Nous n avons pas séjourné sur place mais avons payé 15 dollars par personne pour faire la promenade des ponts suspendus! À l entrée on vous promet des papillons des animaux et des fleurs et on vous offre une carte A4 qui devrait vous aider à vous repérer! La carte n est pas à jour les panneaux quasi inexistants et obsolètes et c est très facile de s égarer. Le touriste est un peu exploité car en dehors des 3 ponts suspendus il n y a rien d exceptionnel!

Wunderschönes Hotel mit toller Weitsicht. Eher klein, aber fein. Es wird auf die Wünsche und Unverträglichkeiten des Gastes eingegangen. Das Essen war lecker. Die Lage ist eher Abseits des ganzen Trubel und nur mit einem Auto zugänglich.

Une très belle adresse, les chambres sont parfaite, je n'ai jamais eu un lit aussi grand, king king size, avec petite terrasse donnant sur un jardin très bien entretenu.
Le petit déjeuner était au top et en quantité, très bien venu juste après la visite du parc de bon matin sans aucun visiteur bien sûr ???? on était les seuls sur le tracé.
De nos table du petit dej quelque mangeoire pour observé les oiseaux et on a pus voir a quelque mettre toucans, oropendora et autres oiseau au multiple couleur, un régal.

The lodge surpassed our expectations by a lot and we would highly recommend! Their website does not do the rooms justice. The dreamy bungalows are nestled into the side of the hill allowing for breathtaking views from the porch. Very clean and comfortable rooms with an amazing shower, great water heat, with windows that look right into the foliage. There is no AC, but the evenings get cool enough that the windows open and a fan are enough. The provided breakfast is nice and there are options to choose from.
But the best part is the loop of trails that take you on 3 hanging bridges. The path is in excellent condition, covered in gravel and clearly marked. The bridges are wonderful for watching wildlife and looking at plants.
This lodge is a hidden gem and we’ll be back!

Bueno nosotros fuimos hacer los senderos y los puentes, es algo increíble la conexión y aire que se respira...... a 20mins de Bijagua, camino accesible para cualquier auto..... carga tu cámara y las ganas de caminar.

Una pasada de sitio, sus puentes colgantes, su comedero de pájaros para ver colibrís y otros.
Las habitaciones super confortables y espaciosas con grandes ventanas para ver el increíble paisaje que les rodea.

The hiking trails are superb; too bad the hotel leaves much to be desired. There are many oddities about this hotel. We asked for room cleaning since we’d be out one morning. Upon our return we were informed that they couldn’t clean our room because they had only one key; ours! Want lunch or dinner? Warning they only serve if there are enough guests. Want breakfast before an early morning hike? We ordered one and were told to arrive at the kitchen 10 minutes before our departure. We arrived on time only to find the lights out and the door locked. No breakfast appeared. We took a blanket from the shelves only to find it very smelly.

El sitio es precioso,la habitacion muy grande y bonita,pero el agua caía con muy poca fuerza y no pudimos ducharnos bien,el wifi,se iba a cada instante,el personal de la recepción,un encanto y los d mantenimiento,el trato por parte del personal,fue muy bueno.
Pero para el precio q tiene,necesita un poco mejor el mantenimiento d la habitación,los senderos q tienen merecen la pena y los puentes colgantes

We visited only the hanging bridges park. Entry was $14 pP. The trail and bridges are very well maintained. It took us about 1 hour to complete the 2km long circuit. Definitely worth stopping by on your way to or from Rio Celeste NP.

We did not stay here but went on the hanging bridges walk. It was POURING which we as Seattleites didn't mind but ponchos are definitely the way to go! If you have good hiking sandals we would all recommend that over sneakers because everything will get soaked if it rains.
The bridges felt well constructed and the irrigation for storms worked very well.
Even though the downpour was fun and added a mystical element, we do wish that it had let up at some point so that we could actually look around. We heard some howlers but did not see any.
The only thing I would change was I wish the signs were in English as well as spanish. If you can't get your phone out to translate then it's hard to know what you're looking at!
Overall, if you're not a fan of rain, either opt for a different area or try to find a day where it's not raining.

