Beautiful location, on the river. The lodge is well laid out and easy to navigate. There are a couple of cats that roam the property and are a delight to interact with. The staff is very cooperative and happy to assist.

Casius, our boat driver, deserves a special mention. He has a great level of bird knowledge and was an excellent navigator. He took us fishing, and on a sunset cruise.

There is a well stocked curio shop, the bar is very well stocked with very good wine and spirits.

There is no fridge in the room, our room was also missing umbrellas and it is the rainy season (other rooms did have umbrellas).

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at your esteemed lodge, the staff members were very kind and lovely. We also enjoyed the scenery at our camping to go tent, the game drive and boat cruise all so amazing and captivating. Thank you for a wonderful stay Namushasha Lodge.

I am so disappointed in this lodge.
Primarily due to the prices which are an absolut rip off. Due to the lack of restaurants and shops accessible to tourists in the area we were forced to pay 50 USD per person for an all you can eat buffet for dinner. Then service... its only rivaled bt NWR and if you have been to Namibia you know how bad that is... they had about jo enthusiasm what so ever. They were lazy in regards to not even wanting to follow their own rules... (you arent allowed ro walk to your campsitr at night as there could be dangerous animals around so they offer to drive tou there but didnt want to as we had interrupted their chitchat)

And on a bit of a sidenote as ofc they are not obligated to do it but would have been nice nonetheless...

They didnt congratulate me on my birthday even after my gf asked for a drink to celebrate it.

The one redeeming quality is the campsites. Theyvare spacious and have a water closet for each and everyone.

Sehr schöner Camping die Plätze mit eigenem WC/Duschenhäuschen sind unglaublich schön und direkt am Fluss gelegen. Leider ist das Restaurant extrem überteuert und man kann nur Buffet essen für 50 US dollar pro Person. Da es in ganz Kongola keine andere Möglichkeit gibt zum Essen und ebenfalls kein Supermarkt um selber etwas zu kaufen ist man gezwungen in der Lodge zu essen. Das Personal nicht immer das freundlichste.

Ein toller Ort zum zwei drei Tage auszuruhen. Bad etwas dunkel gestaltet mit etwas mehr Licht optimal. Keine Steckdose im Bad?? Für den Harr Trockner wäre es gut. Essen und Frühstück voll und ganz zufrieden

Eine unserer besten Unterkünfte in Namibia. So unglaublich tolles, freundlichen und hilfsbereites Personal. Der Game-Drive und Boat Cruise sind zu empfehlen. Von unserem Zimmer konnten wir verschiedene Vögel, Affen und Hippos beobachten. Das Essen ist super lecker! Dinner kostet zusätzlich ca.25CHF pp

I stayed in a Camping2Go tent. It was fantastic. Cleaner than a hospital. So much more in terms of utensils than I am used to. Grass lawn leading to the banks of the river. The staff were very helpful and well trained. Noticing a trend with all the Gondwana resorts. The game drive was fun allthough stopping for every bird, whether tarentaal or kwartel was a bit tedious. The guide needed to choose which of the customers to please and the bird watchers won out. Frustratingly, there is a bird watching outing but as they explained, if you do bird watching on the hame drive you get 2 in 1. So, if you actually want a game drive you need to accept you get 2 in 1 instead of 1 in 1. That said, we did have some great encounters with elephants and spectacular views of them at the watwrs edge.

Wir waren im August 2023 bei einer dreiwöchigen Rundreise durch das südliche Afrika in dieser Lodge. Unser sehr schönes Zimmer lag etwas erhöht direkt am Wasser mit hohen Bäumen davor. Toller Blick. Leider waren wir nur eine Nacht hier. Das Buffet hatte vieles zu bieten - auch für Vegetarierinnen und Vegetarier. Leckerer Salat mit Körnern. Unser Frühstück war leider sehr gehetzt, weil wir am frühen Morgen noch an einem Safari-Spaziergang teilgenommen haben - den man sich hätte sparen kann. Zm Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis können wir nichts sagen, weil wir mit einer Gruppe unterwegs waren und den Preis nicht genau kennen.

Un emplacement de camping vaste, ombragé, propre, et un bloc ablutions parfaitement entretenu nous ont accueilli. L'excursion qui allie croisière sur la Kwando et Game Drive dans le Bwabwata/Kwando Core a été un superbe moment, avec un accompagnement par des guides très pros et sympathiques.

We hadden een upgrade gekregen van de camping naar de lodge. Hele mooie grote kamers met uitzicht op de rivier. Afternoon boottocht gedaan. Was heel leuk, we hebben diverse dieren gezien. Personeel is heel vriendelijk.
