Located at a little corner, La Biscondola serves up simple Italian fare. We visited after lunchtime and it was one of the few eateries still open and taking customers.

Food was great overall, the vibes were good, service was prompt and friendly. As we were sharing a pasta, the crew even portioned out the pasta proactively before serving.

Recommended if you are around the area!

Tolles Restaurant mit schöner ruhiger Atmosphäre! Die Kellner sind super aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Essen war auch super, den Panzanella Salat kann ich sehr empfehlen.

Food was delicious! The lasagna was superb and the pizza one of the best I had in Italy. Recommended. The outside area is very nice

The service was terrific! I can’t believe these reviews, and this place is so legit! Give it a shot; you won’t regret it. We got organic local wine from St Gimignano and Tuscany vegetarian soup. Amazing ????????

מסעדה מדהימה . רומנטית בטירוף. צוות מטבח ומלצרים מקסים . שרות מצויין ! המנות המוגשות גדולות משביעות וטעימות ! הזמנו רביולי . פיצה . לזנייה . מוסקה . מרק לחם . סלטים . קינוח . הכל הגיע מהר צלחות גדולות אוכל נהדר ובנדיבות ! המוזיקה רגועה רומנטית . זה המקום המושלם !

We stopped for a drink and a snack in the afternoon

Spritzes (too small) and ‘Tuscan antipasto’

Too expensive

13€ for some lettuce about four olives some meats - which were good - garlic bread and plain bread and four FOUR of the measliest slices of cheese I’ve ever seen - one type x 4 teeny tiny wedges

But the location, the town, is wonderful

Perfekt service med mkt humor. Snabbt serverat. Lutande restaurang vilket ger stället lite ”edge”. God mat särskilt gnocchin.

Thursday evening - 9pm: service was great, the pasta was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect! A lovely hidden gem.

We visit the surroundings of San Gimignano each year and always pay a visit (or two) to La Biscondola. Good food for a reasonable price and we always order the excellent Bruschetta. Nice and quiet corner just out of the busy main street and you can still see all the people walking by. I can understand the comments made in other reviews about the owner, but to us it’s like watching a real life Italian episode of ‘Fawlty Towers’ and part of the entertainment ????

2x opnieuw geweest voor de lasagne en pizza. Ruime keuzemogelijkheden. Heerlijk zitten uit de drukte, maar toch zicht op voorbijgangers en de sfeer van het stadje. Beste ervaring tijdens ons verblijf in het stadje.

Der toskanische Vorspeisenteller war sehr gut und reichlich. Es war kein Problem, dass wir diesen zu Zweit essen wollten, es gab 2x Teller und 2x Besteck dazu. Das Personal sehr freundlich, Kartenzahlung war problemlos möglich. Der Aperol Spritz mit 6,50 günstiger wie oben am großen Platz (bis zu 9,-). Alles in Allem waren wir sehr zufrieden.
