QUARRYMILL WOODLAND PARK

Located just half a mile north of Perth on the A93, Quarrymill Woodland Park boasts three well-designed waymarked trails. In times gone by, this site served as a quarry for stone used in constructing local residences, while watermills were constructed to harness the energy of the nearby Annaty Burn's. In the present day, visitors are treated to a diverse range of wildlife. The millpond plays host to a variety of waterfowl, including mallards, moorhens, and tufted ducks, which thrive on the abundant supply of Canadian pondweed available throughout the year.
