This is an older hotel. It is noticeable in the decor and smell. Staff wasn't as friendly as I'd hoped, wasn't greeted when I entered, and had to wait to be acknowledged when I was ready to check in. The room felt wet, like there was too much humidity. The bed squeaked so loud that every time I turned over while sleeping, it woke me up. When I called for extra blankets, I was told no, that they wouldn't bring them to me, and I could come down to the front desk and get them. I had to sign a form confirming receipt of the blankets. I definitely paid too much for this room...The hotel requires a 100 deposit

This place is older but so clean. The rooms, halls, reception area are all kept immaculately. The rates are pretty reasonable and the location is great.

Booked a hotel room for next Tuesday and instead it booked me for a hotel room this Tuesday even though it’s 11:30 at night and I’m 500 miles away. Called immediately after reviewing my booking email and they refused a refund despite the booking being less than 5 minutes old. To move the dates would be to charge me double what I already paid. Absolute scam

It is OK place but not like the picture show got a problem in my room about the leaking. I told the front desk, not buddy, do something to help me have to throw close are humid after and the noise don't let me sleep

Great people at the hotel. Some minor road noise. IHop has great employees and above average food for an IHop.

The first room they gave us smelled like mildew and was damp. We had gotten in really late the night before with our 4 boys 12yr 9yr 2yr and 1yr old. The next morning we left out early for a funeral. So that evening after the services, we went back and they informed us that this room was supposed to be out of order anyway and they switched our room. The second room they switched us to still smelled mildewed but was not damp; however, the toilet was not flushing properly, the light was not working properly, and the tv was not working. A tech came to fix the tv while we were winding down with the babies and he just stood there in our room with us waiting for a call back for a part he needed...it was SO uncomfortable! That evening, as we were going to get the room switch there were cockroaches (not little roaches, these are the big brown ones) walking out in the hallway!!!! After all of that we let them know what was going on and they didn't even have any accommodations for us so we left late night, we didn't even stay our second night. We just drove through the night with our lil babies. They did nothing to accommodate us when we tried to put in our complaint again but through phone calls and emails. I would NEVER stay here again even if they offered a free night or weekend!!! And this was our third time staying at this hotel...so much for loyalty.

~The rooms have balconys / patios and have recently been updated / renovated!!
~The beds are super super comfy with feather pillows & feather comforters ☁️????????
~IHOP???? is attached to the Hotel Lobby ????????
~AND TO MY SURPRISE: OUR FREE COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST WAS ????IHOP????

Wyndham should be embarrassed at how they have let their properties go. The location of this hotel was good in relation to the cruise terminal in New Orleans. The front desk clerk was friendly and helpful. The hotel smelled of mold and skunk weed and it will stick to your clothes. No hot water the next morning even after letting the water run for fifteen minutes. Didn't have time to report as we had to catch our cruise and just wanted out of there.

There shouldn't be such little service for the money you pay.I guess they consider themselves the best hotel in the world.It's definitely not a quiet place.
