Faire du snorkeling avec des orques à Skjervoy en novembre 2023, c'était super ! Pas une chasse à l'homme comme lors de l'observation des baleines avec une autre compagnie. Nous étions majoritairement seuls, pas avec tous les autres bateaux. Avec les combinaisons, on a chaud, surtout si on va souvent dans l'eau. Maintenant que je vois leurs vidéos de cette année sur Instagram, je suis nostalgique. C'est pourquoi je devais revenir et rattraper l'évaluation positive que je n'avais pas encore donnée.

J'ai fait un safari au soleil de minuit à Lofoten en juin. Voyage fantastique avec des informations intéressantes. Nous avons eu de la chance et avons vu plusieurs aigles, des phoques et un requin ! Le conducteur du bateau, Stig, et son assistant ont été absolument fantastiques !
Nous avons également pêché le lendemain. Une première expérience amusante avec une belle prise et un homme habile à nos côtés !
Les deux sont fortement recommandés pour des expériences uniques et des personnes très sympathiques

I went snorkeling in the first week of January. The light conditions were good enough to see clearly. The information before departure is brief but to the point and sufficient. Then we went out for about 20 minutes. The landscape alone is worth it in my opinion. We saw sperm whales and humpback whales above water. Then we tracked an orca pod and went in the water several times. Truly an incredible experience. First time I didn't know where to look at first, but then I saw a mother and calve glide underneath me at 10 meter distance. In the next jumps I saw more of the pod, up to 20 individuals at once swimming right past me.
The captain steers the boat from the side into the orcas path. You jump in and the orcas then dive under and past the group of snorkelers. They don't pay any attention to the humans. But I really cannot tell if they are bothered by it. There were only 2 RIB boats with snorkelers and 2 more RIB boats with whale watchers, so that seemed reasonable. The blasting of music on the way in and out seemed unnecessary though.
Some tips: wear lots of layers under the dry suit. Heating pads in your shoes are also nice. Glide calmly in the water and orientate yourself a bit before you go in.

Tried to snorkel 8th January.
Friendly people.
Kept warm in dry suit, hands got a bit cold towards the end, and ears got a bit cold towards the end.
Unfortunately we did not get in the water at all, on a snorkel trip.
We understand the weather was bad, but we hardly saw any whales, the guide was constantly in the way when we did see them to try and take pictures/videos.
They interrupted them logging. It appeared they did not even know what logging was.
After interrupting the logging/resting they thought they were going down to feed. But it's because they were interrupted.
The skipper did not get infront of the whales anywhere near enough for us to jump in with them.
Although we haven't snorkelled with them before we have used other tour companies for seeing the whales which we found were fantastic and more knowledgeable compared to this company.

Ils sont rapidement complets, mais je vous recommande de vous inscrire sur la liste d'attente, car nous avons pu nous inscrire pour les trois excursions à la dernière minute !
