Lieu incroyable que nous recommandons fortement. Que ce soit pour son architecture, son histoire ou l'hospitalité des ses hôtes ! Soyez assurés qu'ils seront aux petits soins pour vous. Toujours soucieux que vous ne manquiez de rien, votre chambre sera en ordre chaque matin et le petit déjeuner est incroyablement copieux, vous serez comblés à coup sûr !

We chose Angoville44 for its location — close to Utah Beach and within a reasonable distance of Omaha Beach. What truly set this stay apart, however, was the remarkable hostess: a strikingly elegant woman of refined manners and impeccable taste. She has not only furnished and maintained her historic home with extraordinary care, filling it with beautiful antique pieces, but also welcomes her guests with warmth and grace. Breakfasts, hearty and delicious, are made with local ingredients and served with genuine hospitality.

One should note that the hotel is housed in a very old, historic building. Out of respect for the surroundings, we found ourselves moving about almost on tiptoe — a small price to pay for such charm.

Staying here was an unforgettable experience, especially for lovers of history and beauty. The exceptional standard of cleanliness and attention to detail throughout the house inspires admiration — and a strong desire to return.

I hope the hostess won’t mind if I share a few photos of the hotel and our room so that future guests can appreciate its character and make a confident choice in its favor

Cette chambre d'hôtes mérite un 12/10 tellement tout était parfait. Je recommande vivement cet endroit. En plus d'être top au niveau de l'accueil, du confort, de la qualité des infrastructures et du petit-déjeuner, cet endroit regorge d'Histoire avec un grand H puisqu'il a accueilli des soldats de la 101eme Airborne, sans parler de l'église du village qui est devenue un hôpital de campagne. Vraiment, je ne peux que vous inciter à vous rendre sur place pour vous baigner dans l'ambiance et profiter d'un moment de détente.

Excepcional en todo. Jaqueline es un ENCANTO. Las habitaciones muy limpias. El desayuno es excelente: leche y yogur de un granja cercana, croissants y napolitanas que hace ella misma de madrugada. Sabores que recordaba de niño.
La casa es un edificio histórico, donde se alojó el Coronel Sink de la 101st Airborne en el 44. En mitad de la naturaleza, sitio tranquilo, rodeado de verde.
Muy cerca de Carentan, St. Marie du Mont, St. Mére Église, Utah Beach,...
Totalmente recomendable.

Skønt B&B i en historisk bygning. Dejlig stille og ro, vores vært Jacqueline servede en dejlig morgenmad med flere hjemmelavede specialiteter. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen.

Une chambre d’hôte exceptionnelle. Un accueil chaleureux, une chambre très propre et confortable et un petit déjeuner parfait et copieux. Géographiquement au cœur de l’histoire du débarquement et propice au repos. Un grand merci à notre hôtesse Jaqueline ????

My review is based mostly on the poor breakfast. There were only sweet options like sugar loaded cake, cereals and alike. I was asking for some cheese, ham or eggs but those weren't available. If you consider the price this should not be the case, especially as there is no where else to go close by. Even in the worst places on my trip I had better options.

Beside that it's very nice. The room was spacious and clean and the whole place is decorated as in the 1930s or so.

Such a beautiful and lovely stay. The hosts were extremely lovely and helpful. Would highly recommend to stay. Really clean and the location is great!

Avery impressive logis and beautiful bedrooms. We received a very warm welcome and we’re well cared for. Breakfast was a feast which set us up for the day. The village church is a short walk away with interesting history during Le debarquement

Perfect for a romantic get away, with a vintage touch. Every piece of furniture and decoration was perfectly place to give one the feeling of the 1800s. The breakfast was done with a lot of attention to detail and the home made apple pie was one of the best we’ve ever had. We didn’t want to give it less than five stars because it does not deserve less than that, especially considering the wonderful hosts and all the great efforts they have put into the place. However, the bathroom could have been a little higher quality, and the check out time maybe just an hour later, as 10am seemed a little early and too rushed.

Siamo stati accolti dalla proprietaria di origini italiane con gentilezza e disponibilità.|La camera particolare e curata nei dettagli, era molto spaziosa con ancora i pavimenti dell'epoca. Abbiamo dormito bene sul letto e i cuscini erano perfetti. La colazione dolce proposta normalmente era tipica del luogo con croassant pane, una torta al formaggio e un assaggio del piatto del pescatore fatto in casa. Su richiesta si è resa disponibile anche a preparare una colazione personalizzata salata pre accordi per persone intolleranti o con problemi alimentari.|È stato un piacere conversare con lei e la ringraziamo ancora per la disponibilità e i consigli che ci ha dato!

Cette bâtisse de l'an 1700 parfaitement retapée est chargée d'histoire et se trouve à deux pas de la tristement célèbre église du village (hôpital de fortune en 1944).|Ce B&B est également une étape équestre et un élevage de chevaux, et bénéficie d'un calme absolu.|Petit déjeuner copieux et varié ; propreté irréprochable ; chambre avec bouilloire, thé et café.|Une mention toute particulière pour l'accueil chaleureux de la propriétaire.|Aucun point négatif à relever, mais juste une suggestion à faire : celle de mettre un livre d'or à la disposition des clients ...|Bientôt un 3e séjour au programme !

Ottimo. Entrando in questo posto sembra di entrare nella storia. Vicinissimo alle spiagge dello sbarco americano (Utah Beach) è stato anche un centro di comando americano durante il D-Day. La struttura infatti è intatta come era all'epoca. La nostra stanza era grande e tutta in legno, bellissima. Sui muri dell'ingresso ci sono incorniciate le pagine dei giornali dell'epoca e gli arredi sono originali. La padrona di casa si chiama Jaqueline, è una italiana di Cuneo trapiantata in Normandia per la passione dei cavalli. Infatti oggi oltreché un B&B è anche un maneggio. Gentilissima, ci ha dato alcune dritte su cosa vedere e cosa fare. La colazione, abbondante, si fa in una sala grande circondati da tutti oggetti e reperti originali che ricordano lo sbarco in Normandia. Chi è amante della storia non può perdersi questo posto. Consigliatissimo.
