The rooms are ok but not as good as you can notice the wear and tear of the building, and there was no trash can/bin where i booked.
Wi-Fi was only working downstairs zupstairs there's nothing. The telephone to contact the hotel stuff was not working, the phone number on the website doesn't work either, i tried to call it with no success. Had to take the lift down to talk to the hotel atuff. The kettle to make tea/hot water was not working.
A bit of mosquitoes but not too bad as i left the bathroom window open, i was not warned there would be mosquitoes.
A bit of language barrier as Portuguese is the main official language spoken in the country, however the stuff did their best to assist in English.
The location where the hotel is located seems life its an abandoned area, maybe it could be the old part of the town, not sure. Something the hotel cannot change so no big deal.
But otherwise if they improve the Wi-Fi, Working utilities, update their phone number and a bit of renovation, all will be good.

room keys kept locking us out.. Had powefailure for hours, no backup..we orderd breakfast packs to go... horrible. The only nice thing was the rooms..l

Stayed there for a weekend, and hated their breakfast "bread and eggs". I lifts often not working. Rude staff and provided zero services.

Siamo stati 3 notti in questo hotel. L’hotel è in centro vicino alla cattedrale da fuori, nel contesto in cui si trova, spicca x modernità e cura.
Dentro ha stanze spaziose ma non sempre tenute con cura.
Quando siamo stati noi in gruppo di 13 persone c'era un problema alle chiavi elettroniche: praticamente aprivano qualsiasi stanza!!
A me infatti è sparito il carica cellulare !!
Alla reception si alternano persone diverse alcuni parlano meglio inglese ed è più facile capirsi per chi non sa il portoghese. La sig ra Madina gentilissima per aiutarci a trovare un ristorante.

Não é mau, tendo em conta a cidade onde estamos... o preço e a localização. Os quartos são razoáveis, espaçosos, mas o pequeno almoço não vale nada.

The location is perfect, We didnt have a booking and we effortlessly secured a room for the night. The hotel is quite old and the new fittings are falling apart. Our room had dirty surfaces(walls, chairs, counters, sink, taps, showers). The bedding my clean and bed mattress was ok. The shower had small black worms on the floor which we discovered just before taking an evening shower. There was 1 set of towels, yet its 2 people sharing room.Carpets in common areas were filthy with a damp stench. At breakfast the there were cockroaches moving across the floor. I found one on the hot water flask spout and just lost my appetite

Beautiful and well place Hotel! However, their maintenance team is not up there with the others. You’ll find unhinged and squeaky cupboards doors unfixed; shower door removed with a massive hole left on the wall; curtains in the bedroom that clearly have not seen water in ages; the least said about the breakfast, the better.

Está a decrescer, o quarto onde fiquei hospedado, apesar de ser executivo, precisa de uma reabilitação. Não gostei. E tive que mudar-me de hotel

It's good for the area but could easily improve with better service. They took more than a full day to replace the battery on the door card reader and I had to be escorted to the room every time in the mean time.

One of the worst experiences in a hotel, see the pictures attached. Filthy bed sheets, rusty metal things, and so on

Big rooms and very spacious bathroom. Food could be better and almost no internet service in the rooms

The reception is beautiful and the staff is very friendly however the rooms are not clean,the carpet is dirty and smells very bad.the access card for opening our door was not working,the phone was not plugged in so we had to go up and down everytime we need something. We had to wear unironed clothes because they don't allow ironing inside and to borrow their iron took forever.
