Un lodge agréable avec de belles chambres, stratégiquement placé près de l'entrée du parc national de Makgadikgadi Pans. Le restaurant offre une carte complète et une cuisine de bonne qualité. L'aire commune est agrémentée de nombreux arbres verts et possède une grande piscine où il est agréable de se prélasser. Possibilité d'effectuer des safaris mobiles, des visites guidées de Gweta avec un guide villageois, des excursions d'une journée à Baines' Baobabs et excursions d'un ou plusieurs jours à Ntwetwe Pans, entre autres activités.

Гарне місце для зупинки по дорозі з Касане до Маун. Спочатку нам дали старий сімейний номер де був неприємний запах і всі меблі були старі. Але потім господар нам розповів що вони будуть робити там ремонти і нам запропонували два нових двомісних номера( гарне відношення до клієнтів) . Їжа була смачна і з гарною ціною.

At first, we were given an old room for 3 people. In which everything was not in the best form. But then the host offered us to change the room and offered two new rooms, which were great with air conditioners and everything new. Clean linen and rooms.

Buen sitio previo a visitar Makgadikgadi pan. Agradable trato con los clientes tes, buena. Comida, piscina y todo muy bien cuidado.

I didn’t stay at Gweta Lodge but I contacted them to do the activity: Ntwetwe Pan ½ Day Trip - Includes Meerkat Visit (990 Pula per person).
They picked us up at 6am in the morning in our campsite and 1 ½ hours later we arrived to a field where the boy in charge to find them showed us 2 meerkats between 5-10 meters distance. The guide explained us that they are shy and not habituated to humans so they will not get close to us. We expected to see more of them and get closer as it was written in the description of Gweta Lodge website: “colony of habituated Meerkats” we just saw two in the distance, “These Meerkats are human habituated” the first thing the guide said it’s that they are not, “almost touching distance” it was around 5 meters the closest, “After visiting and interacting with the Meerkats” there was not interaction at all.
We find out that in Planet Baobab they have a group habituated to humans that they even climb on you. The activity with them is more expensive but also 2 more hours and includes food.
