Slept here one night before entering etosha park. The location is great: just next to the entrance and allowed us to enter the park directly at opening. However the ablutions are simple, pragmatic and practical but not nicely made as it is the case in most of the campgrounds in Namibia. The campgrounds are all very close to each other and it is quite big with its 20+ emplacements. The price is high too, we paid 870N$ for one night which feels too much considering the quality of the campground. There must be other nicer campgrounds close by, perhaps it’s worth driving 5-10min longer to reach the park but have a nice campground. This is what we’ll do next time we come.

Close to Etosha gate and within its own reserve, although you cannot do self drives.
The ablutions are great and the neighbors are far enough away while also being divided by some trees.

Nice place to eat and drink at reception and they also have a pool available.

Fantastic campsite with all amenities you can imagine. We did a bushwalk and a sundowner with David (both private due to low season) and they were amazing, but the sundowner is really a must. We saw 10 lions out of which 4 little cubs alongside many other animals. Yes it's just outside of Etosha in a separate, private game reserve but you might as well do one day less in Etosha and enjoy this beautiful serene place instead and you will not be disappointed. :)

C’était le top! Emplacement idéalement situé pour visiter Etosha juste après la sortie ouest du parc, très bien entretenu avec sanitaires privés très propres et le lodge est super devant le plan d’eau ! Les employés sont adorables, petite boutique bien achalandée, petite piscine mais suffisante … on a vu un léopard vers 23h00 au plan d’eau! Je recommande ????

Sauber und gepflegt. Der Pool ist klein aber sauber und für eine Abkühlung völlig ausreichend. Auf dem Weg zur Campsite kann man schon einige Tiere beobachten.
Uns war es etwas zu langweilig, da man außer den Safaris nichts unternehmen konnte. Man konnte also nicht großartig spazieren o.Ä. Dementsprechend würden wir es eher für nur eine Nacht mit später Anreisen empfehlen.

Super Campingplatz! Direkt vor dem Gate des Etoscha gelegen. Jeder Stellplatz mit eigener Dusche, WC und Waschbecken für Geschirr. Sehr gutes Restaurant mit ausgezeichnetem Service. Das Wasserloch war das schönste unserer Reise.

Best camping place on our Namibia trip.

À l’ouest du parc Etosha et proche de l’entrée, camping avec sanitaires privés. Possibilité de se restaurer sur place (nous ne l’avons pas fait). Nous avons fait le safari au coucher du soleil ce qui était très beau, nous avons vu quelques animaux et nous avons pu admirer le coucher de soleil avec un apéro, nous recommandons.

Lovely place just before the Etosha entrance. Each campsite has its own facilities, enough trees as well as privacy. It was great to relax at the pool for a while and at the night to have a drink with a woterhole view. Sadly, we have not seen (almost) any animal. But Etosha compensated it greatly next few days.

Sehr schöne und gepflegte Campsite direkt am Parkgate gelegen. Fast schon als luxuriös zu bezeichnen. Poolbereich mit Liegen und vielen Schatten spendeten Bäumen. Die gesamte Anlage ist mit viel liebe zum Detail angelegt und wird sehr gut gepflegt.
Das Restaurant ist besonders gestaltet und hat viele Plätze mit direktem Blick auf ein schönes und beleuchtetes Wasserloch. Dort lässt sich ein wunderbar der eine oder andere Abend beim Essen oder einem Getränk verbringen.
Definitiv einer der schönsten Plätze die wir auf unserer Reise hatten.

Für uns die beste Campsite auf dieser Reise. Und als Highlight haben wir beim Abendessen noch einen Leoparden am Wasserloch gesehen!

Sehr schöne Campsite kurz außerhalb des östlichen Etosha-Gates. Wir waren hier einen Tag/Nacht um etwas Ruhe nach dem Etosha zu bekommen. Der Pool und das Restaurant mit Wasserloch sind ebenfalls empfehlenswert.

Perfektes Camp am Rande vom Etoscha. Der Stellplatz war groß und mit tollem privaten Waschhaus.
Es gibt einen Pool mit schattigen Liegen zum Ausruhen.
Die Rezeptionistin war super lieb!
Das Essen im Restaurant war auch gut, der Service ist noch ausbaufähig. Da wir da aber keine großen Ansprüche haben, 5 Sterne!!! Im Restaurant gibt es Blick auf ein Wasserloch, echt schön.

Nice campsite, good and clean ablutions. However the service is extremely poor.

We booked and paid in full on line but when we arrived they had no record of us. I showed them our booking and payment confirmation but rather than apologising they treated us as though we had somehow done something terrible.

I was told to email the payment confirmation to them so they could check it and laughed at for booking so late (we had booked that morning).

The people checking in before us were told that all the tables in the restaurant were full but were offered a menu to look at and told that the staff would be happy to put out chairs by the watering hole to accommodate them. They were then offered a map with their campsite marked on and carefully directed where to go.before being wished an enjoyable stay.

When it came to us we were told that they were sure we would be far more comfortable cooking our own food at our campsite. When I said we had had a long day and hoped to eat with them they said they might be able to find some chairs but again told us it would be much better if we ate at our campsite.

We were then told our campsite number and the member of staff went to walk away. I asked whether we could have a map so we knew where to go as the previous people had. The member of staff looked annoyed, handed a map over and waved his hand dismissively saying our pitch was ‘over there’. He then said if we couldn’t find it we must come back as we were not allowed to drive around on our own. He then walked away.

I have no idea what crime we had committed to be treated like this, they are clearly able to be polite to guests as shown by the way they spoke to the people before us. I don’t believe we are less well presented than anyone else, nor impolite or difficult to deal with.

Be warned - you take your chances here, they either like you or they don’t!! Sadly this ruined our stay as we felt very unwelcome and as an expensive campsite (N$810 per night) we had hoped for a more enjoyable experience.

Great location at the entrance of Etosha. Camping facilities are great and private. Their staff is amazing and provide great service. Field guides are knowledgeable and staff aims to make your stay the best possible. After an incident not related to them during a sundowner, they were very helpful in sorting out a replacement game drive in the morning.
Would highly recommend for a relaxing stay where you're taken care of by an amazing staff.

Notre dernière nuit avant de quitter la région de Etosha. Un service irréprochable et d’une amabilité incomparable par rapport au camp site dans Etosha.
Suite à un soucis pendant un des safaris le management ainsi que le guide nous ont plus que satisfait dans la gestion et nous ont offert une compensation. Ici la satisfaction client est prioritaire. Nous étions en campsite tout était parfait!!

View into Etosha ????

Solo tengo cosas buenas para decir de este camping. Llegamos tarde tras conducir desde Windhoek alrededor de las 21:30h cuando todos los campings estaban cerrados. Nos dejaron pasar y nos dieron la última parcela que les quedaba libre sin tener reserva. Las parcelas están muy bien equipadas con baño y ducha privadas, zona de barbacoa, fregadero y encimera. Además es de los pocos campings que tenía enchufe europeo en todo nuestro viaje por Namibia.
Está prácticamente al lado de la puerta de etosha este (namutoni gate)
El chico que estaba en la recepción fue muy amable

Leider werden alle Aktivitäten erst ab einem Alter von 10 Jahren angeboten und keinerlei Alternativen sind vorhanden.
Service für Familien: 1-2 Sterne
Wir würden diese Lodge nicht noch einmal besuchen.

Excellente nourriture, emplacement, service et une grande hospitalité !!
