The park is a lot different now than when I was a child. It seems smaller. It was very crowded, too crowded for how hot it was. The stench was atrocious too. Everywhere we went there was a sewer stench and flies. The lines are way too long and people lack awareness.

We had a good time, but what is the point of reservations when there are still hoards of people and long lines.

I'm a long time annual pass snob, so I'm especially crabby about how awful Disneyland is now. Prices are way beyond the worth of the park these days, and an upcharge for a previously free service (Fastpass) for a much more limited experience (Genie+) is robbery. It's a privilege to be here, but as a family of 4 with mixed ages and a moderate budget we are paying a massive expense for a terrible time. Bring back Fastpass for all so everyone can get a chance to coordinate their day in the most suitable way for their individual circumstance! I know the mouse needs his cheese, but this ain't it, Disney.

brought my wife along with me to celebrate my goddaughter’s birthday. got this place that had macarons, i absolutely devoured the belgian dark chocolate macaron. then inside disneyland’s tomorrowland i got the alien macarooooooon, n it looked just like aliens from the movie!

we got a military discount on the discounts which was a very nice surprise. we ended up using the savings from the military to have it go towards the lightning lane and genie thing so we could get to the front of lines significantly faster. in the star tours ride we ended saving a 45 minutes according to the lil machine outside.

so again, highly recommended the genie/lightning lane upgrade if you can afford it.

Spending a day is not enough. It is a huge area that is a lot of fun for children but also for adults. It enters a man made world full of fantasy and magic.

Goo experience overall but a couple of surprising and disappointing complaints. First in galaxy’s edge to get a better photo of the x wing I stood on a small walk wall where one would typically sit and a couple of employees literally yelled at me. I was very surprised to learn that Disneyland’s employees treat patrons this way but the next complaint had me livid. So I understand that there’s a special event that is Star Wars Nite and the event itself is exclusive and starts at 9. So around 7 I noticed that there was a tattooine billboard that was obvious for taking pictures. I was attending alone and there was an employee there and I asked her to take a photo with my phone and she denied. A manager and another employee came up to relieve the woman and walking up was a mother and her child and the child asked her mother to take her photo in front of the tattooine photo shoot board. The mother asked the workers who were slightly in the way if she could take her child’s photo saying it was for the event that started in 2 hours. They denied her and they left upset. That made me so angry to see Disney employees and manager to deny a child’s request. If they wanted only patrons for the special event to only get those photos then they should have covered up the photo shoot so no one could see it or they should have put it up moments before the event were to start instead of denying patrons and a child’s magical moment at their favorite place. Higher expectations are needed at Disneyland Anaheim. Also better service at the droid depot in the morning shift except 1 employee in my experience went above and beyond helping me and that was Chloe. I adore her

We went to Disneyland in October, and it was an okay time. It is definitely worth taking kids here because they will have a blast, but for adults, I was told while we were there that California Adventure is the way to go. Next time, we will spend two days there instead. We were at Disneyland during Halloween so expected to see a lot of decorations but there were almost none. The only thing was a pumpkin Mickey Mouse head in the entrance area and the haunted mansion was The Nightmare Before Christmas themed. I was also told while we were there that California Adventure decorates more for the holidays. The food choices here are decent but fairly expensive. The plates are a good size so you can easily share entrees. The rides at the park are fun but they broke down A LOT. One of the days we were there the Haunted Mansion wasn't open until the afternoon. And we would be standing in line for something almost getting on and then the ride would stop working. This park definitely does not have the same magic it had when I was younger. As a kid, Pirates of the Caribbean was my favorite ride and that still stands today. The Haunted Mansion was a close second, but it did stop for quite a long time while we were on it, which was odd. All in all, kids will love it and adults will love it a little less.

I have 4 annual passes. 2 passes for my daughter and I. I bought these passes thinking I would get credit from the 3 regular tickets I purchased a week prior. In the process, I accidentally bought another set of 2 passes. I immediately called to get a Disney rep to help me fix my accident. They did not allow me to refund the accidental transaction. I emailed anyone I could to help me, guest services kept denying me. I am very frustrated. So since I cannot get a refund, I asked to have my friend and her daughter added to the extra annual passes. They denied that too!! What?! The tickets were not even activated. I am seriously disappointed with Disneyland. I want them rated NO Star for this service. I even explained my mental health issue and during the time of my accidental purchase I was experiencing anxiety, as I usually do, causing me to make this accidental. This single mom, military veteran and emergency room nurse gets no love from Disneyland. ????

Disneyland is overpriced and long wait times for rides no matter what time you're there, and worst of all...horrible people guests and castmembers. It takes 30 minutes just to pay to park, then another 30 minutes waiting in line to go through security and wait for the tram. Then once you get in the park, it's wall to wall people and wait times for popular rides are 1 hour on average. As I mentioned, the worst of it is the people. The people that go to this park have turned ghetto post 2020. People walk into you constantly ramming past you as if you're not there. And it's not just me, friends and family that have gone recently pointed out the same complaints. People also cut in line as if you're not there. You're walking to go in line and they literally speed walk and cut you off like they do in traffic.

Disney is watching everyone on camera's all over the park, but what's the point of that if they're not putting a stop to unruly guests like that? Disney also needs to stop offering annual passes and magic key silliness and paying extra to get to the front of the line. And I had been an annual passholder since the early 90's. It's no longer worth it. The crowd levels are too high everyday. Disneyland was once a magical place and the happiest place on Earth. It is now one of the worst places on Earth and you have humankind to thank for that.

Also, they have too many rides being renovated like Haunted Mansion and Splash Mountain, both are unnecessary renovations. Several of the few rides open keep breaking down and temporarily closing like Indiana Jones, Thunder Mountain, Space Mountain, Mickey Minnie's Runaway Train. And that's on and off all day.

False advertising. Instead of making the process simple, they make it complicated. Everything had to be done through app. The Genie Pass can only be purchased in the park once you have a ticket.

When you get in the park you're not going to take the time to read the full description of the Genie Pass offer; you're there to have fun with your family. If you purchase Disney's version of a fast Pass you can't use it on their most popular ride, Rise of the Resistance. This is after spending $800 for a family -- just to get in the park.

You have to purchase a Lightning Lane pass for that ride -- but only for that ride, for that one time -- and you don't know that until you walk to the opposite side of the park to get on that one ride.

Ok you say, fair enough. Let me get a refund on my Genie Pass right? Easy peazy. Nope.

The Genie Pass is non-refundable. Even if you tell guest services you're not going to use it. Even if you let them know you made an honest mistake. Even if this tarnished your experience and it's no longer the happiest place on Earth.

This is deceptive marketing, and it's not reasonable at all. Nobody's going to read the Genie Pass fine print once their in the park, but if they do its going to be a giant distraction and take away from the experience.

Do your research. Don't be deceived.

We love disneyland but this new reservation system is making our passes unusable. Disneyland has used covid as an excuse for way too long, disneyworld has already stopped with it!

Wasted my time we accidentally purchased an extra ticket online they told me they could down grade My ticket to put the money back on a Disney gift card they than had me wait over 30 minutes for them to come back and say they made an error and they couldn't down grade a one day ticket. Not My problem they didn't know that before promising me that and having me waste our time in the park so we lost our first in line early access to the park waiting for nothing and we lost money ???? they need better training on polices iam making a formal complaint about the loss of time do to there lack of training on the matter

The most magical place on earth isn't so magical anymore. They nickel and dime you around every corner, and unless you are willing to spend top $$$, you are in for a very long wait. Save your money and go to Knotts Berry Farm; maybe someone can talk some sense into Disney's management.
