We camped one night in Khama Rhino. It was a beautiful experience. On our guided evening drive we came across some of their white rhinos, giraffes and zebras. Definitely worth a visit.

Khama rhino is one of the best places you can ever visit I went there for a school trip and it was fun the food is very good and the animals are beautiful it is a very wonderful place and I hope you visit it one day

Referring to chalets only...Water not always available for showers etc.... Power points aren't all working. 1st world problems yeah...However the food at the restaurant was sensational.
The wildlife was always a few minutes between sights. That's why we go to a place like this. Not much water in the lake unfortunately but still a lot of animals there.

Ich war schon oft hier. Der Park mit seiner Ausstattung wird immer schlechter. Die Waschräume des Campingplatzes sind absolut heruntergekommen. Ich verzichte hier lieber auf die Dusche. Man kann aus unerklärlichen Gründen nicht mehr vom Campingplatz zu den Pfannen fahren, sondern muss mit Umwegen über Rezeption dort hin fahren. Die Wege sind sehr schlecht ausgeschildert. Im Bereich der Chalets und Campingplatz befindet man sich in einem Wirrwarr von Labyrinth. Sehr merkwürdig fand ich, daß wir bei unserem 1.5 tägigen Besuch dort nur sehr wenige Rhinos gesehen haben. Ich war ca. 5 mal dort und das ist noch nie vorgekommen, dass ich am Tag nur 3-5 Rhinos gesehen habe.

Had a one night stop over at Khama Rhino Sanctuary. Well spaced and clean camp sites although the ablutions can do with some repair and upgrade. The staff were very friendly and wildlife especially the rhino population was the highlight!

WOW what an epic experience. Saw a rhino within 2 minutes of the game drive. This should be on everyone’s bucket list!! Affordable, fun and once in a lifetime.
The abundance of zebras and game animals is incredible.
Keep your eyes out for the giraffes, hopefully you’ll have a sighting too!
Restaurant is basic but you are in the middle of nowhere so it’s expected.
Campsites are maintained and well kept, extremely spacious.
Lodges/chalets are tidy, neat and comfortable.
You definitely don’t come here for luxury, you come here for the experience of seeing such beautiful animals.
Kudos to the Botswana Military for monitoring the rhinos and doing everything in their power to stop poaching.

The campsite us too far from the gate for a one night stopover and there are too few ablutions for the amount of campsites.

Good, well spaced camping ground and OK facilities. The park is well sign posted and laid out. We saw plenty of Rhinos. The restaurant does good snacks (toasted Sarni was v good) and coffee.

Khama Rhino Sanctuary really needs to put some work into the upkeep. Rooms are shocking, pools are disgusting, the restaurant has the bare minimum. If it wasn't for the attraction of the animals this place would not survive..
It would be good to see this place better themselves ????

Unsere erste Campsite auf der Reise. Und die vielleicht ungefährlichste, aber das wussten wir da noch nicht.
Sanitäre Anlagen erfüllen ihren Zweck.
Der Kauf von Bier gestaltete sich ein wenig länger aber hey, wir waren im Urlaub und nicht an der Aldi-Kasse. Zahlen geht mit Visa problemlos.

Der abendliche Gamedrive war super, unser Guide Sydney sehr sympathisch. Er fuhr uns gut auf den sandigen Wegen, wir sahen u.a. Nashörner kämpfen, Giraffen fast zum Anfassen nah und auch ein Kudu.
Für den Fortbestand der Nashörner ist dieser Ort sehr wichtig.

Beautiful wildlife is plentiful. Endangered species fearsly protected. Campsites were neat and comfortable, but had no electrical point. Loved the abundance of the Makongwa trees. Would love to see a bit more atmosphere at the restaurant and pool area.

Ottima riserva di conservazione. Potrete avvistare i rinoceronti bianchi e neri.
Abbiamo inoltre fatto una attività di tracking del rinoceronte in mezzo al bush… È stato emozionante, consigliato a chiunque abbia voglia di farsi una camminata ed avere una bella scarica di adrenalina.

We camped 2 nights in late August 2023 and had world class game sightings, a beautiful campsite under a Mokongwa tree with a standpipe, braai stand, fire plinth, bird bath, abundant bushveld birds, lined rubbish bin, clean ablution block, hot water. Some game drive roads are very sandy. It was an absolute privilege to stay in this gorgeous, well managed wildlife reserve.

We camped here for two nights in late July. The campsite was lovely, with decent ablutions close by (past the cute mongoose family). The guide for our morning and evening game drive was friendly, helpful and very punctual collecting us from our tents. Saw plenty of animals and birds and the rhino, but the evening drive was cold - hadn't realised how cold African winter is! The guide advised us to do an afternoon drive too as it would be warmer and the rhino would be out in the open, and they were! Had a good meal at the restaurant and took advantage of the WiFi! Only disappointment was that the pool was closed - but being winter it was probably only mad English that would have used it!

It was very nice to be at the Khama Rhino Sanctuary. We stayed there for two nights and did the Rhino walk which was very nice.
Good campsites with Abulution nearly and a lot of space for yourself.
They do have a little shop with some things you maybe need and there is also a restaurant for meals. We went in the Park and did the selfdriving, which was very easy.
Welcoming staff was okay, the rest very friendly.

They offer false information on the official website and its workers do not offer solutions or show any interest in customers. According to the official website, the interior roads of the reservation are correctly maintained and there is no problem in making self safari with 4x2 car. Reading this information we decided to include Khana Rhino in our travel itinerary to make a self game. We drove more than 7 hours from Johannesburg to reach it and when we arrived there they tell us that it is mandatory to go in 4x4. Also they said that is impossible to do a safari with them either because they only have one guide and one car and already have it reserved. They recognize that the information they give is false and do not offer any solution to customers who come in 4x2 there by trusting their website. If on your website they gave correct information and will notify that it is mandatory to go at 4x4 we would have reserved a safari with them when we prepare the trip a few months ago. Really unfortunate.

Impossible à accéder en voiture particulière contrairement à ce qu'il m'avait été écrit. Rhinocéros très durs à voir. Seul le camping mérite un point positif pour son calme mais il faut y...accéder !!

This was an amazing campsite, it didn't have power but we were aware of this so it didn't make a huge different.

Khama Rhino have good camping sites, but I will not recommend them due to their poor and pathetic admin (By the name Ruth) & account services (Kago & Quin) . My booking was paid almost 3 months in advance, just to be told on arrival I have not paid. I was forced to pay again on departure. Weeks later they admit it was their mistake, and a 45 days later I'm still waiting for my funds to be returned (after numerous promises). Make ABSOLUTELY sure you have a valid proof of payment, especialy when booked through an agent. Kago & Quin (from accounts) simply refused to answer ANY of my emails. The same happen to friends of mine a few months ago. They never got their money back..
