Room was decent and roomy. Didn't have breakfast, such a disappointment.

Friendly staff. Convenient Location. Rooms were fairly clean. There was mold in the shower and I let the front desk know. It’s a little older.

I was called to do a washer machine repair And we informed them that we only take credit card at the end of the service call that we do not bill. They agreed to the terms and hired us, then refused to pay us unless we submitted documentation and a bunch of other information and then have to wait for a check. If I would’ve known that we wouldn’t have taken the job on. We repaired that washing machine and they have a good running unit and we still have not received payment from them. John Deason was very rude and became very emotional even though they agreed when they hired us to paying by credit card. 12/12/23 update they called me and paid their bill over the phone

For Monroe North East Lousianna..... it's the Ritz Carlton. Or the Townne Suites by Marriott Next Door. Eat at Ronin (Ie Benniha)....other than that advice ur on ur own.

Very, very shabby hotel. Creaky floors in the hallways and such. I've stayed here multiple times, and that honestly never bothered me, and neither has the noise, which is substantial from both the airport AND I-20. I travel with earplugs, but be prepared. But the scam $5 parking fee is absurd. This is apparently new, because it wasn't like that the last time I stayed there. Here's the scam, the clerk never even asked me if I had a car. I could have been parked at the Applebee's next door or the ample mall parking across the street (again scam), didn't matter, I just got charged. I don't care about the $5, it's the scam of it and the fact that there is absolutely no reason to charge for the ample parking all around. I will never stay at this hotel again. It was fine until it wasn't and scamming people, which I'm sure is a decision of the management, means I don't mind paying more to stay somewhere else.

Nice, older hotel. It could use some updating but overall, it's neat, clean & comfortable. There are no a/c outlets at the desk for laptop, phones, etc.

I missed the allotted time to give this Property a quality review on the Marriott survey. So, I figured I would do the next best thing and leave them a positive review.

My vehicle overheated and eventually stopped working on the opening leg of a long road trip. This hotel was compassionate, welcoming and flexible with my needs as a customer. I can't thank them enough for being somewhere I felt safe to pivot and figure out what was next.

Carpet is old, filthy and hadn’t even been vacuumed properly. One of the pillows was stained. Overall the place smelled like old smoke, dust and mold. My. husband isn’t normally allergic and he started coughing as soon as he entered the elevator (which has a rug that needs to be replaced because it’s beyond cleaning).

Workers very friendly and willing to help.
Rooms not cleaned daily, was there 2 nights and had to ask for towels, was told they only cleaned rooms every 3 days.
Room would not cool down properly.
The restaurant was horrible, don't chance it.
Breakfast and dinner overcooked..

The workers were very accommodating. The rooms unfortunately were very hot and we couldn't get them any cooler.

I’m beyond disappointed with the rooms at this hotel. After moving my child into ULM, we returned late and was exhausted and ready to place our leftovers in the refrigerator, needless to say the refrigerator was hot, nasty with mold. I called the front desk and was told maintenance was not on site and that we could move to another room. We accepted the offer to move to another, we arrived at the other room again tired and exhausted, opened the refrigerator and it was iced up. At this point, I called the front desk to be receive compensation for our inconvenience and troubles. I was told that she couldn’t do anything. Therefore, I’m writing this review as well as contacting corporate. If I pay $170 for hotel accommodations, then I expect the hotel to hold up their end of the bargain, which clearly they did not! I expect as a consumer receive what I pay for, and I did not! Therefore more needs to be done to hold hotels accountable.

I’m not finished, whomever the people were above us walked extremely hard and was loud all night. Did I call the front desk, absolutely not…it was made apparent nothing was going to be done anyways. Okay, one more…the fire alarm above the bed flashed a light all night…no sound just flashing light.

I’m more than exhausted due to sleep deprived and being very uncomfortable at this hotel. I will not be staying here again.

Please choose your hotels wisely. I have bombed twice Monroe. This was better than the first, but both are not quality and clean hotels.

staff are incredibly friendly and happy

The room itself was very dirty. I looked under the couch and there was food that rolled under there from previous people. The bedsheets were stained and I saw a bug crawling on the bed. I don’t know for sure if it was a bed bug or not. The staff was super nice about it and switched my room immediately. But I learned that the same night, they gave that bug room to someone else. Again, I don't know if it was a bed bug but it looked a lot like one when I searched for pictures of what they look like online. Either way, they should not have given that room to someone else 2 hours later.

This is a really beautiful property. It was my first time visiting and they made it enjoyable.

Check in was easy, they emailed my receipt at checkout and had some great amenities. The food was also amazing. Ate at the bistro two days and enjoyed it both times.

Really friendly staff as well. Looking forward to returning.

Quiet room near mall

Our Family Reunion was held at this location, and one of the Supervisors, Heather, was EXCEPTIONAL in taking care of ALL of our needs! She greeted us with the biggest smile all day, every day, and in the middle of multitasking, she STILL made sure that ALL needs were met.

What meant the most to me, was when I was trying to keep my 2 year old Nephew entertained in the lobby during the banquet, Heather found a Jenga-style block game, and set it up for him to play with! Her customer service is NEXT TO NONE!!

We stayed for one night, and the hotel staff was amazing! Prentice and Heather were nice and welcoming. If we are ever in the area again, I know where we will stay.
