho. Very unsafe!! The room had a lot of water damage that went up to the baseboards in the room so you know mold is growing in the walls. The shower curtain had stains all on it. Pools closed. The pool was dark green with mess floating an smelt horrible.Only one ice machine that worked so we had to do some walking. Dogs barking through out the night was really annoying. Batteries in remote didn’t work. Parking lot had a lot of people out at night, constantly had to watch our vehicle. Woke up to police everywhere in the parking lot dealing with another guest. Just couldn’t relax on this trip being at this unsafe place. They really need to update their website to what the rooms actually look like. We won’t be coming back to this LaQuinta.

If I was able to do zero stars I would. First time in new Orleans and it was the worst experience ever. This location is horrible. 50 bucks deposit plus ur room gets charged and it takes a while to get the deposit back. The pool was green, and had what looked like lily pads in it. My husband and I were taking bets if there was gators or fish in the pool. The breakfast was waffle and cereal basically. Do not go here unless you absolutely have to. Location is hard to find and if u put it wrong in ur GPS u will have issues finding it. Next time I'd rather Airbnb and I hate Airbnb.

It was a bit creepy. The room had crown molding that is meldew and coming off the wall the carpet had holes in it. My room was in front of the green pool nasty. People walking around not looking safe. I thought I was in the projects.

Terrible I had to change rooms 3 times first room lights weren’t working second room condoms and used towels in bathroom I walk in with my 5 year old to magnum used condoms. Just terrible

I would give it 0 stars if I could. Wish I had read the reviews better - I’m not sure what I thought I saw but this wasn’t it. Super hard to find. Parking is fine which is good. My room smelled badly of cigarettes despite the “non smoking” policy. Pool was closed and ice machine has been broken for god knows how long. My AC BARELY worked and it was like 100° while I was here. There was a fan in the closet which was my only saving grace. The room was not cleaned great and one bed looked kind of dirty. Fortunately I only needed one. Bathroom was also gross, sink had ?? I don’t even know what in it and there was a dead roach by the toilet. Don’t even bother with this place

There was absolutely nothing enjoyable about staying here. The room smelled, the beds were small and uncomfortable, there were fingernails on the floor next to the bed, hair on the sheets. The pool isn’t open. Would not recommend ????

This hotel is located in a crazy spot. The receptionist was great and worked with us day by day due to us being there due to a family member hospitalized. The room was clean, but it did have a slight smell. The hotel is an older one, so it looks accordingly. It could really use to be updated. The pool was not clean, so we could not use it, but breakfast was good.

Not a good experience! The room is really old. They asked for $50 deposit to cover possible incidentals. After I checked out, instead of refunding me that $50, they mistakenly charged me another $50! I called and they apologized. A few minutes later, guess what? They charged me another $50! That is $150 in total. I called them again! The clerk said the manager would fix the problem by reimbursing me $150. No! The manager reimbursed me $50 instead! I finally lost my patience. I called my credit card company and filed a dispute. This place is a mess! The only reason I gave them two stars instead of Zero or one star is because they did clean the room very well and the front desk, despite her several mistakes, were courteous.
