Il est temps de retranscrire ici cette journée à jamais gravée dans ma tête et surtout mon cœur. Une excursion exquise menée d’une main de mettre par Captain Taina qui nous a fait l’honneur de nous faire découvrir son lagon somptueux aux couleurs uniques. Ayant parcouru plusieurs destinations paradisiaques au cours de ma vie, de loin le plus beau snorkling de ma vie.. rencontre hors du temps avec tortues, requins à pointe noire, banc de raies léopard et douces caresses avec des raies pastenagues qui dès notre arrivée se sont empressés de saluer leur Captain.. sans oublier toute la préparation millimétrée d’une demande en mariage qui a largement dépassée mes attentes.. un jour inoubliable.. merci Captain pour tout du fond du cœur.. une adresse incontournable ici sur ce paradis bleu..

Par où commencer : un spot magnifique chargé d’histoire, un accueil des plus chaleureux, le meilleur Maha de l’île ? Non, un tour VIP aux côtés du Captain, qui connaît son lagon mieux que personne ! Faune et flore marine somptueuse, prendre le temps de s’émerveiller devant le mana de notre belle nature et cherry on the cake, une demande en mariage fleurie de mille couleurs. Sans doute une des plus belles journées de nos vies ! Maruru Captain Taina !!

La plus belle excursion de Moorea depuis le début de mon séjour, on a pu y apercevoir raies, requins, tortues, dauphin et une multitude de vie sous marine
Kenae notre guide et chris notre capitaine on était formidable.
Le repas, poisson cru au lait de coco, les brochettes de poissons... Tout était excellent bravo au cuisinier.
Profité à la fin de votre tour de la magnifique plage de chez Captain Taina.
Un grand merci également à MichMich de m'avoir fait découvrir ce lieu à travers ces lives tiktok ("michmichmoorea" sur tiktok pour en prendre plein la vue avant votre arrivée).

Wonderful snorkel tour! We were lucky to have sun for most of the day. Did a lot of research since there are so many options and settled on two tours, this was second one.

We had a glass bottom boat which was fine. Never did it before so wanted to try, but don’t think it adds anything overall to the experience. We didn’t pay much attention to it after the first ten minutes. If anything, the glass bottom area got in the way of moving around the boat more freely. But this is minor. I would still take the glass bottom over no tour with Captain Taina. The glass bottom also had a max of 12 people while the standard seemed to hold more people.

The first snorkel spot was right in front of Captain Taina’s pick up. They throw a rope into the water from the back of the boat and have people hold on each side to help not get pulled too quickly by the currents. This definitely had its perks and was different from another snorkel tour we did where we drifted with the current (more movement freedom but very quick). The boat would pull us over and keep us in the spots where there were turtles or rays. It was nice! We saw 12 eagle rays swimming together and got to drift over them for a few minutes which was very majestic.

Second spot was the main spot with stingrays and black tipped reef sharks. The stingrays are very used to humans and come right up and on you. The currents are very strong here so they have a rope you can hold onto as well. This tour times it so you aren’t there with a bunch of other boats, it was just their two boats, which is nice.

Third spot was to see the underwater tikis which was in fairly shallow water. Mostly cool but a little underwhelming. I expected more or bigger tikis maybe? But the water was very clear and pretty.

Last was the private motu for lunch, which was a great highlight. The island is very cool and water can come from one side of the island to the other over your feet as you eat! There is also good snorkeling right next to the motu and has a nice set up for lunch. They demonstrated how to make possian cru and served it to everyone in a coconut shell. Might be the best I’ve tried too! Also had open bar of rhum and/or juice and beer! For lunch, we had chicken skewer and fish skewer (the fish was so good!) and bread and rice. Then dessert of banana covered in coconut flakes, mango, and papaya! They gave us coconut brush sponge to wash our dishes in the ocean, which was fun.

Then we had an hour to just enjoy the island, swim, snorkel, sit in the water out front looking at Moorea, sit in the tide-pools out back, etc. It was an incredible day. Definitely recommended!

We brought fins but didn’t use it on this tour. With the ropes, it wasn’t needed. You could use it snorkeling on the private motu though since the current is also strong there.

Great afternoon that started with very good meal on a nice island and some spectacular snorkeling with turtles, sharks, rays and obviously many colorful fish. The guide, Caroline, was very energetic and informative and we've had a very good time. We felt secure the whole time, really accessible to everyone.

Excursion réalisée à la journée en privé pour famille et amis de 9 personnes et vraiment , nous avons été ravis . C’est Caro qui nous a accompagnés lors de cette journée très enrichissante de par ses explications et le respect de l’environnement si fragile des fonds marins . Les multiples arrêts snorkeling sont tous plus beaux les uns que les autres et que dire du déjeuner sur le motu privé, excellent et dans une bonne ambiance . Merci d’avoir fait de notre journée un moment exceptionnel.

A beautiful day out with our awesome guide Caroline who was absolutely fantastic! Herself and our skipper were absolutely attentive to everyone's needs and requirements; whether it was a pool noodle to make floating easier, a large floatie for a toddler, aqua gear/snorkel gear or even food allergies everything was taken care of smoothly.
We loved learning all about the sea life and local stories and smiled so much all day our faces hurt. Beautiful underwater landscape where we got to see green turtles, spotted eagle rays, a Hawksbill turtle, innumerable fish, black tipped reef sharks and even swim with stingrays! What an incredibly precious day to have spent!

