Très bon rapport qualité prix ! Sanitaires propres et avec de l’eau chaude.
Jacuzzi et cour intérieure trop mignonne !
Le gros + de l’hostel ce sont les Supers conseils pour les activités sportives du coin : pour chaque activité, ils proposent la meilleure agence de San Gil.

We had a really nice stay at the Macondo hostel. The facilities are really good and the kitchen is well equipped. The rooms and the bathroom were super clean. In the dorm they have a fan and the temperature is really good during the night. But the real highlight of the hostel is the stuff that is super friendly and helpful. They know a lot about the area and give you a lot of advice. We could even leave or bags in the luggage room for a couple of days.

Fantastic hostel, can’t recommend it enough. Shaun and his team helped to coordinate all activities in san Gil and were incredibly helpful with information throughout!

Excellent conseils de la part du personnel sur les activités à faire aux alentours , y compris en solo , ils n'hésitent pas a contacter des gens pour vous même si ça ne leur rapporte rien , excellent service

The staff is excellent and they organise the activities for you at reasonable prices while also making it easy to join up to activities that others in the hostel are doing.
If you have the chance to speak to Shaun about what to do in the area, he can really make the difference for your trip! Highly recommend this hostel

Absolutely awesome hostel. Staff was excellent - friendly, helpful, gave us all the information and advices for activities. You can book tours through them, they organize their own activities ... They actually help you with organizing your day with all the information you need.
Room was clean and spacious, the garden area was beautiful and spacious too ... Would recommend!

As one of the oldest hostels in whole Columbia this place has evolved to the very best location in San Gil to get your trips planned. Shaun and his staff have so much experience and really do everything to get you the best experience for really all the great activities that can be done. Stay motivated mate!

Can’t praise this place enough as it’s exactly what a hostel should be!
The rooms are basic but have everything, very clean all around, great amenities including kitchen and beautiful chill out spot.
The biggest highlight is the staff and I have to commend how great each one was! Everyone was very helpful with information about the area and took a real interest in everyone who stayed, I think everyone remembered my name straight away and checked in which is a great feeling when you’re staying somewhere!
A great spot for travellers looking a to make the most of San Gil! I really enjoyed the paragliding offered through the hostel too, and appreciate the advice about activities and the safety around them provided too!

Stayed in the dorm, pretty basic hostel, felt too crowded overall. The workers were very nice and they offer tours but you can find that anywhere in San Gil

Súper recomendado, un lugar tranquilo, muy bonito, excelente ambiente, todas las personas q trabajan allí son muy amables, agradezco principalmente a Diego q me oriento en varias inquietudes, volvería sin dudarlo. Hicieron de mi estadía allí muy amena. Gracias!!!!!!

Beautiful hostel in San Gil. Showers have hot water and plenty of pressure. The staff is very friendly and speak excellent English. They had great knowledge of the surrounding area and activities.

The staff at San Gil are extremely knowledgeable about everything there is to do in and around the area. They know everything from the bus timetables to the opening hours of various activities and are always available to organise any activities you would like to do while in San Gil. We ended up extending our stay here because we had such an enjoyable time. On top of this, the owner of the hostel, Shaun, went above and beyond for us, helping us to reschedule our bus and even dropping us at the bus stop. This hostel has a great atmosphere that caters for everyone, and they are willing to go the extra mile for their guests. Couldn’t recommend highly enough

San Gil was such an experience. the stuff is super friendly and they have lots of adventurous activities to enjoy. I loved my private room and could tell that the dorms were quiet and clean. it's visited by lots of cool people which is helpful when traveling solo.

Absolutely fantastic hostel, I can recommend anyone to book here when visiting San Gil. The staff, location, ameneties, activities and overall vibe were absolutely fantastic. Personnally, one of the best hostels I've stayed in during my trips!!

Wonderful hostel. Excellent staff, very kind and helpful. Nice common areas, both inside and outside. Hammocks, hot tub. Kitchen. Comfortable rooms. Hot shower.

Das Hostel liegt super nah am Stadtzentrum. Das beste am ganzen Hostel ist die nette, lustige und aufmerksame Crew, die einen ab Tag eins beim Namen kennt. Super Tipps zu Aktivitäten, kennen sich super aus und haben Spaß an ihrer Arbeit!

Incontournable à San Gil. Ambiance backpacker très conviviale grâce à l'immense patio équipé d'un jacuzzi et de hamacs. Le propriétaire australien organise tous les jours des sorties parapente, rafting, vtt, spéléo...

The tours they sell are well selected, I did rafting and it was professional. Prices are fair not much higher or the same as booking with the tour operators.
