Tsauchab river camp est entouré de magnifiques montagnes. Beaucoup de randos. Les propriétaires sont sympathiques, les repas excellents.

We didn't stay, but had lunch here. Really nice place, staff was polite and the food was good.

We had a wonderful stay at one pf their campsites. The facilities were clean and well maintained, offering hot showers in the evening by boiling the water for you. They offered some beautiful trails to hike and even send their dog with us to accompany us, which was a big plus in my books ????
The owners are friendly and offered a wide range of beverages and food. I can only recommend to stay here!

Die Unterkunft bildet im Allgemeinen einen unfassbaren Flair und Charakter für alle Besucher. Ganz besonders ist die Einrichtung des Hauptgeländes. Sie besteht aus selbstgebauten Eisenkunstwerken, und historischen Sammlerstücken, welche eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre kreieren, die nachhaltig in Erinnerung bleibt. Besonders schön zu hören ist die Lebensphilosophie des Eigentümers, der das ganze mit voller Überzeugung und Liebe betreibt und gerne bereit ist sich mit den Gästen zu unterhalten, um ein familiäres und freundliches Verhältnis aufzubauen.

Nous avons été très déçu en arrivant une magnifique déco américaine et tout en tape à l'oeil.
Les logements sont très isolés les uns des autres, très bien pour la tranquillité,
Toilettes non isolée de la douche,
Matériel de salle de bain non fixé un simple geste d effleurement et tout se casse la figure.
Pas de possibilité de recharger les batteries dans la chambre sous prétexte que nous sommes dans le désert.
Pas d internet non plus.
Nous avons eu l occasion d aller dans des logements nettement moins onéreux et avions et tout aussi isolé avec la possibilité de nous recharger et connexion internet.
Tout est une question de volonté.
En plus le chemin piétonnier n est même pas balisé pour le retour de nuit...
Seul le petit déjeuner été correct après multes discussion pour l obtenir.
Il est évident que c'est un établissement qui ne nous a pas convenu

Nous pensions avoir réservé un emplacement au Tsauchab River camp et finalement l on nous à envoyé à 8km dans un autre endroit disposant de 4emplacements géré par le même établissement
Les emplacements étaient simples mais propres et espacés
Proximité de la route en revanche
Même si nous avons passé un bon moment, nous aurions apprécié que cela soit précisé à la réservation, car cela n est pas là où nous pensions avoir réservé.
Dommage !!

Campsite Bustard was everything we could have asked for. Beautiful views for sunrise and sunset. Well equipped for cooking/cleaning and the private bathroom was fantastic. Lots of interesting birds, some vocal frogs and millions of stars. Very helpful and friendly service. Wish we had stayed longer, it was amazing.

Lovely place. Got welcomed by the owner himself, who was very friendly and always trying to help. The food was very delicious everyone was super kind to us!

The ultimate camping experience. No electricity at camp site( this is part of the thrill) private ablution per site, bush shower, own washing line, outside basin, and , STARS

Best camping we saw in Namibia. Fantastic art and decoration, excellent breakfast and dinner, friendly hosts. Very private camping with nice and clean private bathroom with hot shower and WC.

Wir hatten das Camp Bustard und es war wunderschön gelegen - sogar mit einem eigenen Sundowner Point. Den Pool durften wir auch als Camper benutzen. Vielen Dank. Das Frühstück am Abreisetag war erstklassig!

Absolut sehenswert. Ein Muss! Wir waren schon mehrmals da und sind jedes Mal begeistert. Viel Kunst und noch mehr Sammelobjekte. Das Personal und die Inhaber sind wirklich nett und hilfsbereit. Wir haben jedes Mal das Abendessen im Haupthaus gebucht. Sehr liebevoll und köstlich. Ebenso das Frühstück im Freien.
Die Campsites sind (sehr) weitläufig und großzügig angelegt und bieten Dusche, WC und Kochstelle am Platz. Von hier aus sind Tagesausflüge zum Sossusvlei möglich (ca. 100km). Es gibt auch einen kleinen Pool, Autoservice für den Fall der Fälle und einen Souvenirshop incl. kleinen Market. Traumhafte Anlage.

Gepflegte Anlage mit Camps, für Freunde der einsamen Wildnis. Baumdusche mit intelligenter Warmwasserversorgung. Und für alle Camps hier gilt: kostenloses Wasser zu haben, heißt nicht Wasser verschwenden zu dürfen!

A great camping spot - have been 3 times. Campsites are well maintained and well spaced out so you have privacy. Great selection of hiking trails with fantastic views. The lodge is well equipped, and well stocked, in case you run short of something. The owners are present, very helpful, friendly and engaging. The iron artwork is very inventive and humerous!