The food was absolutely so so tasty and made in front of you which was such a treat! Then you get to relax on the small private island (drink in hand if you wish ????) or keep up the underwater exploration and see another stunning coral garden!

We felt so welcomed and included it was a fantastic day. The tour was given first in French then in English and nothing was left out!

Staff 10/10, Experience 10/10, Food 10/10.

Our group booked the full-day tour with Captain Taina and it was an unforgettable experience! From start to finish, everything about the day was incredible.

The staff truly stood out—they felt like a close-knit family and clearly cared deeply about the environment. Their respect for the wildlife and dedication to preserving the beauty of the island was inspiring. Throughout the tour, they were both informative and passionate, which made the experience even more meaningful.

We were lucky to encounter an amazing variety of marine life, including turtles, rays, sharks, and countless vibrant fish. It was breathtaking to see these creatures in their natural habitat, and the staff made sure we approached everything responsibly and respectfully.

The lunch provided was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and the perfect break to relax and take in the beauty of the island.

I highly recommend booking with Captain Taina! The island is stunning, and this tour lets you truly appreciate its magic. If we ever return, we’ll be booking with them again without a doubt!

Fabuleux, époustouflant… il faut aller faire cette excursion, nous avons vécu un rêve éveillé, tout a demarré en douceur dans un lagon encore endormi en apparence mais qui nous a vite livré ses trésors : raies léopard, tortues vertes, requin pointe noire et toute la vie du récif. Que ce soit depuis le bateau à fond de verre ou en séance snorkeling que mes enfants de 10 et 8 ans, qui ne sont pas forcément très aguerris à la nage au masque et au tuba, ont décidé de faire sans hésiter après 10 min de rencontre avec Caro et Mana, car ils ont instinctivement fait confiance à Caro notre guide merveilleuse et Mana notre capitaine. Un duo magique, une belle complicité un vrai professionnalisme, l'oeil de caro attentive à chacun d'entre nous et cherchant à débusquer les pépites pour qu'on puisse ne perdre aucune miette du spectacle et Mana la force tranquille rassurant et blagueur tout en maniant à la perfection son bateau, notamment dans la passe lorsque nous avons eu le bonheur d'apercevoir les dauphins ???? Les explications passionnées et passionnantes de Caro, ses réponses à toutes les questions des enfants et des grands, son rire si communicatif, la relation qu'elle a avec "ses raies" qui la suivent partout et ce partage avec nous pour qu'on goûte le temps d'une journée ce bonheur de pouvoir les toucher les observer de la façon la plus naturelle possible, éloignés des autres bateaux dans le respect des animaux et du récif. Sans parler du repas sur le motu juste un moment suspendu... Grâce à eux nous avons vécu un moment magique en famille qui restera gravé dans nos mémoires pour toujours c'est certain, mes enfants ne cessaient de refaire la journée avant de s'endormir. Mon fils voulait même que je prévienne Caro que le soir sur le ponton il avait vu une muraine ???? ils n'oublieront pas notre guide et capitaine de si tôt. Tout était fluide doux paisible et respectueux du milieu dans lequel se cache ces trésors de la nature. Ce qui a rendu notre petit monde doux et heureux avec des images pleins la tête ♥️ mille merci et belle continuation, ne changez rien surtout

Mareva et le capitaine (désolé je ne me souviens de ton prénom) m’ont fait vivre un moment inoubliable, des souvenirs à vie.
De À à Z tout était parfait, l’organisation, le timing dans l’eau et le déjeuner sur le motu (contrairement à d’autres commentaires, les intolérantes ou allergies sont demandées).
Nous avons vu des tortues, requins, différents types de raie et nager avec elles, muraigne, sculptures sous-marines. Nous étions un petit groupe de 11 puis 6 sur le motu, un bonheur.
Je reviendrai sans hésiter.

An amazing day snorkeling! We saw turtles, rays and reef sharks among all the beautiful fish. Our guide, Chris was superb, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. His captain, Moena (sorry if I spelled that wrong!) was also just as great. The full day with lunch on a private motu was delicious, fresh and filling. I would easily go back to this outfit again. Professional and outstanding.

Wonderful place. Staff is extremely welcoming and the beach is gorgeous.

We did the half day tour and came back a couple other times to use their beach. Very convenient and it was really nice to be able to use their beach even on the days we weren’t on the tour.

Excursion à la journée :
On a débuté par un excellent maa’a sur le motu privé, le tout dans une ambiance très détendue et agréable.
Puis c’est parti à bord du bateau (10 personnes) avec Moana et Tuki qui ont été de supers guides.
Les différents arrêts nous ont permis de rencontrer tortues, raies léopards, pastenagues, requins pointes noires et les tiki immergés. Moana guide tout le monde selon les niveaux de nage, on se sent en sécurité. Le bateau à fond de verre permet aux moins à l’aise dans l’eau d’en profiter aussi.
Petit plus : on nous permet de revenir sur la plage de la base quand on veut durant notre séjour, et l’accueil est toujours hyper chaleureux ! Un grand merci.

This was our favorite excursion of all the islands, can’t recommend it enough! You get to see a little of everything - incredible ocean life and beautiful scenery, plus the lunch on the private island is absolutely delicious. Our guide, Caroline, and Captain Tuki were wonderful - knowledgeable, super friendly, and made sure we were comfortable the entire trip. A must do on Moorea :).
