Also ruhigen Gewissens gerne Unterstützen

It's good value if you plan on only staying a night and
Their food is not worth the price at all. A buffet made up of cheap frozen veg, canned foods and simple custard for desert cannot be worth N$420 per person.

The ablutions were good enough, but the rest of the facilities were lacking.
Generator will run until 21:00 and the bar is very limited.
You drive through a village to get to the gate.

The campsite is interesting at first sight, nice. The cabins need maintenance, they are very dark.
I do not recommend taking advantage of the local dinner offer for 420 NMB. The meat was tough, the food was average.
The dance show is below average. The drummers are wearing overalls. Dancers wear swimsuits, dancer's underwear is visible.

If you pay with dollars, you get a disadvantageous exchange rate.

This place during our Namibia tour was the worst of all the camps.

My friends and I are travelling around Namibia for 14 days. This was our worst camp.
We have a hut instead of a car and a tent. The huts are interesting, rustic. We lack electricity connection for car fridge, which we solve by connecting directly to the building.

Right on arrival we are forced into a river trip, a traditional dance and dinner.

The $200 river ride is expressly set up to have a reward for the children on the Angolan side.

The $420 dinner was very poor. Beans, vegetables, potatoes, chicken. The steak was not well prepared at all. Very old meat.

A native dance for 70 NAD means 4 dancers and two on the drum. They wore a bathing suit top, plain shorts under the skirt. The drummer wore overalls.

Paying cash USD, the worker cheated us out of the exchange rate by almost 100 USD.

We strongly do not recommend this camp. This is not a camp for people, just a way to get the most money out of people.

Amazing staff and service. Meals were tasty and enjoyed the ambience. Beautiful setting on the banks of the Kavango River with the most amazing sunset in Namibia.
Looking forward being back. Thank you for an amazing stay as always.

We had a lovely stay at the lodge. The dinner was delicious and large portions. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The shower water is heated with a wood fire which is really cool! The camp is easy to find when following the signs from the main road.

The lodge could use some attention here and there and don't expect to much luxury amenities. Overal we had a very nice stay.

We are sorry for your unpleasant stay at nkwazi lodge.
We have a very outdoor and bush experience in our ablutions, we try to stick very close to nature, the picture you posted is of our harmless local wasps, unfortunately we can't get rid of all the insects since we are in the outdoors.
As for the unpleasant smell we will take note of that and fix the issue since this is a new complaint.
We choose to not have credit card facilities so payment through EFT and hard cash is all we accept.
Our staff knows that when they write the receipt for the guests the guest will have the choice whether he wants an invoice or not.
We switched from diesel powered generator to solar electricity so some of the power outlets have been disconnected our staff must have forgotten to inform you.
Hope you enjoy the rest of your African experience.

Fantastic location right by the Okavango river! The sunsets are absolutely beautiful as is the friendliness of the staff. The dinner is like home cooked and deliscious. This is not a luxury place, but so cosy and with a lovely atmosphere. I stayed here twice with groups and they all loved it, as did I. Doing the sun set cruize is a must! A dance performance can be arranged after dinner and I highly recommend it! Staying here means meeting the local people and also supporting them, which is very important in Southern Africa.

Nice camping, clean toilets and shower but not so comfortable. Boat cruise average. Better book somewhere deeper into Okawango delta.

We booked for one night, received confirmation but staff had no booking for us when we arrived. Thankfully campsite was empty so we were able to stay over. Word of warning though - some of the paths in the property lead to private accommodation that do not have signs, and my husband and child almost got attacked by 3 very vicious dogs. Be careful where you walk looking for sunset spots!!

Beautiful bush experience