Die Lodge liegt wirklich schön gelegen, hat ihre besseren Jahre allerdings hinter sich. Es besteht ein sichtbarer Investitionsstau - laufende Instandhaltungsarbeiten werden nicht getätigt.
Die wenig einladende Atmosphäre in der Lobby könnte mit kleinen Mitteln verbessert werden, schließt abends bereits um 21 h.
Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich.
Der 1,5 h Trail mit den 3 Brücken (30 Meter Höhe / fast 100 Meter lang) sollte in jedem Fall auf dem Programm stehen.

Einfache Anlage hoch am Fusse des Vulkans Tenorio. Sehr schöne Aussicht auf Bijagua, Berge und sogar den Nicaraguasee. Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig, jedoch mit wenig Charme und auch nicht ganz sauber. Grosse Mengen kleiner Käfer gelangten in den Bungalow. WLAN gibt es, jedoch nur an der Rezeption und auch nicht immer zuverlässig. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, was aber vor allem überzeugt ist die Lage und der Trail mit den Hängebrücken, welcher sehr zu empfehlen ist. Das Personal war freundlich, aber nicht immer voll kompetent. Insgesamt für 2 Nächte ok, jedoch für längere Aufenthalte nicht zu empfehlen.

-viele Tiere in und an der Hotelanlage (Kolibries, Schmetterlinge, Faultier)
- breite Betten
-das Personal war freundlich und bemüht
Negativ:
- kein WLAN in den Zimmern, nur im Aufenthaltsraum
-kaltes Wasser zum duschen
-das Metalldach ist sehr laut bei Regen
Wer damit Leben kann, der wird hier glücklich.

Visitamos el lugar para hacer los senderos con puentes colgantes y lo recomiendo al 100%, excelente atención y los senderos con muy buen mantenimiento.

Fuimos a hacer la caminata por el sendero y el lugar está bien señalizado y nos lo explicaron.
Fuimos con una adulta mayor y niños y tiene zonas de descanso techados. Todos la pasamos muy bien.

El mejor hotel durante nuestra estancia en Costa Rica. Excelente si quieres alejarte de los ruidos de la ciudad.
La habitación era muy grande, tenía ventilador, aire acondicionado y calefacción. Tiene su propia terraza para disfrutar de las vistas. El desayuno muy rico.
Lo que más nos gustó es que tienen un sendero para q hacer un recorrido de puentes colgantes. No había ninguna otra persona alrededor lo cual nos gustó mucho. Nos pareció una experiencia incluso mejor que el recorrido de puentes colgantes de La Fortuna. Todo el camino está acondicionado con gravilla para que no se llene de lodo.
Eso sí el hotel está un poco alejado, pero sin problema de llegar si vas en auto, pues el camino está muy bien.

Si buscas tranquilidad, este es el lugar. Alejado de la población, justo donde inicia el bosque, es una experiencia natural. Por el precio del hospedaje puedes hacer el recorrido de puentes colgantes. Debido a que no está nada saturado es excelente para apreciar la naturaleza sin multitudes ni ruido de personas. Los puentes colgantes son de primera, nos parecieron incluso mejores que los del recorrido popular que se hace en la Fortuna. El desayuno es muy bueno y la atención del encargado excelente. Nos sorprendió este lugar.

Nice place, beautiful surroundings and view, nice, big and clean rooms,
well maintained trails and bridges, note in low season the restaurant can be close, if you have a car there is no problem because there are some good restaurants nearby (but no by walk).
Perfect for birders or people looking for relax, quiet and nature
Only downside was no internet on rooms that all.

This place has an amazing view. The receptionist was very nice, understanding, took time to explain everything (breakfast, trail, what to do in the area, etc) and even offered me the options to order food and deliver it directly to the room.
The room was very clean and spacious.
During the morning breakfast, you'll eat watching the birds also feeding outside. It's really peaceful and calm.
They sell drinks at the reception if you don't want to take the car to go downtown.
The place is beautiful and they also have a great trail in the forest with hanging bridges. The city is about 5 min down by car and I would suggest to have a 4WD to get there.
